The house's accomidations checked all the boxes for my family. We each had our own room and our own bed. Which is important when there is 8 of us. The best part was the 4 kids all getting to sleep in their own bunk. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool before and after a day out on the lake. The location is perfect for all your needs outside of the home (groceries, restaurants, and lanuching a boat). The neighborhood was nice and quiet with neighbors waving as they drove by. There is plenty of room to park a boat and vehicles.
We were a pretty low key family looking for a place to have a small family reunion and found this âAmazing pool homeâ in Lake Havasu City. The only problem was the pool was under construction when we arrived. I booked the house 3 weeks in advance and didnât receive one hint of the pool not being ready for use from the host. Needless to say, everyone was disappointed especially when the outside temperature reached 100 degrees when we arrived and 98 the rest of our weekend. The inside of the house has a decent layout but furniture was worn out, water filter in frig was expired so ice left debris in glasses when it melted..A little heads up and we could have found something else but with no notice at all we were stuck with our booking. This listing was a super host but there was no respect for our time or money in this case. Very unfortunate for us.
We had great experiance in this property , we had a big group of family and house was super spacious and clean. Checking and out was very smooth and easy. The property is great for family
This house is very family and kid friendly. We stayed here with four couples and seven kids and everyone fit very comfortably. The pool was nice and refeshing after a day at the lake, especially the shallow end for the little one. The house is located just a block away from the hospital and very close to many supermarkets. Just 5 minutes away from the island too!
My husband and I and are fur baby Kojak had a wonderful 58 day stay! Very nice pool and I went in a lot even though it wasnât heated it was a great way to cool off as we had awesome weather and hot tub after swimming was perfect! House had everything youâd ever need and location was quiet neighborhood and 3 minutes to London Bridge. Thank you YL for letting us stay at your beautiful home!
Loved it.The location was great, the house was perfect for us and my dog enjoyed it. The owner was very nice and helpful with anything we needed, Definitely will return
I booked this home due to itâs location a the size for my Family. We were 6 adults an 7 kiddos. We All had a blast. The pool was a hit for the kids while they were swimming, us adults were enjoying the other end of the pool with a built in table having drinks. The house had plenty of parking for our boat an a jet ski. The mattresses were very comfortable I slept well. Two of the rooms have mini splits A/C which worked very well especially in the kids room with the bunk beds. Over all I was happy with my stay an would recommend this home in the future!
The house was nice, a little smaller than expected but was able to accommodate 15 people just fine. Pool was amazing for the hot summer nights. Host was very accommodating with last minute changes, responded very quickly to all questions.
We rented the house for our entire family. Everyone had a comfortable place to sleep, the pool was perfect for the young kids and adults. We enjoyed the jacuzzi. The location was perfect! We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would definitely return. Our only complaints were that the fridge didnât keep our food cool, and the bunkbed room was extremely hot - we couldnât get it too cool off no matter what we tried. Other than that we had an amazing vacation!
Thank you Y.L.
Your rental was like my private resort ;) The pool is fabulous and the salt water system was great for my skin, what a plus.
I felt so at home there and though I wouldn't choose to walk to the London bridge, the location is very close to everything I wanted.
The house really felt like home, very quiet and safe. It was only me and another friend but I can imagine the joy of bringing my family and grandchildren there. The pool is so well designed for all ages!
Thank you again and I hope to be back there again this year.
Blessings, Kathleeen
The pool had a dead mouse in it but I am sure that happens. I do recommend bringing a fan the rooms on one side of the house don't get much a/c and were really hot. The fans that were provided are really loud and definitely need to be replaced. Despite all this the pool was a nice temp and we spent most of our time swiming or at the lake. The beds are kinda hard so if you are into that you will like it. Overall not a bad place to stay.
This place had a lot of driveway space, a carport for your boat or car, plenty of bedspace, and is close to the London Bridge. The owner placed several fans in the house to help with AC distribution into the bunk room; it was sufficient, but just barely. However we did have a +120F day that weekend so I can understand. I would suggest blackout curtains for that room as the blinds let a lot of light/heat in the room.
The pool was very nice with a large shallow section and a in pool table with umbrella. I should have skimmed the pool first and probably would have if the skimmer was obvious to find.
This is my second stay here; I would plan to stay again but would do a better job at managing the heat in the bunk room.
We arrived around 1:30pm in Havasu hoping to get access to the house. 3 cars with kids ages 12,6,and 5) were all stuck in the parking lot of Walmart not knowing when we can get out of the 109 degrees. I read that we can go and drop off our stuff before check in, but no one was answering my calls. No text messages, no calls. I had to call VBRO for them to track the owner. Until then did we get check in information.
Upon arriving at the house it was not what we expected. Sleeps16. What!! That means everyone is sleeping wall to wall. We were 9 and we couldnât all sit to watch tv. The entrance doors are all peeling. There are signs all over the house of what not to do. You look all over the house and itâs like they have thrown a bunch of stuff in a house that needs to be repaired.
Master bath has holes in the walls, with two colors where the old fixtures were and they never bothered to repair it.
All doors are peeling.
The sectional is old and has a dent in it. Like someone has been sleeping on it for a while.
The kitchen counter is old and now peeling.
The pool area⊠donât let me get started.
The lounge chairs are old with holes on them. Table old and peeling, Jacuzzi is kept closed with a rock.
Pool has black mold all over. Not a little, all over. When I mentioned it to the owner. He said it was all good..mmmm no.
The list goes on and on. This hoise needs to be remodeled before itâs rented to anyone else.
The property was in a great location for lake fun and recreation around the Havasu City venue. Home was very easy to use and functional and very nicely appointed. Pool was perfect for young and old alike with shallow end and table for relaxing.
Interior needs a remodel. Cabinet doors falling off, toilets do not flush very good. Air conditioning didnât cool garage room addition adequately, pool needs to be replastered. We also felt as though there is too much clutter on the tables and countertops(trays, plates etc.). None of these things kept us from having a great time. However, next time we are going to look for something more modern.
I've been visiting Lake Havasu since 1993. My family always asked me why I would drive 5 hours to get there when there are plenty of lakes close to home here in Southern California. My answer was, I can't explain it you have to see it for your self. Now they totally understand and often ask me, "When are WE going to Havasu"?
I wanted to transform this home to feel like a fun airy lake house. I did a pretty good job on the inside of the house... but on the pool I went overboard and I'm very happy I did, (and after reading guest comments they say I did also).
