We had an amazing week at Jeffâs property. The gorgeous views, the proximity to everything and the gorgeous deck and dock added to the experience. The cottage and bunkie is a perfect size for a large group. Lots of parking for everyone. If you want a spot to rest, relax or even work away from the office, this is the place. Great WiFi allowed me to stay connected to work while enjoying time with my family.
We stayed for a week at Jeff's cottage and had a fantastic time! Having kayaks and a canoe allowed us to explore the magnificent lake and enjoy fishing. Spending evenings watching sunset at a firepit or at a spacious outdoor area added to the great experience. The cottage itself had a full kitchen with all appliances and cookware, the bathroom had very good quality shampoos, soaps, towels etc. all of which we much appreciated. Beds were very comfortable to sleep on. Some nights were very hot but the place had many fans which helped to beat the heat to some extent.Overall, it was an amazing relaxing week full of great memories. We highly recommend to stay at Jeff's place.
Such a lovely location for our family getaway!! Direct lake access and the water of Loughborough Lake was so clean and refreshing. We also loved hearing the Loons calling out on the lake.Nice big dock to hang out on as well as a very spacious upper deck with lots of chairs and a comfy outdoor couch. Shade tent on upper deck was essential for the late afternoon sun.Inside of cottage was cute: clean, bright and had a nice feel. BBQ on the deck and stove/microwave inside, so lots of options for cooking. Lots of fans provided too, but bring a portable air conditioner if you have one - the late afternoon sun is on the house all afternoon!!Neighbours were very friendly and welcoming. Jeff was a very responsive host and answered any questions within minutes! We would happily stay again!
We stayed a week in July 2025. Jeff was great at responding to our questions prior to the trip and everything went smoothly. The lakeside location had amazing views and the sunsets were outstanding. It was a very hot and sunny week and we were able to choose sun on the deck and dock or find shade beneath the tent-like structure on the deck or in the adirondack chairs by the firepit, which was also lakeside. There was also a decent breeze down the lake. The cottage was very clean and while a bit smaller in the indoor living space, there was plenty of seating outdoors, which is where we spent all of our time anyway. The bunkie was a great getaway for our teen son. The kayaks allowed us to explore the lake and enjoy the beautiful scenery, including several deer. All in all, it was a great week on Longborough Lake and we'd certainly go back.
The cottage is clean and has great views over the lake, and just a few steps from the dock which is great for swimming. The canoe and kayaks were also great to use.
Wonderful cottage at lake. Very tranquil setting. Pictures on vrbo are underselling the place! Clear communication with host. Bunkie (with 3 beds) very hot.
We had a wonderful stay at Jeff's property. Between the main cottage and Bunkie, the main deck, lower deck, kayak and canoe use, my 4 sons, two daughter-in-laws and myself had a very relaxing stay.
If you're looking for a beautiful place to watch sunsets, this is it! They are beyond incredible as are the views of the stars at night.
We enjoyed canoeing and kayaking around the closest islands and the water itself was super refreshing to swim in.
Jeff was quick to respond to any questions and queries in a timely manner.
We hope to be able to return next summer :)
Great property. Beautiful waterfront views. Quiet area with some cottage neighbours. No AC but it cools down nicely at night. Bunkie has no electricity. Dining room table is outside under an awning/roof. Itâs hilly on the property, so not really suitable for people with mobility issues. Overall, a great cottage with excellent swimming.
Cottage is comfortable and clean. We had a wonderful couple of days with our kids fishing and canoeing. The owner was extremely helpful and communicative if we needed anything. We definitely hope to return sometime.
