L'Explorer est un studio spacieux avec un lit queen et un lit simple portable, une kitchenette bien équipée et 3/4 bain privé. Il est entièrement meublé avec des meubles confortables, de nouveaux petits appareils et une cheminée électrique.

Toutes les Suites Acanthus peuvent être louées pour différentes tailles de groupes!

Une partie des suites Acanthus qui est l'une des premières maisons historiques importantes de Friday Harbor. Construit en 1913, c'était un cadeau de mariage pour la fille d'un riche marchand. Il a été magnifiquement restauré. Situé dans le centre-ville historique Friday Harbor; seulement 3 pâtés de maisons du quai des ferries et Port de Friday Harbor.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed the suite very much, and appreciated its atmosphere. Very convenient so close to the heart Friday Harbor. And we absolutely loved the charm of the suite.The only inconvenient aspect is the combination kitchen/bathroom sink which is awkward - even if we understand that the remodel of an older house led to the final design.

Perfect Spot!

I couldn’t be more happy with my stay. This place was quiet and quaint and an easy walk to everything in Friday Harbor, from coffee to the local brewery to whale watching tours.

Very cozy, charming, close to town. Just perfect for the 2 of us. Could have used a small hotplate, but got along fine with just the microwave.

Great place. Great location. Super easy to walk to everything in Friday Harbor. Super easy to drive to everywhere on the island. Could’ve been a bit better stocked. Coffee mugs to go with the coffee maker?!? Also, smelled like mothballs when we arrived. So, some candles or incense could’ve helped. But, first world problems. We aired it out and it was fine. Would stay here again.

Friday Harbor on Argyle Street

It was such a charming place to stay. We loved that it was built so long ago with the beautiful wood furnishing. We especislly loved the picture of the kids and enjoyed thinking about what life was like for them back then. We loved our stay!

What a gorgeous house!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First of all, this house must have been stunning before it was "cut up" into rentals. That being said, the remodel work is amazing with lots of care being taken to keep the feel of this home. Secondly, the place was immaculately clean. Also, the mattress was just right! Easy to find in the dark coming off the ferry; a short walk into town. A wonderful jumping off place for SJI, but also for the other islands if you want to check them out. One note: the kitchenette doesn't have a stove/burner, just a microwave, so if you plan on cooking The Explorer might not be for you.

Friday Harbor Stay in Explorer Suite

The place was perfectly located for ease in walking downtown where food, beverages and shopping awaits! The manager was easy to chat with, as needed. I think the Pandemic cleaning is overstated.

Great location, but house is older and quirky

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is in a great location. You are literally 1 min from town. We enjoyed our stay overall. However we originally booked a room with a separate bedroom away from the living room. We have a young son that goes to bed early. Our original unit needed maintenance, and we were moved to a larger unit, but it didn’t have a separate room. It defeated the purpose of my original booking. The space’s heater takes a long time to warm up the room. Although it did eventually.San Juan accommodations are painfully expensive for what you get out of it. Overall, we enjoyed our weekend in San Juan!

Winter vacation

This location is nice and convenient. Walking distance to everything in Friday Harbor, and a quick drive to anywhere we needed to go. Will stay here again.

Luxury and Location

This quiet, spacious and lovely furnished craftsman suite is within walking distance of downtown. Refrigerator, microwave and sink may it possible to have light breakfast and coffee in bed. A super getaway.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a great location and lovely property with easy walking distance to downtown and plenty of parking. The bathroom door did not close completely, which was a minor issue with a teenager... loved the decor of the Explorer Suite. We wore worried about no AC, but the weather was perfect in July so didn't need AC. Fans were provided, which was nice. I would definitely recommend this property to others.

Great spot!

Great location - made for an easy walk to downtown even with all our luggage. Though, the bed left something to be desired. Was not the most comfortable. Also, we felt a little rushed out. The property manager walked in on us an hour before our checkout time. However, the deals with kayaking, whale watching, and the proximity to town made for an overall enjoyable stay. But, we may look elsewhere next time we come to Friday Harbor.
