o get into the apartment, leaving us in the street with our luggage and phones that needed a charge after our trip. All attempts to contact our host were met with silence. Once we found a phone number to call, we were able to contact VRBO and they were amazing. Fortunately we had a wonderful trip thanks to VRBO.

Excellent location

Stayed here for a week with my sister. The location is superior! So close to everything! It’s an older building and an older apartment but it’s very clean and had everything necessary. It’s also quite small. Just enough space for the 2 of us but we only used the location for sleeping. Property manager was amazing. Great communication. Would stay here again and highly recommend!

Perfect for a short stay 👌

I arrived at the building and it was easy to get the key as it is very close to the entrance. I made my way up to the flat entered the flat i saw that it was very clean, the bed is very comfortable. There's a washing machine which is great. The mismatch furniture was a little funny, but other than that, it's a great place for a short stay. And it is so close to the Marble arch tube and to hyde park, it's a very convenient location

London on a budget

If you’re used to backpacking and don’t need luxury but just a nice little place that you can make your home for some days this is it. Sushi in walking distance, a Tesco just around the corner, a lively street with a lot of restaurants and all kind of attractions nearby, simple 24/7 check in, an apartment that gives you an authentic experience of London - what more can you ask for? We’re a young-ish couple on a budget and definitely enjoyed our stay. Thanks for having us!

Great for night owls - not for us.

The flat itself was just great for our needs. A little shabby, old, and in need of some TLC, but clean. The kitchen was fine for making breakfast and snacks, although there was no coffee maker. The bathroom was fine. Water temp and pressure was great. The location was our issue.Situated on a very busy street, the nighttime street-racing, multiple sirens, and noisy revelers outside made it difficult to sleep. The flat's manager was excellent about communicating. We did like that we were close to tune stations and walking distance to awesome sites and sights.

Get what you pay for

Check in was easy but besides that this was a terrible experience. Place smelt like cigarette smoke, neighbours yell from about 10pm-2am daily, shower only runs scolding hot (host did offer to send someone to fix it) and found several roaches. I ended up leaving the place a week early because it was unbearable but the location was central and the host was somewhat helpful. Check in process was easy.

Great location, uncommunicative host

The apartment itself is simple but nice and in an unbeatable location for the price. The building is a dump and the neighbors are loud and smelly. The traffic noise from outside is also particularly loud. There is paid parking available across the street, but not at the apt itself as the listing would suggest. The bed is super comfortable. The shower was a struggle to adjust - water is only either boiling hot or freezing cold, and does not stay with a single temperature for long. I arrived to very little toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, body wash, or laundry soap. Host was communicative during the booking process and provided check in and check out details, but was slow to respond during my stay, so much that I had to go to Tesco to purchase my own provisions. I'd love to stay in this location again, but would look for other flats.

Misleading description of the property. From the entry all the way up 4 flights of stairs the property is old and VERY dirty. Filth, food, trash, poor lighting and felt very gross and unsafe. I told the host in advance I was coming with my 12 year old daughter looking for a clean safe place and she was encouraging. When we got there, we could NOT stay… we had booked 11 nights and my daughter was in tears “how can we stay here 11 nights?” I said we would not. The host said her only responsibility was the room, not the property and refused a refund. The inside was “ok” but not lovely by any standard. It appeared to have been cleaned but chairs were broken, very hot. Old and quaint would have been ok, but this building/space was not that. The description misrepresents the place and experience you would expect from her words and pictures. She should have included the entry etc but of course why would you show such an awful place? We had to find lodging for our stay which was very expensive. All I asked was for a refund, and now I am challenging her refusal. Travelers rely on hosts to be honest and helpful about their properties. This was a terrible experience.
Dirt and trash all the way up the stairs (photos can’t quite capture how bad it was) elevator was questionable so we walked.
More food and diet
Bad all the way to the door, then the inside was ok, but not “lovely” as described.

Good Location

Valeria was communicative and let us check in early which was a huge plus. She also communicated that we left items and coordinated a hand off which was very considerate and much appreciated! This place is very centrally located and easily walkable to attractions, food, etc. The building in which this apartment was surprisingly run down and uncleanly. Some things within the apartment were also uncleanly (i.e. dirty silverware). On our last day, we ended up noticing that there was black mold on the ceiling in the kitchen which was very unsettling. The apartment suited our needs but was pretty bare bones (no extra blankets, heater barely worked, etc.). My partner and I were working from the space and the WiFi was very unreliable -- we couldn't have our phones connected to WiFi while on our computers and we couldn't take any Zoom calls at the same time or else we'd freeze/be kicked off. All in all, this place would be good for someone who wants a central location and will not be at the apartment much.

