What a lovely accommodation! Martin is a great host and anticipates what weary travelers will need to settle in. The flat is well appointed and has everything one could imagine or need. The location is ideal with easy transportation links. Both underground and bus are within easy walking distance. One of the world's great shopping adventures is a ten-minute walk and at least a full day's adventure!

The house is in a nice residential area with Shepherd’s Bush and Olympia tube Stations within walking distance. Martin ensured we had more than essential groceries and was super helpful getting us oriented, even helping out with arranging local cab hire and how to do international calling. The apartment is spacious and very comfortable with all the amenities you need for setting up housekeeping. It had more cutlery than we have at home!

We love this place! Great location and very helpful and pleasant host! Feels like home each time we stay. WiFi is included. TV has Netflix. There is laundry machine in the kitchen. Plenty of outlets near the bed for charging phone, etc.There is a little grocery around the corner as well as a wonderful little bakery that serves breakfast and lunch sandwiches.

We had a glorious time. The apartment was spacious, comfortable, and pleasant. Great neighborhood. We have a 7 day tube pass and it was easy to get to everywhere we wanted to see. Martin is a most gracious host, and we felt privileged to spend some time with him. Would love to spend more time there.

Yes there were shops and restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Kitchen had more than enough stuff. Spacious with more than enough room. I would definitely go there again.

Highly recommend this listing. Martin communicated clearly & thoroughly with us from the start. He even welcomed & oriented us to the unit personally! (he lives downstairs), And he set us up with bread, butter, jams, milk, granola, and eggs---we were set for breakfasts. He also has a fully stocked pantry and toiletries cabinet, as well as other great amenities (including converters, & a yoga mat!). The pics on the listing don't do it justice---it's an amazing classic big unit with high ceilings, good light, & ample storage. As stated, one downside is that the bedroom and kitchen look out onto a busy street on the backside----it took a few nights even with earplugs in, but eventually we got used to it (there is a sofabed in the living room but the mattress is uneven & some late night neighbor noise above; even though as a couch it's firm; the loveseat is saggy). The neighborhood is fantastic---classic rowhomes, quiet, close to 2 Tube stations as well as bus stops, grocers & restaurants at the end of the quiet block, & a major commercial area /shopping center a few blocks away on the other end, the lovely Holland Park nearby, as well as proximity to Kensington. The other downside for us is that the windows don't open (for safety reasons on the back street side) except for one in the living room; there are portable fans for the rooms though.

Sandra and daughters, Meghan and Lauren were delightful guests, kept in contact while travelling here and, although I did not check them out, left the apartment in neat order. They managed the sofa bed - not an easy task, i would add! Welcome to return whenever they have the opportunity. Martin

Excellent property with an outstanding host. Close to multiple transportation options, food, shopping, restaurants. Flat is exactly as described. Clean, well-equipped with everything needed for our extended stay. Have recommended to friends, and would definitely stay again.

Cathy and Hal, with their two daughters, who joined them for part of their stay, were exemplary guests. They were delightfully friendly, interesting and looked after the apartment as if it was their own. They are most welcome to return and i would be happy to host any of their riends.

Great stay

Really enjoyed the flat. Cozy and clean, just as pictured on the site. Close to tube and buses. Martin was excellent, very helpful with advise on using public transport and what to see and where to eat.

Charming older apartment in quiet area. Convenient to bus stops and train station. Host even went so far as bought some staples to have in the frig to get us started. Martin was extremely thoughtful and responsive host.

This place is fantastic. The property is in a brilliant location and is very comfortable. The heating and appliances were all in first rate order. We could cook, clean and do our laundry in privacy. There is plenty of storage space. We liked that the pantry had some basic food items. The double glazing front and back (both the Elsham Road and Holland Road ends of the property) meant that it is very quiet in every room. It is just a short walk to rail links (Central Line) and gorgeous village atmosphere of Holland Park Avenue. The proximity to Westfield and Shepherd's Bush is handy. We really appreciated the change of linen half way through our stay. This place is as good as the other very positive reviews suggest.

This was truly a home away from home from the peaceful neighborhood to the wonderful host, Martin. Martin's attention to detail for your stay is nothing short of perfect. From the warm meeting to the final goodbye, Main makes your stay feel like a home away from home. The interior is exactly as the photos show, beautifully decorated and newly appointed.

This apartment is a gem. Exactly as described and photographed. Very comfortable with bathroom amenities and breakfast makings supplied. Martin has tried and succeeded in pre-emptying guest needs.Shepherds Bush station and Westfield London within a 10 minute walk.
