Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall it was OK. The place was in a great location, with great views of the gulf. The condo needed a deep cleaning, and was kind of dingy. Found dirty coffee cups in the pantry, and the warming drawer with all the sheet trays was filthy. There were no oven mitts or hot pads anywhere, and we found that out after putting our dinner in the oven. Had to pull out the hot food using a bathroom towel.

Fall Vacation at Seascape

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We always have a pleasurable experience at Seascape and Miramar Beach. The location (Majestic Sun) and view are incredible! We have been coming to this place for over 25 years. The den furniture was nearly new and pretty , but the bedroom furniture was old and inadequate. The kitchen supplies were lacking. The condo had not been cleaned and well maintained prior to our visit. One commode was dirty and had not been cleaned. The same commode was running and flushing every few minutes. One sink leaked, with a puddle on the counter every day. The bathtub did not drain well. Despite the condition of the room, it was a very enjoyable stay!

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: One bathtub didn’t drain water well so filled while showering. The other bathroom sink leaked by the facet so you had to keep a towel around it to absorb the water. The ice maker didn’t work so we had maintenance come out. They never got back with us so we had to buy ice multiple times a day. We have stayed many times at different units and I think none are actually cleaned but kept hoping for a better experience each time we returned. We decided we won’t be returning because it seems to be getting worse as the years go by. We went to 30A last time and will be our new go too.

Doesn’t provide anything to make you feel at home or comfortable. One very thin blanket on the master bed. With two very flat and uncomfortable pillows. Same for the other beds and no extra blankets for the pullout bed. No rug to help dust sand off feet on entry. No beach towels. No beach toys. No board games. No dish soap. No not even one extra trash bag. Very very minimal, because of this it feels cold and sterile. Could use a deep cleaning. Dust balls on ceiling and bathrooms not super clean. We have stayed at other condos in this complex that were fantastic! This location is amazing!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The stay was fine . The kitchen and the first bathroom near the kitchen was the cleanest. The place had a musty odd smell. I cleaned as good as I could because we were staying for a week. Unfortunately I trusted my sister to just go with this room for the price because she was getting married along that beach. The room needs maintenance. We were supplied with a few things but not many towels. We did have a washer and dryer thankfully to rewash. The room never got cool. I think the ac had to be set on 72 and I swear it had mold coming out of the vent in the living room. The room wasn't great but the location was so it's the only reason we stayed. The view is pretty , the set up is good, kitchens tight . Living room furniture I would cover with a sheet they provided just to sit on the couch. View , view .. thats what they have.

Crowded with awful elevator issues...but perfect beach and water

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very very crowded beach since there are quite a few high rise buildings here. Most of the week, only two elevators of the three were running. Sometimes only one was working. If we added up the time we waited for an elevator, which often showed up more than full, we would have had more time on the beach. But the saving grace in all this is the beautiful beach and perfectly clear water. We had a wonderful week and my kids had a blast. We would just probably choose another place next time due to the crowds. But if crowds don't bother you and waiting on elevators isn't a big deal...you will like it. Oh..the room...very scantly filled with the things you need...we didn't even have salt and pepper. Furniture was very dirty, but having white furniture in a beach condo, you kind of expect it. But wow...what a view!

Convenient but needs updates

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property was so convenient to everything and the view was beautiful! There were some updates but then it’s almost like they stopped. Definitely needed some dusting. Make sure to bring all your toiletries and hair dryer. The check in and check out process was super easy. Kitchen fully stocked (except dish/hand soap). Plenty of seating and eating areas. Beds comfortable but were missing a comforter for the sofa bed. Would recommend but definitely think they need to take some time to update and fix a few things with the price they are expecting. The employees there were very professional and helped with everything I needed before and during my stay. They were wonderful.

Reviewer Comments: We didn't have air conditioning until the last day of our stay because there were no batteries in the thermostat and the breaker was tripped. The storms were terrible, which is nobody's fault, Mother Nature is just unpredictable, but we paid a large amount of money to come and spend 1 day on the water and the rest inside because the pools were closed as well.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo was filthy. Floors left our feet black, glass door was so dirty you could barely see out of it. We actually had to use the mop in the condo to wash down the floors ourself and clean patio door window! Too much traffic noise outside our bedroom window too. Had to call maintenence d/t garbage disposal being stopped up and making nasty smelling water leak out of the dish washer onto the floor. Love the location maintenance was great, and check in and out process was amazing but condo definitely needs alot of cleaning.

We had to keep the glass doors open to try and keep the musty smell down. No hair dryer in bathroom. Would not recommend staying in this condo since we have had much better ones in this complex.

Reviewer Comments: The unit was dirty floors not clean, counter tops grimy, furniture very dusty shelves in bathroom dirty shower doors dirty and covered in soap scum. So had to clean and wipe everything off. I have pictures of dirty towel from cleaning. The worst is and didn’t see them till that night or would have left and probably should have is unit has cockroaches! The property manager did send in pest control couple of times but we did keep seeing the cockroaches. In general we have stayed at seascape several times and love the location and convenience and view fr Majestic sun is awesome. Unit A 609 needs major deep cleaning and updating in bathrooms

Good stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall it was a good stay! We had a few issues, but nothing that would make me not stay there again. First of all, the condo just needs a little love and attention. It is starting to show its age. A few minor repairs, replacing the drapes in the living area, and some detail painting of trim would spruce this place back up. That being said, it was clean and comfortable. The view from the balcony is just gorgeous! The Majestic Sun building is is aesthetically pleasing against the beachfront, and beach is beautiful with it's fine white sand. Water is crystal blue. Location is handy to Destin and about midway between Pensacola and Panama City. Some great shopping, restaurants and activities all very close. Our best adventure was going to Pickens Fort ( take 399 through the National Seashore) and favorite eatery was by far McGuire’s Irish Pub.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our condo was cockroach infested. We took pictures and sent them to Will. He was unable to relocate us for the 1st night so we had to stay in a Hilton hotel. He relocated us the next day to a better condo. The experience was very inconvenient. He was prompt to assist us while we were there, however now that we are seeking the accommodation we were notified we would receive, I have not heard back from him.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place was so nasty , all around ,, Cockroaches all over ,, place is not inviting ... tv don’t work , toilets nasty . Kitchen lacks utensils .. over all a nasty and very poor place

Reviewer Comments: Not the amenities promised-we had roaches -called the management and they didn’t seem concerned- said they would send maintenance but never showed-not very clean- not enough silverware- ice maker didn’t work-
