We didnât spend much time at the property because we have a place in the area. It was used to sleep when we had other family in town. But it was very cute. Enjoyed time in the recliners taking in the view. I can see it being a wonderful and easy place to cook and such if you were staying longer. Communications with Steve were smooth and easy, very grateful! We would definitely recommend for a cozy get away.
We had a wonderful winter getaway at Eagleâs Nest! The cabin is cute and well stocked and the views are amazing! Steve was so gracious and welcoming and we will be back again for sure!
It was such a cute little cabin, with a breath taking view. I looked forward to waking up and just enjoying the view. The place was clean and had everything we needed. Definitely would stay there again.
Planned this for the wifeâs birthday and had an amazing time looking around town and driving around the area and looking at the mountain ranges and rivers. Will definitely be coming back to the visit the area again!
My Wife and i loved this cabin. It is very cozy and comfortable. The bed is amazing. He has a very nice dvd and book collection. The views from the deck were beautiful. We will definitely come back
Amazing river and mountain views in a cozy recliner
We loved our stay. Nice weekend winter getaway. Small but highly functional cabin. We had fun with the sled. The recliners facing the mountains and river made for a perfect coffee spot.
This cabin was exactly what we needed for our little weekend getaway. Cozy, clean, really comfortable bed, private, conveniently located and I can't EVEN with how incredible the view was. *Extra Bonus: There was the sweetest dog "Charlie" greet us on the porch upon our arrival, my heart practially melted!
With a busy life, it was a much needed reprieve. The view was breathtaking, and the cabin was warm and cozy. Steve is an amazing host whoâs informative and helpful. Will definitely be booking again sometime!
What all have shared is true...the deck, amazing views, privacy, close to the bustle of Leavenworth, AND close to the peace of the forest. Sadly, the grill did not work very well...bummer.
Was cool that the host had up a Christmas tree and lights. Thankful he had a snow shovel on the deck because it snowed over a foot the first night staying there and had to dig myself out.
Thanks Steve!
My husband & I had a great stay here over the Thanksgiving weekend. We were interested in an affordable place to stay near Leavenworth so we could check out the holiday events but also wanted to enjoy the beautiful surrounding area & scenery and this was PERFECT. It had everything we needed. We loved waking up to the views over the Wenatchee River and enjoyed some walks in the very quiet and peaceful "neighborhood" :) This would be a lovely spot in the warmer months, too & we hope to return. Thanks Steve!
This tiny little cabin was perfect for my husband and I. It's nothing fancy, but that wasn't what we were looking for. Having our morning coffee on the deck with THAT VIEW really set the tone for each day spent there. We saw lots of wildlife in the area. The drive to Leavenworth was nice. A word of advice to future guests: visit Plain Hardware early in your trip! They gave us great tips on hiking trails, places to eat, and river access.
we usually stay in Leavenworth but this time we decided to venture out and try something different. The little hamlet of Plain was wonderful! we didn't even know it existed! so quaint. But at the end of the day we looked forward to going back the cabin and just sitting on the deck as the sun went down with a glass of wine from the local winery.
We already booked our next trip!
This is our second stay at Eagle's Nest cabin, and we love it a lot. The view is spectacular and you are a short walk to the river. The store is very close in Plain, and a little longer drive to Leavenworth, which has a great natural grocery store (and lots of restaurants of course).
We rented the cabin to stay around the 4th of July because our dog can't handle the fireworks in our area. Pearl was very happy with the quiet and lack of explosions.
Steve is a great host and very quick to answer any questions you may have. Thanks for another great stay!
Very cozy! The only negatives I can think of is the lip on the floor in the kitchen. It rises up just enough to trip over and the angle of the stairs going up to the bathroom. I slipped off the narrow part of the stair a couple times. I know thereâs probably nothing that can be done about it, but thatâs all I can really think of. Would definitely think of coming back!
Youâll never want to leave! Quaint cabin like home nestled in the trees overlooking the Wenatchee River with pretty much everything you could need. Very clean with comfortable bedding & furniture. Kitchen might be small but the owner uses every nook & cranky to ensure it is stocked with all the necessary items & a generous amount of coffee with creamer! WiFi worked great & while there were a plethora of dvdâs to choose from we opted to unplug & enjoy the patio/views & some games. Plain has a great little grocery store with yummy ice cream (huge portions!) & the Old Mill Cafe was delicious if you donât want to cook breakfast or lunch. Leavenworth was a short trip away which made for a great activity, but it was nice to come back & get away from the busy hustle & bustle! Steve was really great & easy to communicate with. We will be back!
My husband and I found the Eagle's Nest cabin to be the perfect spot for our anniversary get-away weekend to Leavenworth. We prefer to be away from the crowds and center of town and loved the location. The cabin is in a beautiful neighborhood very close to Plain and about a 20 minute drive into Leavenworth. Very close to Mountain Springs Lodge where you can enjoy snowmobiling and horse drawn sleigh rides in winter. The grocery store and Oak Mill Cafe in Plain are 5 minutes away. The cabin is super sweet and romantic and has everything you need. The views from the deck are stunning. We loved sitting in the recliners taking it all in. Our host Steve was very responsive and accommodating as we had to postpone this trip from December and it was not an issue at all. Thanks for everything Steve :)
We loved our stay and only have a couple suggestions for anyone staying here.Bring a flashlight,we flipped a breaker and the box is outside so it is really dark and you need a flashlight.Bring wine glasses, there are great places to taste wine and we brought some back but no wine glasses.I am just silly but I don't like to drink wine in plastic cups and lastly if you cook bring refrig. containers.I cook and had leftovers but no containers or foil. This was a great place and we look forward to returning.
