A Place That Feels Like Home.

Cocoa Suites 37 offers the perfect combination of style, comfort, convenience and great location. The bed was very comfortable, the suite was quiet, and the atmosphere was peaceful. Everything felt new and well maintained. Excellent value for money.

Great location

Well equipped suite in a convenient location for accessing the sights of York. Good pubs and cafe's nearby. Quiet building. Would stay again.

The apartment was perfectly placed for our short stay in York. We booked for 3 nights. We arrived early for check in and the apartment was ready and waiting. The check instructions were emailed days before and were ready to and east to follow. The position of the apartment meant we walked into and around every day with no need for the car...We had the perfect time and will definitely visit again.

Great Apartment

I would highly recommend this apartment for a visit to York. The location is great - you are no more than a 10 minute walk all the attractions, and there are lots of nice restaurants close by. The apartment was very comfortable - good size bedroom and lounge. Kitchen is small but has everything you need for a short stay.

Clean, modern, quiet property within easy walk of the centre of York

The apartment was clean and modern and very quiet in the evenings. It isn't in the historical centre but that is an easy walk away. Accessing via the key safe instructions worked fine.

Fantastic stay.

Absolutely gorgeous apartment. Exceptionally clean. Plenty of room in the apartment. Keycodes for all access for safety. Everything you would need in the apartment for a short or long stay. About a 10min walk to centre of shops, bars and restaurants. And the little welcome pack with tea, coffee, UHT milk and biscuits was much appreciated on arriving. Would highly recommend and will be booking again when we visit York.

I stayed in cocoa suites 37 for two weeks The flat was comfortable and Cosy . Small kitchen but for me not an issue since I was not cooking. The view was the best .Close to city center and to supermarkets as well.

It is my second home away from home

It was the second time I’ve stayed in this room, for two weeks. I really enjoyed the comfortable bed, the excellent shower, the efficient heating that can be regulated as needed. The location is excellent, the check-in is efficient and convenient, and there is contact by phone or email with the owner during working hours. What I didn't like so much – is the shower has a sewage smell, but if you close the sliding door and the bathroom door it's fine. Apparently the heating in the hallway was broken because it didn't turn on the whole time I was there. There were a few things missing in the apartment such as hand soap, a foot towel for the shower, a kitchen towel and soap for the washing machine, and it took two days for them to be provided. The place promises that if a cleaning is done they will contact to arrange it in advance, but one day the clean-ladies showed up without prior notice and I told them there was no need, because I am very organized and maintain a high level of cleanliness myself. All in all this is a perfect place to stay and I will definitely be back for my future studying in York. Thank you

Comfortable Stay in a Well-Equipped Apartment, with a Few Minor Issues.

I have previously stayed in the same apartment, Cocoa Suites 37, for both one-week and two-week periods several times in the past few years. I really love that it has wall-to-wall carpeting throughout the entire place (except, of course, in the kitchen and shower-room). I also appreciate that it has a separate bedroom, unlike other rooms at Cocoa Stays York. I find that the heating works well, although in the evening, it turns off in the living room and had to be restarted manually. However, I didn’t have the time to contact the staff to ask for instructions on how to keep it running continuously for 24 hours. The kitchen is small but efficient for preparing simple meals in the microwave or oven, and it had everything I needed. However, the cutlery this time was not clean, with food residue stuck to it. The bathroom floor also wasn’t entirely clean, as there were hairs left behind—either from previous guests or possibly from the cleaner. Another issue was that the code for the gate to the waste disposal area didn’t seem to be updated, as it simply wouldn’t open the gate. As a result, I had to take my trash and look for nearby public bins. Aside from these points, everything was perfect. The apartment had everything needed for a one-week stay, including hand soap in the kitchen, which wasn’t provided in previous visits. The check-in check-out process was smooth, and I will gladly return again.

Séjour très réussi à York dans un bel appartement

L’appartement est très bien placé et très calme (pas de voiture et vue sur un canal) depuis les fenêtres. Très central avec beaucoup de lignes de bus pour la ville et la campagne. Appartement confortable, arrangé avec goût et très bien équipé. A recommander.

Little Gem

Absolutely lovely apartment. Everything we needed to enjoy our stay in York. Very comfortable, modern and well equipped. Managed to park right outside for £13 for 24hrs, had Waitrose & Morrisons over the road, 5 min walk to the Shambles and access to the walls literally just around the corner. We are already planning another stay.

A week gateaway in lovely York

Nice, clean and pretty place, very good location to city centre, all sightseeing places and restaurants. Spacy appartment with small kitchen. With nice birds sounds in the mornings (be sure you do not mind this). Definetely recommended!

The apartment is really new and very well equipped. Since we've got our bikes with us the trip into York's center took only 3 minutes, on foot perhaps 10. So the location of the apartment is very good, Also a supermarket is only 5 minutes away on foot. The apartment is really nice. There are only two suggestions concerning the equipment: An extractor hood would avoid false alarms of the smoke detector in the kitchen, even if is only a circulating air model. An a fan would help to move the air in the rooms. Because the windows open to the same side, no natural "cross ventilation" is possible.
