La Suite de l'artiste est un charmant studio de chambre au rez-de-chaussée 2, avec un lit queen, salle de bain complète, une kitchenette et un coin salon. Cette suite est meublée avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin, y compris une cheminée au propane romantique.

Le Carter House est l'une des premières maisons historiques importantes de Friday Harbor. Construit en 1911, il était un cadeau de mariage pour une fille riche marchands. Il a été magnifiquement restauré. Situé dans le centre-ville historique de Friday Harbor, il se trouve à seulement 3 pâtés de maisons du quai des ferries et du port de Friday Harbor.

Location, LOCATION!

Great location and cute property in a well remodeled historic building. To make it 5+, adding Wi-Fi and a handheld attachment in the little shower would do the trick.

Short stay

The suite met my basic needs for my short stay (2 nights). I found the unit sparse of comforts. A comfortable chair with a reading lamp would have been a nice touch. With summers getting hotter, an air conditioning unit would be a plus. The road noise, at times, was quite distracting. Great location to Friday Harbor. And my compliments on the bathroom remodel.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We chose this property to make the most of a short stay in Friday Harbor, and it delivered. We were able to walk to our whale watch, kayak trip and all restaurants. The suite is clean with a nice breakfast area and very comfortable bed. The kitchen is limited - no stove - so don't plan to cook full meals.

Great location for a couple

Location is within easy walking distance of downtown. Parking on property was a nice perk. This is a downstairs unit, with a long-term renter upstairs. We lucked out in that the upstairs renter was quiet. Had they not been, it would have greatly affected our stay, as we could hear footsteps and movement easily. Would have loved a larger tv. Only real drawback to the property is the lack of a stove/oven.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was great, and we were even able to check in early, much appreciated. The only two suggestions I would offer are, most importantly, as people are renting for a place to spend the night, the bed should be comfortable. This bed is terribly uncomfortable, the mattress must be 20 years old. Please get a new mattress, it would make all the difference in your guest’s experience. Secondly, there is no towel or bath mat for outside the shower.

5 perfect days

We stayed for 5 amazing days in this home. The location was perfect for all our walking needs downtown. No need fo stress over parking! The home was clean and had everything we needed, even a scrubber to wash our dishes. We will be staying here again next summer!

A great place to stay!

It was very nice staying at the Artist's Suite. We were there for the weekend and this place was very close to down town. We ended up walking whenever we wanted to do something. The parking spot does have some big rocks around it (part of the retaining wall design) and made parking my box truck a little tricky. I ended up just parking on the street and it was fine. Minus 1 star because I found several hairs in the bed before getting in. I am sure it was clean but this is really my only phobia. If I could give a bonus star for the management company, they were great. Emailed the directions for entry several times and even called after I hadn't checked in yet to make sure I didn't need anything. A very positive stay overall!

visiting an old friend

Came to San Juan after not being to the islands in at least 15 years. Purpose was to visit a fried that had moved to the island about 5 years ago. A treat to come to the island of San Juan and visit our friend. Artist Suite VRBO is an excellent location for walking downtown but being away from some of the noise and activity when you want.

Cute convenient and uncomfortable.

Great location, good size, but the heater wouldn't turn off so we couldn't sleep well. Fans and open windows couldn't keeo up vs the heater. The pillows were also very stiff and uncomfortable.

The Best!

A cute, quiet retreat located in town but far enough away from all the hustle and bustle. Easy communication with management, easy accessibility, and lots of amenities to make your stay comfy! Highly recommend!
