Our stay was wonderful. The house is about a 5 minute walk from all the amenities on Queen Street, but extremely quiet and tucked away.Would highly recommend both the house and the area. Looking forward to visiting again.
It is a perfect location and thereâs something really calming and relaxing about the property despite being so close to everything. For such an old house itâs very well maintained and comfortable.
We loved everything about this house and the community. Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and furnished in 19th century antiques, just one block from Queen Street and 2 blocks from the waterfront and bike trail access. Wish we lived closer so we could return frequently!
We enjoyed our 5-night stay in the beautifully restored Alexander McKee House. The attention to historical detail is truly remarkable. If you close your eyes when the horse-drawn carriages go by, you could almost imagine yourself transported back to 1835. Highly recommend!
Sindyâs place was the perfect location to all the shops, parks, restaurants and water. We never had to use the car at all! The Alexander McKee house is a beautiful historical home that took us back in time. We had everything we needed to enjoy our time there. Stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and furnishings and a gorgeous porch and patio surrounded by lush plants and flowers. We canât say enough good things about Sindyâs place and will definitely be back next year!
Clean comfortable and so fun to stay in a historical cottage we played board games and enjoyed our family time together better than being in a hotel room
This charming, cozy house is in the perfect location to walk to theaters and restaurants in downtown. Sindy was a wonderful host, very attentive and responsive. We will definitely stay here again!
Great location, historic charm and the owners were easy to work with! My wife and I along with our 3 month old had a great stay at this property. Walking distance to everything and spacious bedrooms made all the difference for us. We will defintely be back!
Great allocation just off king st, . Small and quaint cottage feel, everything for a great stay available. Owner was wonderful to deal with, and very easy to check in and out.
Perfect location with a short walk to town. The house was charmingly decorated to reflect the period. Check-in was smooth, very clean, host communication was great. I would definitely stay there again.
This cottage is in a fabulous location! Walk to town and theatres. Very historial and cozy. The steep stairs to the upstairs 2 bedrooms may not be ideal for guests with a mobiliy issue. The bedrooms are large and cozy. Enjoyed our stay and hope to return. Sindy is a fabulous host!
