Although we were barely there with all of the derby festivities, it met our needs and had plenty more to offer that we did not even get an opportunity to take advantage of.
My wife grew up in Louisville and we have lived in the Highlands for 20+ years. We have two young kids and we enjoy sharing our home and this tremendous area with race fans for the last couple years.
We purchased our home tucked away in Cherokee Triangle in the Highlands of Louisville because of the unique closeness to the city life on Bardstown Road and the peaceful tranquility of Cherokee Park and the Triangle. Our guests have often restated our own findings, that there is something for everyone in our home location.
We really focus our rental on the Kentucky Derby and Breeder's Cup type events where our guests are looking for a home that is a calm away from the storm which are these two historic races. However, still a short walk from local restaurants and entertainment on Bardstown Road or downtown.
