Great get away

This is my second time staying at this lake house rental for a weekend of shopping and relaxation. It’s clean, quiet and has everything we needed. We had so much fun shopping (only20 minutes from First Monday in Canton)we didn’t get to enjoy the fishing or the barn with all the games. Watching the sunset over the lake with a glass of wine was a great way to end each day. Already looking forward to our next stay next year. Book it NOW!

We truly appreciate your kind words and recommendation, and we can’t wait to welcome you back again next year!

Quick family trip

We had a great stay! We travels to Van because my son was in a state baseball tournament. He thoroughly enjoyed fishing and swimming in his down town. The house was very clean, and the owners were very responsive. Thanks for a great stay!

This place was absolutely AMAZING! The views, the house, the covered outdoor entertainment space, the shop with all the games/space, the amount of yard for the kids and dogs to play in, and the lake right there made this place have endless possibilities of fun and relaxation for our family trip. We will absolutely be staying here again for our annual First Monday Trade Days trip, and we will likely try to come back during spring/summer to take advantage of the fishing and lake activities. We have stayed in many different places within 30 minutes of Canton, some of which were on other lakes. This one, hands down, is the place to be.

Really great place to stay. Home is very nice, clean and comfortable. Received prompt answers to the few questions we had. Easy drive to First Monday Trade Days in Canton, and a very nice place to relax and unwind after a long day of shopping. The outdoor area is beautiful, right on the lake. Although we didn’t use the game area, it appears to be well equipped and is definitely spacious. Would definitely stay here again.

Wedding Trip Retreat

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this home while in town for a wedding! It was the perfect setup for our group, with multiple families and a mix of ages all staying comfortably under one roof. The house easily accommodated all 8 of us, and everyone had plenty of space to relax and enjoy. There was truly something for everyone. My husband and son had an amazing time fishing and caught a dozen fish during our stay, which was such a highlight for them. Our young adult kids stayed entertained the entire time with all the activities—ping pong, foosball, darts, and even a friendly (and competitive!) cornhole tournament.Evenings were just as special, spent unwinding together around the fire pit. It created such a fun and memorable atmosphere after busy wedding festivities. This home made our trip extra special, and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend for families or groups looking for a place that offers both comfort and fun!

Thank you so much for this incredible review! We’re truly glad to hear your group had such a memorable stay, especially during such a special occasion. It’s great to know the home was a perfect fit for your families and that everyone—from the fishermen to the game-night competitors—found something to enjoy. Hearing that your husband and son had such success fishing and that the evenings around the fire pit brought everyone together really means a lot to us. We love creating a space where guests can relax, have fun, and make lasting memories, so your kind words mean everything. You were wonderful guests, and we’d absolutely love to host you again anytime!

Hidden Gem

We were very fortunate to stumble across this home. Our original home was canceled on us 1 month before our spring break vacation. I quickly searched for something new and this place had everything we wanted from fishing to a ton of games. We walked along the dirt road (when it wasn't too windy) and met some cows during our stay. The kitchen had almost everything we needed, as we cooked every meal while there. We caught a few catfish while fishing, played all the games and even rode the bicycles around. My family including 2 teenagers, grandparents and pups had an amazing time. I would definitely recommend this place for a nice get away!
