Qu'il s'agisse d'une escapade d'un week-end pour vous et votre conjoint ou de passer la semaine avec toute la famille et les amis, tout le monde peut en profiter. Cette maison est nichée sur un terrain de deux maisons avec une entrée privée, à quelques pas de l'eau. Les clients ont accès au quai flottant en eau profonde (peu importe que l'eau soit basse). Profitez de la vue sur le lac, les montagnes et les couchers de soleil à couper le souffle depuis le balcon. Sur la propriété, il y a un panier de basket, une table de ping-pong, une cheminée, des salons à l'étage et au rez-de-chaussée avec câble, laveuse / sécheuse, wifi, gril à gaz, trou de maïs, jeux de société, cuisine avec tout le nécessaire, promenades pittoresques et ample espace pour l'intimité.

Property met the description and photographs provided on VRBO. Property was private with a great view of the lake. I would absolutely stay here again if I get the opportunity. Great for a family stay. Large rooms with multiple common areas.

Location, location, location! This property doesn’t have steep access to the dock and is close to party cove, jumping rock and mile creek park which are all of the areas we enjoy going to. The back porch is a great place to watch the sunsets. We had 5 adults and 3 boys 5, 7, and 10.

Outstanding spot on the lake, beautiful views and amazing sunsets. Loved the gentle slope and short walk to the dock. It was nice having a boat ramp so close the property. We had a great time! Thank you.

Great spot. Very clean. Was worried about previous reviews stating the owners, who live next door, watched you like a hawk. We did not find this to be true. They were lovely hosts.

Beautiful view of the lake, clean house. But…be advised- owner lives on site (very close next door) and it’s a shared dock, definitely lacking privacy. Its 30 min to Clemson or Seneca. Six Mile is closest town & very small.

Perfect week at the lake

We had a wonderful week with extended family, and the house accommodated all 9 of us quite comfortably. It’s situated on a beautiful stretch of Keowee, with a nice dock and lawn are to sit and enjoy the sunsets. For most of the week the lake was wonderfully quiet, with only occasional boat traffic. We spent one day on a rental boat on Lake Jocassee visiting waterfalls, which was a short 30 minute drive away. Would highly recommend this house for a family gathering.

A wonderful vacaton

The house was very clean and perfect location on the lake. The view from the home was amazing and so Very peaceful. The dock was nice and easy to use for so long your own boat. Would stay here again for a quite family vacation!

Nice cabin, perfect for families

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was very clean and there were a lot of boardgames to entertain the kids. The property was beautiful and well maintained. The host was very friendly. The host controls the thermostat, which was somewhat inconvenient, but it was not overly hot or cold. There are also a good many rules posted everywhere, like no sleeping on the couches and no eating anywhere but the kitchen, but nothing too unreasonable. If rules aren't your thing though, then you may want to read the fine print before booking. The hosts were next door and were willing to help if we had any questions. Overall it was a nice weekend, great location, and well maintained home.

This home had older amenities but the best view ever! It was clean, safe and cozy.

This had to be the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in but some rather strange rules and older appliances and amenities. It was safe, peaceful and the perfect compromise between the hustle of Clemson and the cozy feel of the country side. We could not adjust the temperature ourselves and it felt like there were cameras everywhere (which we didn’t like). We had to turn the water heater on and off and we’re not allowed to sleep on the couch, or eat anywhere but at the kitchen table; however, we didn’t feel uncomfortable at all and felt like it was a quiet, peaceful place to be with our small family, it was a great place to rest from a rowdy weekend at Clemson University! I would stay here again for sure

Labor Day Weekend

We enjoyed our stay! The house was clean and comfortable and the owners were friendly and accommodating. Beautiful view, great location. The only downside was we couldn’t watch the college football games we were looking forward to because the TV’s did not have ESPN. No satellite/smart tv, only very limited cable channels. No big deal though, we just watched on laptop. If lots of tv options is not important to you, it’s great!

This is a beautiful property and location. It wad only 10 minutes from family. Excellent spot for Thanksgiving! We spent the mornings and evenings in the house playing ping pong, chess, jenga, and the afternoons on hikes to various waterfalls. The house was lovely and the view over the lake magnificent. We had booked this place for last Thanksgiving, but COVID changed our plans. The owners were very flexible and easy to work with. We had no problems postponing till this Thanksgiving. We had a great time thank you!

Very nice house in a great location!

This was our second year staying at Lake Keowee and we loved it just as much this year! The house is comfortable, five bedrooms make it nice and allow one to bring all your friends along! The view from the porch is wonderful and floating and swimming from the dock is an afternoon favorite! We will visit again next year!

Our family had a great week at this house on lake Keowee. Gerald the owner was super nice and helpful during our check in process then left us alone to enjoy the lake. House was super clean and everything worked. Great location on the lake also. Would definitely stay at this property again.

Great views and comfortable house.

The views are great with easy access to the water and the dock. Some offputting rules for the house including only 4 cars allowed for a house that sleeps 10. We had to park two cars at park overnight at $5 per car per night. No cable or satellite TV while we were there. Utility trailer in driveway which blocked parking and access to the basketball goal. Owners very particular.

Great place to bring your boat

But we don’t have a boat. Views of the lake are gorgeous and the spot is peaceful. There are lots and lots of rules to follow. Because we respect others’ property, we were ready to follow the rules and in turn expected a high level of due diligence from the owner. No spare propane tank to replace the empty for the grill, old yellow pillows, yard sale quality housewares, pollen covered outside furniture, inability to adjust the a/c temp, request to not eat in the living room, limited TV options, terrible cell service and Internet that went out were all a surprise and disappointment. And not all discovered/happened within the first hour when these should be reported to the owner for correction. And we shouldn’t have to report many of these basics. If you have a boat, bring it. You can put in literally 5 minutes away and use the dock. Then the condition of house might not matter as much to you.

I am the daughter of the owner. I spent my summers on this lake with my cousins and grandparents. The owners are retired and live in the lake home adjacent to this home. They both grew up on the lake and love sharing what they consider part of their heart and happiness with others.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Both homes on the property were built by the owner's late father. These homes have been in the family for generations. This home is now used as a rental and the other is still used by the owner part-time. The families spent their summers water skiing, feeding the geese, and watching the bluebirds nest right in their backyard. Winters were spent playing games, enjoying the view, sunsets, and spending quality time together with no agenda and nowhere else to be. The rental home has a balcony deck that gives you the perfect view of the sunset. It's truly magical and feels like a cozy, peaceful getaway! Not to mention it's only 15 minutes away from Clemson :D (GO TIGERS!)

With the owners living at the lake, they are more than happy to answer questions, help, and assist in any way! They would also be your point of contact for any maintenance issues and can tend to that promptly. They have grown up on the lake and know all there is to know about water sports, fishing, local favorites, etc. Consider them your own personal local guide!
