The Space:
This appointed condo located at Grand West Village Resort has 2 bedrooms plus loft and 2 bathrooms. There is a King bedroom on main level, upstairs there is a queen bedroom and 2 queen beds in loft. Equipped with a full kitchen with everything you need. Enjoy the living area with a gas fireplace, washer & dryer are available in the condo.  Sleeps up to 6. There is a wide screen TV located above the fireplace in the living room with apps.

About the name Blue Bucket: Blue Bucket is a mine that was discovered in 1847 by prospectors who found gold while fishing in a creek near their campsite. They filled two blue buckets, but the metal was so heavy it had to be left behind. Some think the mine was located near the marsh in Lake County while others believe it’s in the mountains.

There’s no end to the outdoor activities you can enjoy here, from mild scenic hikes to ultra-athletic pursuits, and we’re not limited by season. Head out on a fall colors bike ride, ski or snowshoe, go fly fishing, or climb the fourteeners! And as for the great indoors, we have plenty of restaurants, shops and historical attractions.

Getting Around:
Leadville is a very walkable city, driving to downtown is recommended from Grand West Resort. Downtown leadville has lots of street parking and public parking areas.

You might occasionally encounter some of the local wildlife, insects, and small critters that are part of the natural surroundings. We recommend keeping doors securely closed whenever possible. Rest assured, we've implemented thorough measures to ensure your stay remains undisturbed by these natural inhabitants.

Altitude sickness is real. In Leadville/ Twin Lakes, the elevation can be up to 10,000 feet. Symptoms can include dizziness and nausea, so please be mindful of this. We cannot offer refunds for guests experiencing altitude sickness. If you anticipate being affected, we recommend obtaining insurance at the time of booking.
