Harbor View Condo au coeur de Friday Harbor! - (Suite Blue Water)

Blue Water Suite est situé à quelques pas du Friday Harbor Ferry Landing, la suite Blue Water fraîchement mis à jour est parfaitement situé pour cette escapade décontractée. Laissez votre voiture derrière et marchez sur le ferry, volez sur Kenmore Air, ou arrivez en bateau privé!

Comme son nom l'indique, la Blue Water Suite est située juste au-dessus du bar et grill Blue Water et offre un accès facile aux boutiques, aux restaurants et est idéalement située pour l'observation des baleines et les destinations de départ en kayak. La suite offre une vue directe sur le terminal de ferry et le port de plaisance de Friday Harbor.

La cuisine est entièrement équipée avec cuisinière, micro-ondes et réfrigérateur (mais pas de lave-vaisselle). Le salon est meublé avec une grande télévision à écran plat avec service satellite ainsi qu'un canapé-lit. La chambre dispose d'un lit king size et d'une télévision à écran plat séparée.

La salle de bain est joliment carrelée avec une grande baignoire. La baignoire a un pulvérisateur d'extension au lieu d'une pomme de douche. Il y a aussi une laveuse et une sécheuse pour ceux qui ont un séjour prolongé.

Veuillez noter qu'il n'y a pas de parking désigné - les lois sur le stationnement en ville s'appliquent.

The location is right in the center of town and that’s the good part and the bad part. When the ferry comes in at 5 AM and 40 big rigs are unloaded you can hear every sound. The unit has everything you need except an air conditioner it is really hot at night. Beware of the shower it’s a hose connected into a Jacuzzi tub, which requires you to step over a 15 inch ledge.The description on the website says there are 10 steps leading up to the unit that is incorrect. There are two sets of 10 steps leading up to the unit.

Great time!

It was the perfect place to stay for the 3 of us. It was unfortunately 80+ degrees which made the apartment 100. Recommend bringing an iPad or computer if you want to stream anything at night, as the tvs don’t have streaming capabilities and the town shuts down early but they do provide cable! Great space, bathtub and kitchen. Amazing views!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I had a wonderful girls trip with me and my roomate for a few days and got the pleasure of exploring San Juan! This rental was in a wonderful location, and was really nice on the inside! We were blown away when we walked into a quaint and adorable place to stay. At the end of a long day of adventuring we were excited to watch tv, cook in the kitchen, and sleep in the big bed! Our only complaint is the shower was challenging to use and often leaked no matter how precocious we were. Overall loved staying here, thank you for a great time!

Best view ever

So I love the location and I really like this condo. There's a few little things that can be fixed like the sink and maybe new furniture. Furniture now is pretty worn out. The hideaway bed is terrible. But overall I stay there every time I go to the island.

So Much Fun

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay as the place was clean and spacious. We could not ask for a better location for strolling around town and discovering the island. We found ourselves ferry watching out the windows, OMG have we become our grandparents?? The only issue, and it is a real issue, what is the lack of a reliable Internet connection.

Great Central Location! Walking distance to Everything!

It was our anniversary trip and Harbor View was a great location for us to walk to everything in Friday Harbor. Time of year was perfect so no AC was needed. It was quite loud every morning with ferry horns and just outside traffic. Construction right outside with big trucks really early in the morning so that was a negative. One thing I would suggest is some nicer bedding, down comforter and better sheets? It was a spacious unit with lots of seating. Overall we had a great experience and would come back!

Great Location but Noisy and Smelly

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Blue Water suite was well located but smelled like fried food and the location was exceptionally noisy above a bar with a live band and trucks coming off the ferry at 5:30. This may have been obvious to people familiar with Friday Harbor but to someone who isn't familiar, that information should have been made clear.

We apologize if the description of the Blue Water Suite did not make it clear the Suite is right above the Blue Water Bar & Grill restaurant as well as next to the Ferry Landing. We do our best to describe our rental properties as accurately as possible. As described, this Suite is very handy for those looking to stay in the heart of downtown Friday Harbor and have the Ferry, shopping, activities, and restaurants within walking distance. Being in that close of proximity to the restaurants and the main Port will have some downsides. We are sorry your stay at the Blue Water Suite was unsatisfactory.

Great location, some maintenance needed.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is wonderful. The views are great. But there are some small issues: the couches are worn out and have no support; they're very uncomfortable. Also, a number of the handles/locks on the windows simply fell off when we used them. The blade on one of the steak knives broke off when we used it. So, some minor upkeep is needed. But, given the wonderful location and great views, we were able to look past these issues.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the experience was awesome. The location and owner, could not ask for better. There was dried food on the bedspread in multiple places (hopefully it was food) so we took it off. The bathtub was really dirty and so we scrubbed it before use and sadly the tub faucet had been removed so it took 3 hours to fill the tub with water. Which by then the water was cold. The tub was the only reason we chose the location. That was a huge disappointment. For the price I am not sure we would stay again unless the tub was fixed but we enjoyed the island and the hospitality of the blue water bar and grill.

We are very apologetic about the issues you faced during your stay. We will certainly touch base with our cleaning staff about the bed spread and the bathtub. Unfortunately the faucet issue has not been a simple fix, due to the fact that this is a historic building and requires special tools and parts. We are very sorry the tub was not up to par for your stay at the Blue Water Suite. We can assure you we are working towards the resolve of the bathroom faucet so our guests may use the faucet and not just the removable shower-head to fill the tub.

No Internet, despite saying so in the listing

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There's no internet here. I don't know why it's on the listing. Their instructions also said to place dishes in the dishwasher...there's no dishwasher either. Oh, and the hairdryer is broken. They do, for some reason, spend money on Direct TV. So that's good if you want to pretend like it's 2001. Apparently it's really hard to get internet on the island. Which is fine, but stop lying about it. It's in a good location, though.

Friday Harbor Retreat

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location and gorgeous views would almost bring us back if it weren't for the restaurant smells that accosted us every time we entered the space. Old oil in the fryer isn't what I care to experience. The other issue was a dysfunctional shower. The shower head had to be held by a hand after climbing over a very high-sided spa, a shower curtain that wouldn't stay in place, and lack of hot water. The mirror isn't over the sink where it's needed, but rather over the toilet. It doesn't seem quite right brushing teeth and applying makeup over the toilet. The bathroom was like a Handyman's Nightmare. We loved the ceilings and the space in general. It was an interesting and comical experience, with some good points, too. Such a pretty view! Thanks

We're also sorry the shower did not work effectively for you. We've not received reports as of recent that the showerhead holder did not work or that the hot water was lacking, and we apologize.
