Water view - Perfect location - Modern cottage in Niagara region
Welcome to Niagara on the Lake.
114 Lockhart is a fantastic place to stay in the Niagara region. It is only a few feet from Queen Street, the heart of this lovely town. You can easily go shopping and eat, while also enjoying a quiet and comfortable stay in a tourist area.
You have two bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with a full bed. When you stay here, you will be more comfortable because there are two bathrooms and one of them has a jetted tub. You can watch television while cooking and eating in the living room, as well as reading or thinking in the family room. The hot tub in the backyard is operational year-round; have fun with your family.
Brand new renovation makes this home a modern style in the historic town. All of the furniture, decorations, and household items are brand new. You can enjoy a beautiful view of the water while chatting with your family on the porch, sitting in the living room, or lying in bed. The Niagara River flows into the Ontario Lake in front of your house. You can see Youngstown in the United States and downtown Toronto from the river.
The Niagara Sailing Club is located beside your home. If you enjoy sailing, join them.
Lovely spacious home right at the water, a short walk from the heart of town. Well equipped kitchen. A/C worked great, which was a life saver in the heatwave!
The house was beautiful and in a great location! Within walking distance of the Main Street for shopping and dining. Close to the lake for a nice walk along the water
This property was beautiful, clean, had everything we needed, and in a great location. Close to the falls and lots of wineries. Definitely would return.
Clean and comfortable house; tasteful contemporary design inside with a lovely front porch. AC saved us during a heat wave. Hot tub a treat. Well equipped kitchen for basic cooking with possibly the sharpest knives any of us had ever used in a rental (hurrah!). Location is excellent: view of the river and right by the lake. Very quiet. Easy walk to town. We worked at the living room table, then visited some of the nearby wineries. Highly recommended.
Visited Niagara-on-the Lake for a mini vacation the week following Easter. The Vrbo residence where we stayed had a view of the Niagara River and was very close to the center of town where most of the commerce was. It was obvious that the residence had been recently upgraded throughout. The property was spotless and very comfortable. I would definitely consider staying there again.
Just stayed at the Lake View Cottage in Niagara-On-The-Lake with another couple. The location is very convenient and close to the main street and restaurants and shopping. The place is clean and the owner isvery responsive. Loved the proximity to the water. I would recommend this place to others.
Beautiful interiors, new and pristine, and well thought out. 10 minute walk to Queen Street (the main street in NOTL) through lovely neighbourhoods.
View of the river and Fort George on the U.S. side.
Just loved this place!
This is simply a great place to stay in Niagara-on-the-Lake. I've given some objective facts below, but the upshot is that this is a newly renovated cottage that is clean, bright, airy, and very well-equipped. It is also convenient to the town's theatres, shopping, and restaurants. This rental is maybe 100 metres or so from the Niagara River and perhaps a 10-minute walk to the old town and theatres through attractive residential neighborhoods. The house comes with a parking spot (or possibly two), which is a definite plus in a town where parking is at a premium. The house itself appears to be either two cottages that were joined or one that had a large addition. Whatever the original structure was, it has been completely renovated inside. There is a large common area with a living room style section and very modern kitchen. Everything is clean, white, and bright.Upstairs is a master suite of sorts. It has its own small bathroom with a larger tub in the bedroom itself. It's a little quirky, but the space is very large. If you don't like the tub, there is a shower/bath downstairs, as well as another smaller bedroom. The home has a washer and dryer. There is a jacuzzi out back we did not try. There were lots of nice, quality touches throughout.Book here before everyone else discovers it.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! This has to be one of the most beautiful vacation homes we've ever stayed in. Appreciated the overall cleaniless, organization of every drawer and cupboard, stash of coffee pods, and use of awesome Hottub. Thank you!
Such a very well-appointed rental. Design and amenities were too notch and the communication couldn't have been better. Totally made our 10th anniversary one to remember
The house was the perfect place to stay for our family while we visited Niagara Falls. Very clean, modern with all the amenities you could need. We enjoyed the location as well as being able easily walk to down town or along the river front. The King mattress was very comfortable, one of the best night sleeps weâve had in a vacation house! Highly recommend the house to anyone looking to stay in the area.
We loved our stay in this cottage along the river. First, I must say the place was extremely clean and very nice! We could not have asked for better accommodations. Alan was very easy to reach for the few questions we had. He responds quickly. We also loved the great location being right along the river with a park just across the street. It was beautiful and relaxing. We easily walked several blocks to get to the center of town where we enjoyed shopping and dining. Along the walk, there were even more beautiful parks to enjoy. We did not ride bikes while there but look forward to a return visit at some point. There were great trails all around the area that we would like to explore on bicycles. Overall, I highly recommend this house. You will not be disappointed.
