We arrived early in the morning after an overnight flight. Alex worked his magic to have the house clean and ready for us so we could check in upon arrival. He responded within hours everytime we messaged him. The house had everything we needed for our family of 5. Located close to shops and restaurants. The bus station is just outside and about a 15 minute walk to train station.
The place was very clean, the kitchen was well-equipped. Though Fulham is a bit outside of central London, we walked to the District and Piccadilly Lines. (Piccadilly also provides direct access to Heathrow.) We enjoyed coffee, produce markets, restaurants, and pubs in the neighborhood. Aleskander was very helpful and responsive. Our only negative was on the appliancesâdishwasher didnât work and we were unable to access British stations on the TV.
Great Location and easy for getting around London by bus or tube. Nice neighbourhood with a good selection of restaurants nearby.
Alex very responsive host and the apartment was nicely finished with everything you need.
Alex was amazingâŠ.kind, prompt, informative, easy to reach. Check in was a breeze, home was lovely and clean. Alex assisted us with online apps for ease of getting around London as it was our first time. Location is safe and close to a number of tube stations, groceries and places to eat. I would definitely recommend and stay there again.
We loved this property! Beautiful accommodations, full kitchen, comfortable beds! We were across the street from the bus stop and close to three tube stations. Market and many restaurants were within walking distance. Alex was a great host and provided restaurant recommendations and directions to reach public transportation. Check in was a breeze. The only minor thing of note was you hear traffic from the front bedroom but we quickly adjusted and didn't hear much of anything after the first night. I would highly recommend this property and we would stay here again if ever back in London!
Alex is a very responsive and flexible host! The apartment was a perfect location for our needs in west London. It was well appointed with everything we needed for a comfortable stay with space to relax, sleep, eat and cook, and air conditioning is a great bonus. A bus stop was one block away (nearest tube stop is about a 15-minute walk, but the bus will take you there) and the nearest grocery store was just two blocks away. Fulham is a great blend of many cultures and ethnicities - lots of interesting food and local markets nearby. It is a bit removed from the major tourist attractions of central London, but with the bus so nearby connecting to the London Underground, everything is in reach. (London traffic is something to behold, but I certainly can't blame that on our host!)
Iâll start with the headline. Easily a hundred bugs and flies were in the unit. We arrived around 8:30pm and tried to get our kids to bed asap. We grabbed a comforter from the second bedroom closet and when we opened it quite a few bugs hopped out onto the floor. We then started looking around the apartment and noticed swarms of bugs and flies in most of the rooms, mostly in the master bedroom and the living room near the sleeper sofa. It was extremely gross. Attached pictures donât show all the bug areas. We attempted to sleep but really couldnât because the bugs kept crawling on the beds and onto us. My entire family had bug bites the next morning - we left right away for a hotel and are still trying to get our money back for the unused nights. The apartment: - 4 levels with stairs- master and 2nd bedroom on the top level (4th). Master bed is a queen not a king as advertised.- living room and kitchen on 3rd level. Sleeper sofa is on this level. - washer/dryer combo took the entire night but cleaned/dried well (no detergent provided though)- window AC unit in the master bedroom and living room. No other AC in the unit so the second bedroom and the bathrooms were extremely hot. We stayed only the one night in June which was mid 80s F.- Host was responsive and communicated in a reasonable time. - We were given instructions the day of our arrival and only when I asked for them. Further, they were sent via WhatsApp, which is fine, but I was never told to check WhatsApp.
Our stay at the Fulham apartment was wonderful. Communication with Alex was always open and speedy and Alex was great to deal with. He was very generous with our checkout also which was appreciated.
The apartment is neat and tidy, well set up and very well stocked. It has everything you need for a short or long stay. There is a Co-op down the street which is brilliant for any groceries and other good you might need for the stay.
The location was perfect for our needs as we were working in the area and could walk everywhere. However there are buses 20 metres from the front door and a couple of tube stations not far away to use if needed.
I would highly recommend this apartment and I would definitely use it again when I return to London.
My family and I had a great stay at Aleksanderâs place recently. The apartment was very comfortable for us and our two young children. We were very familiar with the area already and the house is well located for access to public transport. The house itself has a dedicated entry door from the street, with no shared passageways which made it very private and comfortable, and we were especially thankful for the openable windows on both sides of the apartment on every floor, which allowed a breeze through the house on the unseasonably hot days that we were staying there. Aleksander was also a great host, quick to respond to any queries. On our early arrival he came to meet us and kindly took care of our luggage until we were able to check in. Thank you Aleksander for a great stay!
My husband, daughter, son-in-law, and 15 mo old granddaughter stayed several days and really enjoyed it. There were several areas of London to explore and this was about a 25 min walk from a train. There was a bus just down the street that would also take you to the e train but we liked the walk. The neighborhood was nice. There was food and grocery within a few blocks. The baby liked getting out for a walk. There is a school across the street and park very close. There were lots of kids and people walking their dogs to see. The apartment was very nice! Very modern lighting and security. There was a great use of the space. It is on several levels with some stairs but it was not a problem. Eleanor loved climbing stairs. It was nice that the door would close off from the living to the hall to keep her from going out on her own. There is a pod coffee maker and we found the pods at the nearest grocery to fit it. It was cool enough but their is an air conditioner. There were some childrenâs books she loved and a big stuffed bear she wanted to play with. It wasnât a very big place but we were very comfortable. They were so kind to have the portable crib provided and ready for our stay! Communication with the owner was great and we felt supported if we needed anything! We would definitely ask to stay again if we returned!
