This house was clean and comfortable and included anything we might have needed. All we added was food, fun and wine. We described this as comfortable hominess mixed with luxury resort! The property was just as advertised and the lakeside location was perfect for our group. Sunrise coffee on the deck was our morning ritual. Hope to return for another holiday soon.

The retreat at the Lake is just what it says... a beautifully appointed retreat for winter rest. This property offers every amenity from a fully equipped kitchen to comfy beds with cozy bedding to a fireplace and reclining seating in a large, open family room. Winter has offered us a warm setting for a special family gathering but with the back deck overlooking Kentucky Lake and filled with tables and chairs, summer would be idealto spend time at the retreat. Any season will be enjoyable with all of the amenities. We sure enjoyed our stay. We hope you enjoy yours.

Great Lake property

This was an amazing property! We were able to dock our boat and it was right on the water. Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with whatever we needed to cook with. Would definitely recommend this property.

Beautiful Lakehouse!

This house was beautiful. Very clean and completely redone. It felt brand new! All the linens, towels and dishes were very nice. Was a great place to spend the weekend with our adult children. Nice boat dock and great location! Would highly recommend!

House was very clean, modern feel inside, and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and spices. There were some board games that the host provided on our rainy days inside. Fire pit looked nice but didnt realy partake as we needed to get firewood. Recommend Cypress Resort Marina right down the road for boat rentals, live bait, and beer (even though its not advertised). We ordered out at the restaurant too, good food and recommend the broasted chicken.Overall nice relaxing time!

Beautiful, comfortable, and spotless!

This rental seems brand new. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The decor is beautiful. The view of the lake was stunning. We enjoyed sitting on the covered deck and taking in the view. The owners were super responsive when we reached out. We look forward to renting this home again on our next trip to KY Lake.

Only gave a 4star on CheckIn process because we never received our instructions VIA email. However Stephanie, the owner was quick to respond when we reached out on getting us all the info we needed. She was very informative of things to do, places to eat, etc. Although we didn’t have any agenda for our vacay except more downtime, family time, and bringing our boat to enjoy the beautiful lake. We cooked every meal except for 2 nights, and those nights we ate at Patti’s Settlement (This place is a must) and the Cypress Resort had some amazing food as well. You won’t be disappointed with either. We enjoyed roasting marshmallows, many laughs playing the variety of board games, fishing on the private, the convince of having the marina near by was a plus and just taking in the beautiful scenery. The property and gorgeous clean home was everything we could have wanted for our stay and more. Thanks for sharing this place with us. We look forward to planning another trip in the near future. I am sorry that you didn't receive your check in information, we have had some issue with our texting service and people actually opening the text to read all of the check in information. Some of the 3rd party booking companies do provide us with emails so that limits the contact for information. We do think we have resolved the issue at this time, I do think you all were the ones who we discovered this problem with and have tried to resolve it in a timely manner for future guests.