Do not recommend

I recently stayed at this flat, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Firstly, the water takes forever to get hot, and on several occasions, I had to endure cold showers. Additionally, the neighbors are extremely noisy, especially during the night, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The flat itself looks significantly different from the pictures on the listing. This was quite disappointing as it did not meet my expectations based on the advertised images. To top it off, on our last day, the cleaners showed up at 9:20 am, despite our check-out time being 11 am. They entered the flat without knocking and insisted that our check-out time was 9 am, which was both rude and unprofessional. Overall, I would not recommend this flat based on my experience.

I would be happy to help you with understanding how the system works to have hot water all the time. Regarding the noise, we provide earplugs for all the guests and in the listing details it's mentioned that this flat might have potentional noise. Unfortunately nothing else can be done about that. I would be glad if you explain what was different from the photos because the photos are showing exactly this flat with all it's amenities. I'm very sorry that cleaners behaved so, I will speak with them for sure. It's also important to mention that I asked you in advance about your check out time to organise cleaners and not to keep them waiting so they arrived the time you said. Good location but very noisy!

I loved the central neighbourhood but it was super noisy and it was hot for my stay there so I had to have the windows open ( no A/C ) I would highly recommend earplugs. There is a flat below which has an outside patio and several people staying there were out there smoking at all hours so the flat was filled with smoke. Some neighbours on the same floor loved to party late and leave their front door open so it was LOUD! I had to nag Valeria to give me the check-in details even though I explained I was coming from California. She finally did but less than 12 hours before which was stressful.. After that she only asked me when I was checking out. She did not respond to my messages about no bedside lamp or a leak under the bathroom sink! The amenities were spartan. There is a need for more plates, cups, glasses and bowls and soap, shampoo etc. The shower was incomprehensible and after all the reviews about it there should be written instructions. I was provided one hand towel, one bath towel and a dishtowel, not enough. The bed was comfortable but it is a sleeper sofa. Easy access to everywhere in London, short walk to tube and buses.

Emplacement idéal pour visiter Londres seulement un gros problème de propreté dans l'appartement, utilisation de serviettes et de coussins tachés, aménagement assez vieux est mal entretenu. Fenêtre comprenant que du simple vitrage impossible de dormir sans boules quies, plus que moyen pour le prix demandé.

L’appartement était correct. Bien situé, proche du métro. Secteur quand même bruyant. Mon seul gros bémol concerne la température de l’eau dans la douche, qui à mon avis devrait être configurée par l’hôte car le système est complexe pour les touristes, et ça peut prendre quelques jours avant d’avoir la bonne température pour l’eau.

Flat as expected, neighbours weren’t great

The property was as listed in terms of location and interior. Basic but fine for a day or two in London and brilliant location. The building and neighbours were not great. They were loud, a little intimidating to be honest and the building itself had a very strange atmosphere. I wouldn’t recommend for solo female travellers or light sleepers.

Für einen kurztrip okay

Wir waren lediglich zwei Nächte dort um uns die Stadt etwas anzuschauen. Die Lage ist super für eine Stadtbesichtigung, die UBahn ist nicht weit weg. Allerdings ist das Haus ansich etwas herab gekommen, der Nachbar hat täglich Besuch bis spät in die Nacht und dieser kommt durch den Aufzug der ordentlich Krach macht beim aussteigen. Richtig zum schlafen ist man leider nicht gekommen. Leider hatten wir auch kein warm Wasser zur Verfügung und duschen wurde damit zum Horrorakt-in Sommer ja kein Problem, aber im Herbst Winter. Ansich kann man mal machen, wir waren meist zu fertig vom Tag und der Lauferei das man wenigstens schnell wieder eingeschlafen ist :-)

Excellent location

I was travelling with my son. We were very happy with the apartment. The flat was really clean and had eveything we needed. The location of the flat is perfect: just a walk away from Hyde park, Regent's park and Oxford street. The neighbours and the elevator were a bit noisy, but that didnt really bother us. We really enjoyed our stay. I think the flat offered a real value for money and would book it again!
