Everything was absolutely perfect. Francesco was a perfect host and gave us such great recommendations and was so helpful. The place was very clean and a perfect temperature. The bed was very comfortable and there was everything that we needed. Francesco gave us some great recommendations for breakfast lunch and dinner and was always available when we had a question. Very clean, bed was very comfortable, great space. The spiral staircase was beautiful, and the loft bedroom was really nice. Francesco and his father were great with check-in and leaving. We would stay here again, great location to all of Orvieto!

Our stay in Orvieto was very memorable & we hope to return again. Francesco is a wonderful, caring host. On arrival, he had to drive across the town to find us because we could not find him due to GPS problems. The Palazzo Urbani is beautiful, comfortable and perfectly located for walking to everything. On departure Francesco rescued us again. Our rental car would not start but with the help of Francesco & his father we were able to be on our way to the next destination. We highly recommend staying at Palazzo Urbani. We will always have wonderful memories of Orvieto.

Charming Orvieto stay

The apartment was wonderful for our 3 night stay in Orvieto. It was very comfortable and quiet, but close to everything. We loved the courtyard for morning cappuccino and an afternoon glass for of wine. The restaurant he suggested, Trattorii da Carlo, was amazing and shouldn’t be missed.

The location is perfect. The apartment is modern and beautifully designed. It is quiet at night. A short walk to the Duomo and many restaurants and shops. I only wish we could have stayed another night or two!

Francesco was a delightful host and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. I highly recommend this property!!! Charming apartment, just right for a couple. Large courtyard with church bell and Duomo view. Basic kitchen supplies provided. Great location for all access to the city. Francesco made check in and out very easy. Just note "laundry" means in town, not in the apartment. Francesco provided us with walking directions but it's expensive.

Location, Location, Location!!

Francesco's lovely one bedroom apartment is in a fabulous location near the Duomo and the main shopping streets. Many wonderful restaurants and cafes nearby. We were especially delighted with Francesco's warmth, hospitality and graciousness during our stay. My husband and I loved our stay at this lovely appartment. Francesco is a superb host and made sure our stay was comfortable and that we had everything we needed. The location of this apartment is perfect for Orvieto, you are right in the middle of town close to everything.The apartment is clean and modern. A very comfortable bed.As it's been mentioned in a few of the reviews, the bed room is up a flight of circular stairs, this was not a problem for us.The kitchen is stocked with enough items to make light meals.The coffee maker is a pod machine with a couple of pods left as a courtesy it's easy to purchase more in several of these small stores around town. But there are so many wonderful places to have an espresso or a cappuccino.One thing to note is the description does say laundry. And it's really the only reason that I gave the description rating four stars instead of five. The laundry it refers to is a coin laundry which is just a few minutes away which we did use. It is a bit expensive 6 euros to wash and six euros to dry. But we met some very nice local people there.Be sure to ask Francisco for restaurant recommendations, he gave us several and both of the ones that we went to were excellent.As with many small towns in Italy the more off the beaten track the restaurant is, generally the less expensive they are but in no way do they reduce the quality of the meals which have all been, as I said, excellent.I will not hesitate to stay here if we visit Orvieto again!

A beautiful and quaint apartment in the middle of Orvieto. Comes equipped with averything you need including an outdoor patio to sip the wine you picked up at the Enotecca. Francesco was easy to communicate with and close by if needed. Perfect for vouples!

Great location

This apartment is in an ideal location very close to the cathedral as well as the main shopping street. Also, because it is a bit tucked away, it is very quiet at night. The host communicated with us quickly and clearly, and even notified us ahead of time when a special religious festival was rescheduled to take place during our stay. There is a charming courtyard and clean, new furnishings. The cave-like interior has interesting exposed brick. A great place to stay in Orvieto!
