We liked being close to amenities and the supplies provided. The elevator was handy, but it closed quickly trapping us in it and causing injuries and bruises.
We loved our 18-day stay here! The location was quiet and residential, leading to good nightsâ rests for the whole family. Plenty of places to explore and patronize nearby, with a convenient train to Shinjuku for all transfer needs. The only downside was no dryer but you can hang your laundry outside on a sunny day or utilize the nearby laundromat. Overall, we enjoyed seeing a quieter side of Tokyo and would consider staying here again in the future!
The location was perfect, family mart and 7-11 and a park for our kids close by. It was an easy 6-minute walk to Kamikitazawa station. Which was 15 min train ride to Shinjuku so easy to get pretty much anywhere. The unit was easy to access, and had everything we needed. The washing machine worked great. We did not use the burner but the rest of the kitchen was good for making simple meals or snacks. The shower worked great once we figured out how to activate the hot water. The road noise is pretty loud at times but the host provided ear plugs which were the perfect solution. The beds were a bit too firm for my liking but still comfortable. We would absolutely stay there again
Location was great. Furniture was in poor condition. Two chairs were unstable. Bunkbeds were small and shakey. One bunkbed was broken in 3 places and held together with tape. The taped part came apart again while sitting on it. Two of us slept on the floor futon rather than risk the bunkbed. We reported this to the owner who said it would be fixed after we left. I have attached pictures.
We had a great stay here. It is not on a Tokyo metro line but it is close to a private train line. Not hard to find but we didn't get any directions to the property so we got a bit lost on the first day.The bed frames are not screwed together properly so I had to purchase some screws and a screw driver to make sure the beds don't collapse.Other than that the unit was nice and we fit 4 people with no issues.
