Check in is always smooth, everything we needed was provided. We did bring our own air fryer and coffee pods. The host are amazing, easy to connect with and always making it feel like home for us. This is our second visit and we will be back!

Steps to Grand Bend main beach

Very nice property. Well appointed with everything that you need. Clean and comfortable. The big deck faces west so you get lots of sun in the evening. Less than five minute walk to the main beach or the strip with shops, bars, etc. Communication with the owner was very clear and quick. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to be near the beach!

Delightful Stay

A very lovely cottage and stay. The host was very very responsive and made sure we had a nice stay. We loved the hot tub! So close to the beach, we wished we had gone during beach weather! We enjoyed a quiet, relaxing week. Both my sister and I remarked that we had never stayed anywhere with such a fully stocked kitchen! We were able to cook anything!

Park your car for the week! So close to the beach and main strip. Very well kept cottage. Katherine has provided all the comforts of home. We will be making this a yearly visit.

The recently renovated home was clean. The path to the beach is exactly opposite the house. Katharine had a welcome gift for us - which was a really thoughtful gesture. We did not use the hot tub as we had 23 C sunny weather and the lake was great at this time of the year. But it can be very useful when the temp drops a bit.The deck has a BBQ, a patio table and wrap around couches.Highly recommended and hope to return next year.If you’re bringing dogs, the nearby Pinery Provincial Park has two dog beaches.

Very nice property and the location can’t be beat. The lovely, large front deck looks directly down a walkway to the beach, where there is a playground and a water park which our young grandchildren loved. Even though we were right across from a main beach access, the street that runs in front of the property is relatively quiet as the neighbourhood roads are designed to discourage car traffic. We were also only a block from the main street with shops, restaurants and amusements. I don’t think we used our car except for a couple of forays to Pinery Provincial Park. We also enjoyed the property’s amenities and cooked in nearly every dinner during our week long stay. The hot tub is large and set in a nice private area just outside the back door. The cottage has been nicely renovated with plenty of kitchen counter space. The home is designed for maximum use of the space and is quite comfortable. We had four adults and two young children staying for a week and it was quite comfortable, even on a rainy day when we were all inside.We very much enjoyed our stay here and appreciated how responsive the owners were to any questions we had. If you love being able to watch great sunsets on the beach, strolling the boardwalk after dinner, or browsing in the many shops without having to drive, this is the place for you!

Great location, very thoughtful host

The house is a cottage-style building that has been thoughtfully renovated to ensure a pleasant and care-free stay. The bedrooms are a little small to make more space for the common areas, and I think that was a good design choice. The host has clearly put a lot of care into ensuring that her guests enjoy the stay, providing extras like beach chairs, beach towels, books and a wagon to move it all. We overpacked - all we really needed to bring was clothing, a toothbrush, soap and shampoo. Everything aside from one bedroom is on the main floor, so older folks will have no trouble, as they never need to climb stairs. The house is situated directly in front of a walkway to the beach, again great for older folks with limited mobility. They will have to walk up and down a short hill, but it did not pose a problem for any of us. The hot tub is a nice 7-person model. There are night lights and a small privacy screen to make it usable after dark. It was spotlessly clean and an absolute delight after a harrowing day of swimming and relaxing at the beach. The house rules are very reasonable and communication from the host was clear and complete. We enjoyed our stay very much and would happily recommend it to anybody.
