Louer un des premiers foyers au bord du lac dans Moorings de Keowee! Cette grande maison, joliment décoré est idéal pour des vacances en famille ou une retraite de travail. Le plan d'étage ouvert dispose d'un salon spacieux avec cheminée à gaz et des fenêtres du sol au plafond, salle à manger avec des sièges pour 10 et une grande cuisine, bien équipée. Dînez à l'extérieur sur le pont supérieur ouvert avec barbecue au gaz ou déplacez-vous sur le pont couvert inférieur (les deux faisant face à l'eau). Jouez au ping-pong ou utilisez l'un des kayaks et des planches à rames fournis.

Cour professionnellement aménagée avec marches en dalles menant au quai privé (avec 2 cales de bateau disponibles), pelouse et rampe pavée pour laisser tomber votre bateau! Beaucoup d'extras dont un garage pour 2 voitures, buanderie, porche, parking supplémentaire. Pêchez directement du quai ou sautez dans une eau très profonde et séchez-vous au soleil ou à l'ombre!

Family Vacation

This is our second year at this location, and it did not disappoint! The house has everything we could possibly need. Our family ranges from a 4-month-old to adults, and the house accommodated us all. The owner is easy to communicate with and always available. The boat ramp is a bonus with trailer parking on the property.

Perfect house for a large group

The owners were so accommodating for a last minute rental. The property was perfect for our large group of 5 couples. Beautiful home and property! Definitely want to return when we have time to use the lake as well.

Loved this place!! We will be back next year!!

Had an absolutely fantastic long weekend here. The layout was perfect for our group. Good seating options in the living room and dining room. The kids loved playing ping pong the fire pit and hot tub were a nice surprise. All in all a great time and we will definitely plan on staying here next year as well.

FABULOUS STAY

Just beautiful!!! Everything you could ask on a rental. We met our four older children and spouses for 8 days of pure joy! Great to have a boat slip to dock our boat!!! We will be making a yearly stay!

Great Place and Location!

This house was perfect for our family! We loved hanging out at the dock and on the the porches. The house was well stocked in the kitchen and met all of our family needs. We did take our boat and would advise backing all the way down and the gravel lot for trailer parking was perfect. Would definitely recommend and any questions the owner was easy to work with and responsive.

Perfect memorial weekend

We had a great time! The view from the deck is amazing! The house was perfectly accommodating! Boat ramp access so nice! The cove is beautiful. We had a wonderful family fun weekend! Thank you to Kim for making sure we had all we needed and being so accessible to us! We can’t wait to stay again!

Beautiful location

Lovely spot. Pictures are accurate. Only linens were provided; no trash bags, hand soap, dish soap, etc which is fine but should be communicated up front so that guests can plan accordingly and bring those items as needed.

What a wonderful family vacation we had. It was the perfect size for our three families. The weather was terrible our first 1/2 of the week, but there was an enormous selection of games and puzzles to choose from that kept all of us busy (from age 10 to 53). We brought too many things from home… this house comes packed with anything you will need. The blackstone grill (flattop) made quick work of our breakfast and dinners. The jacuzzi came in handy when the weather was chilly as did the fire pit area. When the weather did clear up most of our day was spent in the lake. The kayaks were fun. We rented a pontoon (definitely recommend) and a jet ski. The Lily pad at the dock was fun for kids and adults alike. We did bring our inflatable paddle boards and very much enjoyed using them to explore the area. Kim was very responsive to any questions I had leading up to our trip and during. Check in/ checkout was a breeze.

Great lake front home!

This home was great overall! The bunk bedroom (downstairs) actually has 3 bunk beds (one being a triple deck) so it sleeps a total 7 people. The kitchen had most things, but could use more regular size forks. The hot-tub looked clean and was hot, the lake and dock were great fun, especially the "lilypad" floating area. The two SUPs were great and the kayak looked good as well. The outdoor gas grill is actually a flat-top griddle, not a grate style grill, just FYI. Overall, a nice home in a good location to enjoy Lake Keowee, thanks for having us!

Owner very responsive

This was a new location for us, and the family agreed it was just fine. There were a few work arounds. Owner has a big pontoon boat at the dock, so we had to tie up our ski boat alongside. Dishwasher was on its last gasp of life. Owner sent repairman, but he said it would have to be replaced. Ditto for the stove. Some burners did not work. I have a VRBO property that I supply fully, so we were glad we brought toilet paper, paper towels, soaps and trash bags as there were no extras. The rooms slept everyone comfortably. The view was fabulous. To get that high view, one must navigate lots of steps, but I was probably the only one who huffed and puffed -- I'm 80. Nice house and quick response to our questions. Dining table is unique.

Beautiful location and view of the lake. Home had the rooms and space that we needed for our two families, 12 people total. We enjoyed swimming and fishing from the dock, kayaking and paddle boarding. Found some great hiking and swimming spots nearby, beautiful waterfalls. We drove up to Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway, had a wonderful time exploring. Unfortunately, we had some negative experiences with the property as well. Overall condition was average to poor and it was disorganized throughout. Dishes were not clean in cabinets, had to wash before use. Very hard to find basic supplies, many items were not in working order or missing parts, linens limited or not in good cond. Repaired clogged tub and broken towel bar. Master light/fan did not work, repaired the ping pong table. Sent owner list of some other concerning issues that should definitely be addressed. One paddleboard was broken and unusable, the other was in poor condition, paddles were broken and limited. This really is a great home and beautiful setting on the lake. We had a fun vacation despite some issues, but because of the premium price we paid, these things are worth mentioning. A few days of cleaning and reorganizing would make a world of difference for future guests. Thanks!

Fantastic place

Everything about this place was perfect. Great and clean place. We had a group of friends at the place with kids and we enjoyed every bit of the 2 days we stayed there. Hot tub, boat dock and the patio are an asset. The pictures don’t do justice.

Great property for Family

We had a group of 9 ages from 50-9. The listing of the property matches what we experienced. Beds and linens were good, kitchen was stocked pretty well with a few staples missing. Decks were nice. Grill leaves a lot to be desired with burners not working. Hot tub was clean and dock area was nice with lots of water activities available like kayaks, paddle boards etc. The landscaping was a little rough with tarps lying in grass and beach area was not clean. Overall we had a good stay and head home missing Lake Keowee already!

Great family get away

This house was set up perfectly for our family with 4 adult couples each in a bedroom and one bedroom with bunk beds for our six grandchildren. The house is well stocked with cooking equipment including grills and large stock pots for outdoor propane cooking. The lake front is gorgeous and the dock provided the perfect swimming area with a sturdy platform ladder for easy access to the crystal clear water. We brought our own boat and launched at the High Falls County Park a very short distance from the house. The quiet cove in front of the house made for ideal tubing conditions from the dock, especially during the mid-week days. There is room to park the boat along side the dock. We were able to park 2 cars in the driveway at the house, and 2 more and the boat trailer in the lower drive. The drive down to the parking areas is extremely steep, therefore, I would not recommend bringing any riding toys, bikes, skateboards, etc. To enter the main floor of the house, one must climb at 10 or more steps. To walk down to the water one must walk down several stone steps and stepping stones that are very nicely landscaped. Maneuvering can be difficult if you have knee problems. We really enjoyed our stay and felt it was a perfect place for us!

2nd stay here and definitely not the last!

We stayed here last year for a 4 day weekend and loved it so much we just stayed again for 9 days. It is absolutely perfect for our group of mixed ages. We bring a boat so the on-site boat slip is so convenient. We love it here and can’t wait for our next stay. Kim is very responsive and a great property host. Thanks again!!
