The Space:
Our spacious vintage home has been renovated and styled by a local Interior designer. Our house is perfect for any occasion and is very child friendly. The house is tucked away behind a private automatic gate and is fully fenced. The house flows over one spacious level (with a small step down into the 4th bedroom) so is perfect for families with young children. The open plan gourmet kitchen and comfortable living area are located at the front of the house and French doors open up to the front garden deck. The main bathroom with double sinks and shower is tucked just behind the kitchen. The children's room with brand new single beds and luxurious linen is across from the bathroom. A large bedroom with queen bed is located at the end of the house and opens out to the gorgeous rear deck with garden and plunge pool views.
The master bedroom with organic crisp linens and luxurious furnishings is located at the rear of the house and flow out to the rear deck. The master bedroom has a huge ensuite bathroom with gorgeous tub perfect for relaxing after a long day at the beach. The Barn Studio is just off the ensuite bathroom and is accessed by either the 3rd bedroom or through its own private entrance at the front of the house.
Spend evenings in the gorgeous converted barn with Weber BBQ, large dining table and twinkling fairy lights. Enjoy picnics in the garden before having a dip in the private sparkling pool. The manicured garden is surrounded by fragrant Lavender plants, cool Cactus and mature trees. Let us help you arrange a gourmet picnic with the help of Noosa Picnics where you can hire accessories for the perfect outdoor setting.
We supply organic plant based bathroom products, luxury crisp white bed linens and towels.

Our home is located only a 2 minute flat walk to Noosa River and to all the amenities Noosaville has to offer including award winning Restaurants and gourmet cafes. Gorgeous boutiques and stunning coastal homeware shops only minutes away. You can also hire BBQ boats, Jet ski's and SUP's on the river. World famous Hastings Street is only a short 5 minute car journey away and Woolworths and Dan Murphy's are an easy walk away.
Once booked we will send you a compendium with information on the local area including gorgeous restaurants and child friendly things to do in Noosa.
Brisbane airport is a 1.5 hour car journey away and if you fly into the Sunshine Coast airport you will reach us in 30 minutes
Getting Around:
The River Shack is centrally located in Noosaville and is an easy walk away from all amenities. If you wish to go further afield you can drive around Noosa in 5 - 10 minutes. There is a bus stop close by and during peak seasons the bus service is complimentary. You can also hire scooters and enjoy the scenery in the open or of course hire some bicycles. If you wish to leave the car at home you can walk to everything, River, shops, restaurants, boutiques, Woolworths, Dan Murphy's and more!

Noosa Council Local Laws & Noise Restrictions:
Our local council have passed new laws for all holiday accommodation properties in the Shire from the 1st of February 2022. The laws are mostly in regards to any type of excessive noise that will disturb our residential neighbours at any time but especially after 10pm at night. Excessive noise is deemed as loud talking, laughing or singing as well as loud music or screaming and shouting. Council have a 24/7 complaints hotline for residents of Noosa and a security team member will need to respond to complaints with 30 minutes, either via phone call to you or a visit to the property. If this occurs during your stay the charge for the call / callout will be submitted for payment to the main guest. Please remember these are not our individual host rules but are Council laws which we must respect to keep our holiday management rights for the property. These are reviewed annually and will be declined if complaints are made. We kindly ask you not to take your frustration out on our team.
These laws also include lights being left on at night, excessive car parking (or parking on front of neighbours properties) and use of other residents' bins. Please ensure that you are aware of these laws as they have been agreed to in our terms and conditions.

The single beds are suitable for children under 12 only.
Wooden Floors - We have lovingly restored the original wooden floors in the house. Please do not move furniture around on the floor as you will easily scratch and damage the floor. It is very costly to fix these scratches and if damage is reported this will be a cost to the guest.
For your stay we provide a starter pack of basic condiments. Linens and towels including beach towels are provided for the amount of guests staying.
If you require additional linen, towels, or cleaning services during your stay, please contact us before you check in, and these can be provided at an extra cost.
Please note that the 3rd and 4th bedroom share a toilet but have their own seperate bathrooms.
Our trusty pool technician, Ryan attends to the pool every second Wednesday which may occur during your stay. He does not need to access the house and he will not disturb you.
Once you have booked via Airbnb your payment information is private between you as the guest and Airbnb. We are unable to advise you when your balance is due or change your payment information. Your details and payment information will be available to you in your confirmed booking itinerary or you will need to contact Airbnb directly.
For bookings for 10 days or more we can organise a mid stay clean and linen change. Please let us know prior to your arrival (please note this will be at a cost to the you as the guest)

It was what it was, a older property and it was afforable for the Noosa area. The BBQ would not get hot as i suspect the regulator was not working or the actual gas ring needed cleaning. The front cupboard panel on the dishwasher had partly pulled away from the dishwasher, the 'Garage: bed room was smelly when shut up - smelt like damp mouldy wood either from the shower or coming thru from under the actual house. The french doors arounf the home were all very rottem and could easierly be damaged. The lounge floor is like a trampolin! The fridge had a very bad 'Fish" smell!
