Luxe family and pet friendly chalet in private, forested setting

(Chelan County Permit # 000271) This 3 bedroom 2 bathroom chalet is cozily situated in the mountain community of Chiwawa River Pines, just 25 minutes from both Stevens Pass and the Bavarian village of Leavenworth. It’s a few miles from Fish Lake, Lake Wenatchee State Park, and Kahler Glenn Golf Course.

“Forest Haven” is nestled in a picturesque setting among the pine and fir trees. The chalet is appointed with a wall of windows in the great room, exposing you to territorial views. The main floor living area is open-concept with two cozy couches on either side of the gas fireplace. A 55" Smart TV with Bluetooth soundbar are available for your entertainment desires. A large chef’s kitchen with breakfast bar overlooks the living space, the dining table has seating for 8.

Both sides of the great room open to a large covered outdoor wrap-around deck, which includes comfy outdoor seating, a dining table for al fresco meals, and a gas BBQ grill.

In the wooded area, you’ll find a king-sized fire-pit appointed with comfy seating and smores' roasters for revelers big and small to enjoy a traditional gathering by the camp-fire. The back yard has a swing set, walking trail, and grass lawn.

The master bedroom is fitted with a queen bed and flat-screen TV on the main floor, along with a large soaking tub and shower nozzle in the downstairs bathroom. Upstairs has a separate office space in the "work-loft," bathroom with walk-in shower, and two additional bedrooms: one with a queen bed and dedicated working space, and the other with a low bunk bed and twin daybed.

Year round, “Forest Haven” welcomes you home while exploring and experiencing our beautiful area. Fiber optic internet means everyone can work, or play, online without bandwidth worries. The plethora of games and books, and outdoor spaces to enjoy beckon you to get off devices and unplug.

Very nice place. Kitchen was well stocked. Very quiet and peaceful. We loved the fire pit. The kids enjoyed roasting hotdogs and making smores.

End of the Adventure

We stayed for two nights after we had spent 11nights camping. Needless to say, the clean home was just what we needed. The beds were all comfortable, it was clean, the neighborhood quiet, and with 6 kids, the games and toys were appreciated.

We had such e relaxing time coming back to this home each day after vending at a local event. The home & property were wonderful and everything was well thought of and informative for new guest. Our two year old granddaughter loved the doll house and books along with walks on the little nature trail on the property. We will definitely return. Thank you!

Family Time

Beautiful, fully equipped home in the woods. Grandsons are 16 and 21 so family vacations will be changing. Burn ban, so no fires but we brought our corn hole game and had a great competition! Perfect place for a family get together. Hope to come back!

It was our second time here and as previously we appreciate every minute spent on the property. The house is till in a great shape and very well maintained. We didn't have a chance to enjoy a beautiful fireplace since it was out of order but it's not a big deal.

Amazing communication and beautiful property

Our best experience yet in all of our years renting in chiwawa river pines. Exceptional communication, flexibility, generosity and kindness. Home was lovely and clean. Amenities were perfect in the home and out. Snowmobiling trails were so close by, excellent neighbors, snow showing, cross country skiing down the road and so much more. Thank you for being amazing hosts and for the comfortable place to land and call home for the week. We will be back!

COZY GETAWAY

This house was so cozy and a perfect place to stay during the winter time. There was a lot of snow but the roads to the house were clear and easy to find! It is about 30 minutes away from Leavenworth. There is a grocery store 10 minutes down the road. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet and it felt safe. The house is stocked up with A LOT of games, blankets, towels, and cooking supplies. The bed was a little dirty but other than that, we would definitely come back to this house. 10/10 recommend!

Perfect home for me and my dog

The home is lovely. Comfortable furniture, very well supplied kitchen, which is always important, nice appliances. Raminta was very quick in responding to any messages. The property surrounding the home is very nice. How wonderful that they have a green lawn and blooming flowers! I loved seeing the momma turkey and her babies grazing on the property! We found 2 perfect, easy hikes just 5 minutes from the house! Hint: In the All Trails app they are shown as cross-country, snowshoe or snowmobile trails. They are right across the road from each other, one with a river view. Thank you for the wonderful vacation!

Wish we could have stayed longer. Just a short drive to the Wenatchee state park to kayak in the lake. Beautiful property- had everything from a bench in the bathroom for my elderly mother and highchair for the infant. Literally everything we needed for our stay

Very comfortable and nice cabin

We really enjoyed our stay and felt right at home at this cabin! It's welcoming for when you want to cozy up and stay in and close to several great outdoor options (Lake Wenatchee 10 mins, Leavenworth 25-30 mins) for when you're up for adventure. The owners are helpful and friendly to communicate with and their home away from home is clean, updated and very comfortable. We'd love to stay again!

Great place for a weekend getaway.

Had a wonderful time with family for a weekend away to enjoy the outdoors. The house was clean and comfortable and the hosts provided detailed information at every step of the way. The location is great as you are close to lakes, rivers and mountain trails. I will definitely try to stay here again in the future if possible.

Great getaway for family and littles!

Our experience was wonderful! The house is extremely nice inside and is perfect for a family getaway with littles/kiddos. The location is close to everything and made it easy to enjoy all things offered. The owners were helpful and communicative and made sure our stay was as enjoyable as possible. Can’t wait to stay here again!

We are the Hanzelka family and and we love to come to our second home in the mountains when the rain on the west side gets to be too much! Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, I've always loved hiking, snowboarding, and relaxing in the Leavenworth area year-round. This place has it all!

Forest Haven is a private retreat for you and your family to relax and unwind. High-speed fiber-optic internet and two work spaces allow you to "work from home." A Smart-TV, plus ample games, puzzles, and a level outdoor space allows plenty of entertaining opportunities for little ones as well! The cute town of Plain or Lake Wenatchee National park are also both less than 10 minutes away.
