Clean rooms , was big enough for my Girls Birthday party weekend get away. We enjoyed the views and fire pit. Rain Saturday night but found fun things to do inside with the pool table and lots of board games to choose from. Would recommend!

The Mineola Lake House was the perfect choice for us as we counted down to our daughter’s wedding. She and her bridesmaids commented on the lake view and dock making it feel very peaceful as we all prepared for her big day. The owner was quick to respond with a solution when the internet was not cooperating. The home was clean, there were plenty of towels, and the beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful stay for Mother’s Day Weekend

The property was amazing. We enjoy the house, the lake the amenities and everything about our stay. The host was very helpful and when we had a request he was quick to make sure everything was taken care of. The house was great for multiple families and had so many things to entertain the kids. We will be back!

Fun Weekend with Family

This place was perfect for us. Very beautiful. It was a very cold weekend so we didn't get out much but enjoyed the house and its warmth. The kids loved it here. Room with bunk beds was a big hit with them. It was a great place for family gatherings.

Beautiful property

We rented the property for a family get together. Adults stayed in the home but young children and teens spent a day there with us. The house was so well stocked with things to entertain all age groups, there was no need to ever leave the property. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Bathrooms had plenty of towels and toiletries. Internet service worked well. The views were spectacular. We would happily rent this property again in the future.

Great house, tons of stuff to do: paddle boards, pool table, games, puzzles, lake, darts, ring hook. Had a lot of towels for the bathroom, greatly appreciated. Kevin the host was awesome, his response time was minutes. 10/10!!!

Great house

The house is great- and on a great piece of lakefront property. Overall it’s a great place and we enjoyed our stay. The dock needs a little work to make it more user/swimmer friendly. Looks like there is an old boat lift in the water, and loose boards that need fixing. We were a little wary of swimming around the dock. The outdoor/grill area needs lighting. We couldn’t see to use the grill at night. If there is a light out there- is was either not working or we couldn’t find the right switch. It would also be nice to have more than one TV that connects to internet. Just a few things could really make this a great “lake destination.”

The wood piers in the water are part of a planned expansion of the dock, not an old boat lift but we understand the concern. We appreciate your suggestions on areas of improvement and have shared them with the homeowner for further consideration. For instance, a smart TV has just been installed in the master bedroom to provide additional entertainment options. Overall, the house was very nice and even with a few set-backs, we had a nice time. Tried to notify the host of a leak in the kitchen that seeped into one of the bedrooms leaving our personal items soaked. Could not reach the host or VRBO. We later realized that there was a bowl placed under the sink to catch the water that we were not aware of and had to empty it. We had to do this several times. Also, one of the bunks had very soiled lined that had not been changed. Also, we had several seniors over 80 and could have used some grip bars for the shower, but we made it work. Overall, we still had a great time and loved the house and the area.

Peaceful family-friendly spot!

I booked this rental for a group of work friends headed to First Monday Trade Days in nearby Canton. The large living area and four bedrooms gave us ample room to spread out for a restful weekend. The location could not have been better, with gorgeous sunsets over the lake each evening. Two of the bedrooms are located off the kitchen area and share a bathroom. The other two on the opposite end of the house also share a bathroom, but that bathroom is located as an en suite off the large master bedroom that contains the king bed and bunk beds, so keep that in mind when it comes to bathroom logistics. The screened in patio was lovely and a great place to hang out after long days of shopping. I arrived for checkin around 9pm, and the entrance area onto the screened porch was pretty dark; a motion light or some type of porch light would be welcome for guests who may arrive after dark. Our host, Kevin, was immediately available via phone to talk me through the entry process safely and smoothly. He also quickly responded one morning when a smoke detector battery began chirping, taking care of the issue with no more problems. I would highly recommend this rental!

Best Lake Vacation Spot Ever!

Best lake house rental we have ever stayed in (and we do lake vacations fairly frequently)! I cannot say enough good things about this property and about our host. The location is fabulousl - photos online are good but they don't do it justice. Right on the lake - and the lake was very quiet during our few days there, so it was relaxing and beautiful. This is the most well appointed rental I have ever stayed in. The kitchen has pretty much everything (and lots of it) including a spice cabinet. Bottle of wine was waiting on the counter when we arrived. The house was clean and very nicely decorated. So much space! I took my daughter and three of her friends for a 3 day getaway after school ended and they had a blast. The paddleboards were the best - the girls loved them and were on the lake as much as the weather allowed. The pool table is a great perk, as well as all the games (so many games!). Streaming services on the main TV and DVDs for the TV in the large room with all the bunk beds. The screened in porch was my absolute favorite - I spent a lot of my time out there while the girls were sleeping or watching TV or on the lake. The fire pit is really cool (we didn't get to use it because it rained and the wood was all wet, but we will use it next time). We had a few questions and Kevin was always very quick to respond and helpful. This was seriously the best lake rental we have ever stayed in. We will absolutely be back again!

This house was perfect for our 3-generation family gathering, as there was something to appeal to everyone. Very kid-friendly and family-friendly with comfortable gathering spaces and variety of activities for the kids. They loved the paddle boarding! We made special memories with our loved ones in this lovely setting. Host is very condiderate in providing well-stocked house with the essentials.
