THE SPACE:
Welcome to your home away from home! This recently updated 2-bedroom, 1-bath apartment blends mid-century style with cozy Boho accents, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for your stay. Unwind after a day of work or exploring with a movie night on the 65â Roku TVâjust log into your favorite streaming services.
The fully stocked kitchen makes meal prep easy, featuring a drip coffee maker, tea kettle, a selection of coffee, tea, sweeteners, creamers, a range of cooking utensils, and a dishwasher. The bathroom is equipped with fresh towels and essential bath products, including hand soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
Planning a longer stay? You'll appreciate the in-unit washer and dryer, and with high-speed WiFi (250+ Mbps), youâll stay connected throughout your visit.
WORK:
Need to catch up on work? An electronic adjustable desk in the living room allows you to comfortably sit or stand while working.
THE AREA:
Weâre happy to share our favorite local spots and answer any questions about the apartment or the complex. You can easily reach us through the conversation thread or by text during your stay.
OCCUPANCY:
This unit accommodates up to 4 overnight guests. Please note that exceeding the occupancy limit may result in eviction.
PARKING:
Youâll have access to a designated, numbered parking space just steps from your private entrance behind the building.
MINIMUM AGE:
Guests named on the reservation must be 25 years or older. By booking, you confirm you meet this requirement and have the legal authority to enter into a contract. The reservation holder must be present at check-in and for the duration of the stay.
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT: Check-in time is at or after 4pm and check-out time is prior to or at 10am. Early check-ins and late checkouts are not available at this time.
SECURITY: For security reasons, there are audio/video recording cameras in the common areas of the building and outside of the building. There is a noise monitoring system inside the unit, however, this only monitors decibels and does not function as a recording device.
Please note that any house rules violation will incur an additional $150 penalty charge.

//STAIRS & ACCESS
This apartment requires climbing stairs to access. It is on the third floor and has forty stairs to reach the door.
//ROW MACHINE
There is a row machine for your use while you stay. Please enjoy but do so at your own risk. The host will be held-harmless for any injury that may occur from using the equipment.
//DAMAGE & INCIDENTALS
This space has been designed to feel like a home away from home with many amenities. The booking guest is responsible for any incidentals, damage, or missing items during your stay. This includes but is not limited to destroyed and stained towels and linens.
//NO PETS
We all agree that dogs (and cats!) are our best friends, due to the many common elements of our house, and allergies of our past guests, we do not allow pets. There are no exceptions to this rule including assistance/service animals. There will be a $250 cleaning fee assessed if it is determined a pet has been anywhere in the house.
//GUEST COUNT
The amount of guests that are included in your reservation includes anyone entering the apartment during your stay, not just those staying overnight. If you bring more guests than reserved, you will be charged for the additional number of guests or your booking will be canceled immediately without refund.
//NO PARTIES
Although we all love a good party, we share this historic building with many of our neighbors who are our friends and we take their living environment seriously. Please be aware that large gatherings, heavy drinking, excessive noise and loud music will not be tolerated and reservations will be canceled without refund.
//QUIET HOURS
Quiet hours are from 10pm - 8am. We want you to have fun but please be considerate of our neighbors during these quiet hours.
//NOISE
Although this fully-renovated building is in fantastic shape it was constructed without the benefits of modern soundproofing so you will, on occasion, hear neighbors now and then. This rarely is a problem but if there is any concern please let us know and we will resolve on short order.
//SAFETY & SECURITY
For safety and security there is a security system monitoring the exterior parking area of the property. The cameras are located at the corners of the building. There are no cameras located inside of the unit.
//FRONT DOOR
There is a door leading to the front stairwell of the building that we ask you not use. We do not have smart locks for these doors and you will be locked out if you leave the building through the front requiring you to walk around to the back. Please only use it in case of emergency.
//COMMON SPACES
There are some open landing areas at each level of the stairwell. Feel free to stand in these areas to smoke.
//NO SMOKING
Smoking is prohibited anywhere inside of the apartment. You are welcome to smoke outside in the stairwell area as long as you clean up after yourself. Should this be violated there will be an additional $250 cleaning fee.
Please note that we use a third-party cleaning service for our accommodations. As a result, we do not provide mid-stay cleanings. Thank you for your understanding!

In the state of Michigan, alcohol, marijuana, and tobacco are legal substances. However, their use on our property is subject to the following conditions:
* Alcohol: Guests may consume alcohol within the unit or on the premises, provided it is done responsibly and without disturbing other guests.
* Marijuana: Smoking or vaping marijuana is strictly prohibited inside the unit. Guests may only use marijuana in designated smoking areas on the property.
* Tobacco: Smoking or vaping tobacco is strictly prohibited inside the unit. Cigarettes may only be smoked in designated smoking areas on the property.
3. Non-Compliance:
Failure to comply with this policy will result in immediate action, which may include eviction, reporting to the OTA, and notification to local authorities.
