Great View

We stayed at this property 2 years in a row and we love the location of the property and the view. Wish the water was connected to the fridge for the ice maker. For the price we pay that was an inconvenience to not have ice in the unit.

Beachfront confo

We loved the clean beach, the proximity of restaurants and shops and the condo had comfortable furniture. They do need to add a black out curtain in the bedroom next to the outside hallway. It is very light in the room because of the light coming thru the window shade from outside hallway. Nice place to stay!

Fun stay with family at Pensacola

The property was clean and very well equipped. We were given all the necessary information to have a comfortable stay. We did not have to reach out to the property management for anything. We will definitely be returning back to this property in the future.

Gorgeous views

This unit has gorgeous views and is close to great food and nightlife (I didn't partake, but I'm originally from this area!) This is a perfect spot to spend a relaxing week watching the gulf from floor-to-ceiling windows! Bring your own salt/pepper/oil/basics so you won't have to go out shopping, but if you do go out, the grocery is only a few minutes away. This is the second time I've stayed in this unit, and it won't be the last.

Lovely Gulfside Retreat with Great View!

Stunning 16th floor balcony view of the Gulf. Also of Santa Rosa Sound from hallways. Heavy influx of seaweed kept us from Gulf swimming, but still had a lot of fun with grandkids on beach and nearby locations. Condo pools & hot tub very nice. Southern Vacation management does great job preparing guests of what to expect on arrival, and what is needed. One negative was too many security codes for beach, parking, rooms. Everything should be same for visit except rooms. It was confusing. A note to owners: six people staying a week need more folding storage. Possibly a 2nd bedroom table with drawers, or a couple of folding luggage stands allowing suitcases to remain open for access during stay. Also please replace the very uncomfortable sofa sleeper. Just suggestions, none of that dampened our stay. Clean condo, great building staff, stunning views, and close to our favorite Pensacola places!

Great location

Beach chairs and more toilet paper should be included at this location especially considering how much we paid. Otherwise awesome location and great time.

Overall nice condo.

There was only one parking pass in the condo. We did have 2 cars. No kitchen dish towels to dry dishes . No cork screw to open wine bottle. Bathroom pedestal drains are very slow. While they look nice, there is no counter space. However we had a great time and love the beach.

We love Pensacola Beach and visit here often. This unit was ok. Wish it had complimentary beach chairs as the other units we've stayed in.

The property was exactly as described. Great location.

I would have given it 5 stars except for a couple of things. 1. There wasn’t enough forks and spoons. There were only 6 forks and when friends came to eat one night they had to bring plastic forks. 2. It would be nice to have hand soap in the bathrooms and kitchen. I know this is a small thing, but especially during COVID, it would have been a nice convenience. I just went and bought some. But we enjoyed our stay and liked the condo.

good, not great.

the description of the property was on point. location was perfect, right on the beach! the floor was a little sandy but that’s to be expected i suppose, a runner by the bed would’ve been nice. the door code was a nightmare. it would randomly not work, at one point i couldn’t even get out of the room. it resolved quickly so there was no panic but it was annoying. also, there were no parking passes. i just borrowed a friends who had an extra. idk if it’s listed in the pictures but the bathroom sinks are pedestal so there’s really no room to lay your things out to get ready.

Winter vacation

Unhappy Stay

Had inadequate lighting, had to ask for a kitchen trash can, had skimpy kitchen provisions, found sand in guest bed linens, etc. In all our stays at Emerald Isle, by far the most poorly appointed condo we’ve ever had.

Very happy with our stay!

I would highly recommend staying in this condo. For the cost it was well worth it! We are a family of 4 and had plenty of space to have our privacy and the view never got old! Sadly I was worried about previous reviews when booking but was pleasantly surprised when I walked thru that door! Would highly recommend booking this condo!

Meh!! Poor experience, but great view and location...

