This is a really nice apartment. 1 bedroom has 2 single beds, and the other has 1 bed. Only the first bedroom has a/c, the other has a fan. The couch in the living room can be used as a bed, and there's a/c in there. The bathroom is decent sized. The shower stall is a bit small, but there's hot water and great water pressure. Just note that the apartment is on the 3rd floor so you'll have to take the stairs each time. Neve was a great host. She gave us some history about Dubrovnik and gave us good restaurant recommendations. The alley is very pretty and is a great location for photos. It is really close to Pile gate.
Property is good. But I have to tell about our first night experience. We arrived after midnight due to flight delay. Owner let us in, showed us around quickly and left in a hurry (I understand it was late and she needs to get home). We then went out to get food but could not get back into the apartment because the key was stuck and would not turn left or right no matter how hard we tried. We whatapped the owner and also called but no answer. We kept on calling all night but no response so we sat outside on the stairs until about 7am and the owner finally saw our message and sent her husband to help. Apparently when the key stuck, you have to throw your body weight over it to make it turn! No body told us that!!! So our first night in Dubrovnik was basically sleepless, cold, agonizing and being shut outside our apartment! We later contacted Direct Booker, the agent who handles the apartment for the owner. We can tell they read our whatsapp message, but we did not even get an acknowledge of the incident, let alone an apology!
If not for this first night experience, we would give this apartment a good review. But the owner's miscommunication about the key caused our miserable first night and I have to warn other travelers that please make sure you try your key before letting the owner leave after check-in.
