The Space:

Enjoy comfortable Santa Fe living in this two-level townhome with high-end finishes. Relax by the living area's wood-burning fireplace or enjoy an evening cocktail on the private flagstone courtyard is accessible via French doors in both the living and dining rooms, making it easy to dine alfresco at the table.



You'll be only about 350 yards from the New Mexico 475 that leads to Ski Santa Fe 15 miles away, where you can enjoy the day on the slopes, and come back, rack your skis and enjoy a nice fire at home, or head into town for a local dinner. Immerse yourself in Santa Fe's rich arts, and culture scene; the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum, New Mexico Museum of Art, and New Mexico History Museum are just a few blocks away! Take in a beautiful view of the city from historic Fort Marcy Park or head to Santa Fe Plaza to shop for local wares - both are less than a mile away.



Relax beneath exposed wood beams known as vigas and enjoy the giant 66' TV with cable and Netflix. The regionally inspired furniture and artwork accentuate the space, which includes a queen sofa bed, love seat, armchair, and desk area. The group's chef will be drawn into the well-appointed kitchen, outfitted with granite countertops, knotty alder cabinets, and stainless steel appliances. The dining room features a rustic wood table and direct access to the courtyard.



The primary bedroom boasts a gas fireplace, TV, and access to a private balcony with a bistro table. The convenient en suite bath includes a jetted soaking tub, walk-in shower, and double vanity. The second bedroom holds a large dresser, TV, and an en suite bathroom.



Complimentary WiFi, a stackable washer/dryer, a Wii, and a variety of books and board games are provided.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Adobe Retreat! One of the nicest features is that it is just minutes from the Plaza, but is nestled in a quiet, residential area that makes you feel you are far away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas. Many of the reviews for this property comment on the artwork at Adobe Retreat. I swear you could live there for six weeks and not “find” all of the pottery, paintings, folk art, beadwork, Native-theme hangings, etc., etc., etc. It’s truly amazing (and fun)! The Vacasa folks sent us regular texts with information and reminders – quite helpful. The house was stocked with everything we needed and more. Lovely three-day stay!

Inspiring Stay

We loved our stay at this beautiful adobe home near the heart of historic Taos. It was the perfect place to relax after a hard day skiing on the mountain:-) The kitchen was perfect for whipping up breakfasts, and we appreciated building a real fire in the fireplace for cozy winter vibes. The owner's carefully curated collection of artwork rivals the local museums and galleries. Thanks for opening up your home to guests.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great unit, wonderful location, clean ... but horribly slow wifi and the (floor) heating leaves a lot to be desired (hard to regulate).

Taos oasis

I loved this place in Taos. it was close to all the shopping and so quiet. it was so comfy. the kind of place i would buy as a vacation home. probably the best short term rental properly that i’ve stayed at ever especially for the price. the only problem was access the key via key box. i couldn’t get it open. Maybe use another way to get in is only suggestion. very very clean! I will definitely sty here again..

Lovely house, but...

The house was lovely-- lots of art and knick-knacks that were interesting. It was plenty big for 4 adults and had all the kitchen amenities you could want. The location was good. We walked to town which was nice because parking was difficult. The neighborhood was very quiet. So the house itself was good BUT the service fee on this rental was more than the rental fee. Not sure if its because its a Vacasa house but double check the total price before you rent!

Loved it, some helpful feedback

We very much enjoyed our stay. A few things to note: The light in the shower is burned out. We replaced ed the light bulbs in the bathroom vanity so there are no extras, you will need to replace The yard had lots of dog poo, which I cleaned up but you probably need someone to do that regularly The lint catcher in the dryer seems stuck, we couldn't figure out how to clean it No Kleenex Would have been nice to have more than one key The internet was frustrating because it kept kicking us off several times a day BUT, we LOVED the place and would love to come back. I don't need to nitpick, but thought you'd appreciate this feedback.

Good place to stay

Good place to stay for a few days. The property manager was very responsive when we shared the heat wasn't working in the bedrooms (there were space heaters + a HVAC technician showed up the next day). It just took a while for the heat to work. The few things I noticed were 1. The parking can be a bit tight. We had a single vehicle - long bed truck that I managed to maneuver around other vehicles. 2. The beds weren't as clean as I would have ideally liked it. 3. The house crackled and creaked. Nothing anyone can do about that. I assumed it was the hot inside and the very cold outside (at least that's what I think was causing it). However little unnerving to hear throughout the night. Other than that, it is a great place to stay.
