A friend and I, now living in different states from one another, met up and stayed here for a week in Santa Fe. From the moment we walked in, we felt weâd hit the rental jackpot. The home is beautiful, clean, comfortable, well maintained, and well appointed. Itâs spacious, too: As another reviewer pointed out, itâs ideal for two friends because the bedrooms and their baths are at opposite ends of the house. (It could also easily accommodate two couples, or even 2-3 generations of one family) Itâs close to downtown, and when youâve had enough, it offers a refuge and respite in its lovely patio. My friend and I agreed that itâs far and away the best rental property weâve ever stayed in.
What a wonderful experience! All aspects of our experience with VRBO was flawless. The property manager was outstanding with his customer service. The property was perfect for a mother and two adult daughters. A tremendous girlsâ getaway. I highly recommend the property - very walkable to the plaza, restaurants, museums - could not ask for better location for our stay!
Great location, beautiful and comfortable. Well furnished too! Courtyard is an oasis!
Overall an excellent experience. Only drawback is neither bathroom has a walk in shower and that was a problem for my dad. VRBO pictures did not show the master bath or we would have known before booking
Great property in ideal location. Loved the private patio with fireplace. Hiccup when we arrived as water had been shut off apparatus to owner nonpayment of water bill. Property manager was on site and at pains to resolve quickly, and city restored service within 2 hours.
An easy 3 block walk to the plaza makes this a great location for this Santa Fe vacation casita. With one large and one small walled court yard it feels private and safe yet provides the chance to just sit outside or dine al fresco and enjoy the fresh mountain air. The indoor spaces are comfortably and tastefully decorated.
Absolutely delightful home, Large king in one bedroom, 2 twins in another. Comfortable living, dining, kitchen area with beautiful decor. Pretty courtyard that was covered in snow for our April weekend! No noise issues; perfect walking location, did not need the car at all. I'm already planning a repeat trip to SF and am happy to know ahead of time where I'll stay!
This Santa Fe VRBO was absolutely beautiful upon arrival, with a stunning, large yellow leaf tree right by the door that set the tone for a welcoming stay. Despite being near an intersection, we had no issues with noiseâit was very peaceful and quiet. The interior was tastefully decorated, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed.
Its location is perfect, close to the Plaza, Canyon Road, and many other Santa Fe attractions, making it incredibly convenient to explore the area. This was our second time staying here, and it certainly wonât be our last! Highly recommend this place for a relaxing Santa Fe getaway.
This well-maintained Santa Fe property is quite comfortable, very nicely appointed and only two (long) blocks from the central square.
It is peaceful and lovely inside and has a private enclosed patio area but do note it is located at the intersection of two busy streets, Paseo de Peralta and Bishops Lodge Road. If your plan is to sit outside for breakfast or to enjoy afternoon snacks and drinks, it is not necessarily a quiet experience.
You may notice that there is only one of two bathrooms shown in the photos. That is likely because the large master bedroom has both a sink and bathtub/shower within it (toilet in a separate enclosed room). Since we were only two people, we showered in the other bathroom.
The house was perfect with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Very beautiful with the Santa Fe style. The location was also perfect. I would definitely stay there again if I get the opportunity.
This town home was beautifully decorated and well appointed. A short walk to the square. Very private. Super cozy Santa Fe. We did not build a fire as the weather was warm.
What a wonderful stay!
Location is perfect, we were able to walk everywhere, and the top things to see and do were only 10-20 minute walk. This property is exactly as the listing shows AND the two bedroom with attached bath at different sides of the house was great for 2 couples. Would stay at this property if we visit Santa Fe again.
Host is amazing - immediately responds to questions and very helpful. Beautiful home decorated beautifully. Kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked. Kitchen has everything you need. Right across street from plaza, museums and great food.
House was perfect for us, excellent location within walking distance of everything we planned to do. Really enjoyed sunset views at Cross of the Marytrs, within walking distance of house. Restaurants are excellent, recommend La Boca, French Pastry shop, Inn of Anasazi, The Shed. Will be back!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely authentic/historic Santa Fe home. The home was clean, and well supplied, with white fluffy towels, aromatic shampoo/toiletries, comfy bedding and well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the private courtyard for morning coffee and evening cocktails. The location was excellent, within easy walking distance to the Plaza, so you could leave your car securely parked in the assigned space. The host provided a detailed list of recommendations for dining and activities which was greatly appreciated. Thank you!
My family (4 adults) stayed her for five days. The house is so charming and well done in the hacienda style. We enjoyed the peaceful courtyard for our morning coffee and evening wine. The kitchen is bright and well equipped and the living and dining room spacious and comfortable. The location was ideal for us to walk to the plaza for shopping and dining. Beds were comfortable and the showers were great with good water pressure and lots of hot water. Just a few nit picky suggestions for the owners⊠instructions on how to operate the tv and have a few flashlights and candles for power outages (we had one during a summer storm) . Overall a wonderful place to stay!
You cannot beat the location and the amenities for Magdalena on the Plaza. Guests will enjoy the proximity to shops, galleries, restaurants, historical sights, museums, churches, bars and music venues. With multiple kiva fireplaces, charming courtyard and historic charm...you'll see why Magdalena on the Plaza books up quickly. While we love dogs, this property excludes pets of any kind. Perfect for folks who have allergies.