There are a number of things which basically duplicate and build on a previously posted negative review. First, You have to freaking pay an extra $60 for a “Late check out” which only give you til NOON as opposed to 9 if you don’t pay to check out late!! We paid this d/t having a late flight back to nashville. This information wasn’t made known until you have already booked it on VRBO. The icebox doesn’t even seem to make ice. We literally only had ice the first day to put in the cooler and then... nothing for the rest of the week. Also, the day we got down there, we drove to the office to pick up the fitness key- (yes, have to drive down the road to pick it up), they were closed, but we called and were told to get the key out of the box (wasn’t one in the box-so we called again and they said come by the next day). There also was no car placard for parking on the counter, which led us to call again- we were told to write our room number and the name and number of the rental company on a piece of paper so our rental car wouldn’t get towed! We went to the office the next day and the lady that helped us gave us the key to the fitness center and a car placard (She was very nice and helpful). Also was not enough vertical blinds to cover the windows or doors (again- already a previous complaint about this, AND we have these same blinds in our house- they really aren’t that expensive) <— this comment is probably the most frustrating for me because this shows that they really don’t care, otherwise it would’ve been fixed. One remote worked, because batteries were dead in 2/3 remotes. We switched the good batteries into all of the remotes and the remotes worked (again- not expensive and a frustrating nuisance). Master Bedroom ceiling fan light would come on and flick right back off (aka it didn’t work). Then, the top plug of the outlet behind the nightstand did not work! What made this even more frustrating was that this was the plug that the lamp was plugged into (Thought we weren’t going to have any light in the bedroom). Once we plugged it into the bottom plug, it worked (Frustrating)! Also, the cable for the cable TV (in the master bedroom) was broken and I had to twist it back together in order to get tv in the master bedroom (it was literally dangling). Despite all of the frustration, the rental was very clean, centrally located, was close to the beach, and had a great view from the balcony. All the negative killed the vibe for us...

-The location is the best part of this condo. -The sliding door in bedroom and closet door on washer/dryer closet are broken. All of the blinds are broken; the blinds in the smaller bedroom do nothing to keep the hallway light from shining in at night. -The $60 fee for arriving prior to 4pm and additional $60 fee for leaving after ***9am!!*** is ridiculous; find a company who has flexibility on arrival and departure! -The beds, couches and chairs are quite comfortable. The kitchen has everything you could need for vacation cooking. -There are no beach towels, chairs, floats or fun stuff provided....bring your own if you are driving....too bad if you are flying in :(

Location is amazing, unit needs improvements

We stayed in this unit three years ago, and since we booked so last minute for our trip last week, we ended up having to book it again. The location is amazing, on the beach and close to restaurants, but the unit needs many improvements: 1. Comforters and pillowcases smell disgusting, we had a hard time falling asleep the first night because they smelled so bad. Please have them cleaned! It won’t cost a lot and it would make a big difference to your guests 2. We were given three rolls of toilet paper for 4 people over five nights. Again, it would be nice to have at least one roll per bathroom per night. Will not be a big expense! 3. The light on the balcony is not working, please have it fixed. My husband and I like to sit at night to look at the ocean, but it was completely dark 4. The management company, southern vacation, did not give me the gate or main door code. I had asked for it previously and they gave me our room code, so I was stuck with all of my stuff and the car outside of the complex until I could get a hold of them on the phone. They could do better in their communication 5. Similarly, we wanted access to the fitness room, but had to wait until the management company with open on Monday to get the key. The office is almost 3 miles down the road, so not close, but also not very convenient 6. Finally, if they could get some blinds that would provide some sort of black out to the rooms, that would be fantastic! I hope that you will take the suggestions, it would really improve the experience!

Can't say enough great things

I honestly can't say enough great things about this condo and the management company. The condo is very clean with nice update kitchen and furniture (updated since what you see in the pictures. The shower in the master is big and the bed is very comfortable.The view is spectacular - the building is nice. The management company is completely available around the clock for anything that may come up. They are super helpful and a great team! Very highly recommend!
