We had a lovely stay here. The hotel is in an ideal location — just a short walk to Lighthouse beach, and across the road from the bus station, and close to plenty of restaurants. There are also small supermarkets nearby, which was really convenient. Our room had AC, a kettle and mini-fridge, all working well, and the shower was excellent with very hot water. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.There’s a pool on site; we never saw anyone using it, but it was nice to have it available. I especially enjoyed sitting out on the balcony in the morning admiring the beautiful blossoms around the property. Overall, a very good value stay and we hope to return.

It's a nice hotel, with very spacious rooms/apartments. (I had one that had two bedrooms and three balconies, for just me.) It is showing its age, but -for the price- one can't do better. I don't think my rooms had AC, which is a problem in the hot climate of Pafos, but it was November and the breezes were good.

A horrible structure, no lift, but above all the stair lights did not work. They didn't help my wife get her suitcase up to the third floor. The air conditioning was not working well and there was plaster falling off in the rooms. I ran away from this bad place as soon as possible.

I did not stay at the hotel, because when I arrived, the reception told me that there were no empty rooms, so I told them that I had booked on the site and paid the costs of accommodation, and she told me that it was not her problem, but the problem of the site

We enjoyed our stay

The hotel was fully booked but they let us stay in another hotel next door. The receptionist was super nice to us. The location is very good, right off a main road full of restaurant and businesses.

Value for your money.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The apartment was spacious and clean. Everything worked - the apartment was warm and the water was warm. The beds were clean and comfortable. Overall a very nice surprise and a bargain for the price.

Mycket nedgånget!

Mycket nedgånget! Lägenheterna var nog jättefina för 20år sedan. Nu var det mesta trasigt, gult, nedgånget. ACn fungerade inte, mögel i kyl/frys, balkongdörren gick ej att låsa så grannen kunde lätt ha tagit sig in, knappt några eluttag, djur kom upp ur avloppet i badkaret, kranen i handfatet läckte, lamporna i trapphuset var som i en skräckfilm de flimrade. En del av personalen var trevliga. Som tur var hade vi endast bokat 2 nätter på detta hotell. Kommer aldrig bo här igen om de inte rustar upp. Lägenheterna var fina och det var hyffsat nära till en fin strand men allt var i så dåligt skick.

Complete shambles!

This place was literally like something in a war torn city. It was damp, dirty, dark - there were dirty mattresses in the hallways and stairwells - the stairwells were filthy. The fridge stank so much we didn’t use it. We booked in here for 5 hours because we had a late flight but it was so bad my husband wouldn’t stay in the room and so we walked round town all afternoon in the blazing sun to avoid being there. £50 for that was a complete joke! Staff were standing around smoking. Absolutely no redeeming features!

Would stay again

Spacious apartment but old furniture and fittings. Very comfortable bed, good shower pressure. Fridge & toaster oven but no kettle. Good breakfast buffet. Guy at reception was struggling to find my booking, then asked me to pay even though it was pre paid, I had to show him on his own paperwork it was prepaid, then he wanted to see the card I used and was baffled when he compared my card number with his booking number, I explained to him that card numbers aren't shown on paperwork for security reasons, felt like I checked myself in. He needs better training. However, the guy on front desk the following morning was excellent.

Из плюсов, пожалуй, только цена отеля и его расположение. Можно добраться пешком до набережной и автовокзала Каравелла. Из минусов: 1. Не работающий сливной бачок в номере. 2. Еле работающий кондиционер, а точнее это было больше похоже просто на систему вентиляции, которая еле справлялась со своей задачей 3. Электрочайник, у которого вилка стандарта C/F, которая конечно же не подходит в евро розетку типа G. Попили чайку называется. 4. Шумоизоляция отсутствует напрочь. Все звуки с коридора отчётливо слышно в номере. 5. Вода из кранов бежит рывками, то сильный, то слабый напор. А душ больше похож на контрастный, когда бежит тёплая-холодная-тёплая-хододная, в общем весело. 6. Устаревшая мебель. Но это не скажу, что прям сильный минус. Особо шатаний и скрипов по мебели не было замечено. Про некоторые минусы я читал в отзывах об отеле и осознанно его выбрал, в основном из-за цены и местоположения. Нужен был номер на одну ночь. Вторую ночь мы бы в нем уже не выдержали.

Apartment was quite dated, dining chairs were literally threadbare. Sofa discoloured and worn. Kettle had a European plug but wall sockets were U.K. 3-pin, necessitating getting an adaptor from reception (€5 deposit). “Hairdryer available” in description, needed €10 deposit, and lead had an extension joined with a screw block bound with electrical tape. Air-con unit in bedroom had no front cover. Decor quite shabby with mould in bathroom. Shower was good with plenty of hot water. Booking stated “courtyard view”, which was actually overlooking a side road between our building and a residential block next door.

If you just care about Location

There were positive and negatives about this trip. The rooms were very outdated which would have been ok if everything was clean and working properly. Staff at the front desk when we arrived were good but we had a hard time getting in contact with them before our visit to tell them we would be checking in late. It is like they do not answer their telephones there. The rooms are not soundproof. We had a room that overlooked the pool which was nice but in the evening when we wanted to sleep all we could hear was the sound of the people in the bar. No dish soap was provided to clean your plates or cups so nothing was clean in the drawers or cupboards. When you travel you shouldn’t have to bring dish soap with you. Also housekeeping will just come into your room without knocking or ringing the bell which I found a major invasion of privacy when I was still in bed and they just walked into my room. 😡. When they did come they only took the garbage. Also for anyone with little children who are thinking about getting a crib for €5 a night, there was a crib in the hallway the entire time we were there that was disgustingly dirty and I would never allow my child to sleep in it. Location is the best thing this hotel has going for it.

Hotel location is good which is the plus, room fittings like wardrobe, kitchen lack of cooking utensils available utensils was so poor. Have 5 days visit second week in March which is still chilly in morning and evening but no hot water. Some staff are rude. They try to sweeten us by giving two free breakfast. Until we check out cold water is still one issue and pay the rest of our breakfast. Perhaps needs training for customer relations.

Comfortable and good value.

Very good value for money , friendly staff and nice big comfortable rooms. Nice bed. Brand new cooker now with halogen hob.

Great hotel in a great location. We only stayed one night but would definitely stay there again. Spacious rooms, kitchenette and a nice pool just a short walk away from the center of Paphos.

Nice sized rooms and fairly clean but quite shabby. I lick of paint and some decent furniture wouldn’t go amiss but if you are on a tight budget they are good value for money.

We arrived on the first night and they told us they had overbooked and had no room for us. With very little apology they sent us to a 2* awful place down the road which neither felt safe or sanitary. Refused to refund for the night we never stayed!! Offered us free breakfast but the place was full of cockroaches so this felt more of a punishment than an apology. There were cockroaches in the rooms to which staff just shrugged and said there’s loads all over Cyprus so nothing they can do about it?!!!? No hot water, again to which the staff did absolutely nothing. I explained that I was there for work so I needed to be able to shower...but all they did was say “well it should be working” and then just ignored me. The doors to the balconies do not lock either. This wasn’t too bad for me as I was up on the first floor but I was speaking to another poor lady who was staying there and she was on the ground floor so you can imagine was not too thrilled to not be able to lock her doors...! It was an absolutely shocking stay from start to finish, and put me off ever wanting to step foot in Cyprus again If that is the level of customer service and the “expected” cleanliness of the entire island!! I cannot urge people enough NOT to stay here if they are looking for a relaxing or peaceful getaway. Appalling in every aspect, how they are even still open for business is beyond me. Please do not ruin your holiday by subjecting yourself to this place.
