This is an absolutely amazing villa There was everything you could need for a stay The grounds are beautiful, the pool sensational and the house itself is truly wonderful The single track roads up to the villa from Sayalonga were initially a bit hair raising but once driven a few times there were no issuesThe area is very quiet, the view from the terrace is breathtaking as is the view from the front of the property We cannot fault it at all Noelia (the property contact) was amazing too We would definitely book this property again

Such a lovely casa, views were wonderful, the casa had everything you could possibly need. We had a wonderful stay, sadly May is a little early for a dip in the fabulous pool, too cold for us. We ate every meal outside, there were at least 3 dinning areas to choose from!! We had a great time.The only drawback was the drive up to and back from Saylonga. I am not happy with heights and some of the narrow roads were a little scary.

Belvilla by OYO Casa Iris was the perfect retreat for our family vacation, The private swimming pool was a hit with the kids, and we loved lounging on the sun terrace, The villa itself was spacious and well-equipped, making it easy to cook meals together, Being just a short drive from Algarrobo Costa Beach was a bonus! We also enjoyed exploring nearby restaurants like Bar Jocavi for some delicious local cuisine, The only downside was the noise restriction at night, but it really did help maintain the peaceful atmosphere of the area

Beautiful villa and location. The view is amazing and the pool is fantastic. The villa itself is spaceous and fully equipped although some of the kitchen utilities may need replacement in due time. A challenge is the road to reach the villa; you need to have some driver’s skills to get there the 1st time…but believe me…you will love the ride and view. Overall: 9/10

Villa Iris

A beautiful, spacious and well equipped villa with fabulous views to all sides. All of us who stayed would defintely go back. Only downsides - it isn't easy to find. Best to locate the property on Google Maps and then follow the directions to the villa, as it is on windy mountain roads with many twists and turns. If coming from Malaga, the route via Sayalonga is best. It would have been good to have separate towels for the pool area, and good though the sun umbrellas are, they only provide partial sun protection. Make sure you also bring plenty of insect repellant! But these are all really minor points in what is a really nice villa!

A diamond in the hills

I followed the gps the first time to find Casa Iris. Shouldn’t have done that. There were others much better roads up to the house. The house was actually a bit better then on the pictures, everything that the description said about the house was correct. It’s a very nice house and it’s modern and fully equipped. In the nights there were strong winds but the house is well built so we didn’t have a problem with that. The only thing that can be good to know is that the road up to the house from Sayalonga village is mostly paved with concrete but has som sections without. We had a Ford Focus and you could say that the ground clearance is a bit too low but we managed by driving slowly past the sections that weren’t paved. A good idea is to rent a car with Hill start assist. In all the house is very nice and the view is absolutely stunning! I highly recommend Casa Iris.

Very nice house with a spectacular view. The house is not big, but it feels spacious due to the big living area. The master bedroom is very nice, big enough and has a nice bath room, which is shared with the second bedroom (two seperate beds), where our kids were. The bed in the master bedroom was excellent. The other bedroom, smaller, but very nice indeed. The kitchen, which we used 3 times a day, for 7 days, has a big refrigerator and freezer at the bottom. I appreciated the gas fire... the kitchen is well equiped. The best thing at this house has to be the pool. The view from that pool is beautiful, as you look down the hill at the sea. Is was very clean when we arrived, which was such a releave. All the plant you see in the pictures on the website are actually real and very well maintained. It gives the pool area and the garden a very fresh and welcoming look. Note to the owners: the gardener who comes once a week, is money very well spent. I would book this place every year, if only the house would not be so far from... everything. I realise that 'distance' is a very subjective thing, so I will try to use only facts: the road from the house to Sayalonga is a bit narrow and does not have a guardrail everywhere. I don't think I would try that road when it's dark. It takes about 15 minutes to drive to Sayalonga (very small grocery shop), is you take the less 'dangerous' road; and from there it takes 15 minutes to Algarrobo (big shops, beach...). For most of us, this is not a problem, but I found it a bit too far. Conclusion: very nice house, spectacular view, but you need a good car and good driver.

Propre, spacieux et pratique, La villa avait tout ce dont nous avions besoin pour un séjour relaxant, Les plages à proximité étaient super pour les enfants, et nous avons apprécié de dîner au Bar Jocavi à quelques minutes en voiture, Nous reviendrions certainement, surtout pour les nuits tranquilles sous les étoiles
