The Space:

A 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom home at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in Leadville, Colorado — 15 minutes from Ski Cooper, 30 minutes from Copper Mountain.



The private hot tub sits on the back deck with mountain views overhead. The non-chlorine system keeps it ready year-round. A gas grill and outdoor dining area share the deck — sunset grilling with the mountains in front of you.



Inside, the gas fireplace anchors the living room alongside a Smart TV. A dedicated workspace with WiFi handles remote work between ski runs or trail days.

The Neighborhood:

Leadville is one of the highest incorporated cities in North America at 10,152 ft — a former silver mining town with a walkable Main Street full of restaurants, bars, and local shops. Doc's Place sits at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in a residential neighborhood just minutes from downtown.

The Mineral Belt Trail — a 12-mile paved loop around Leadville — is accessible by car in minutes. Ideal for running, biking, or a morning walk with mountain views the entire way.



Leadville offers real mountain-town character at a fraction of resort-town pricing. Most guests come for skiing or hiking and leave planning a return trip.



Getting Around:

You'll need a car — there's no public transit or reliable rideshare in Leadville.



From Denver (DEN): ~2hr drive via I-70 W to Hwy 91 S. The route crosses Fremont Pass (11,318 ft) — check conditions at cotrip.org in winter. AWD or chains recommended Nov–Apr.



From Eagle/Vail (EGE): ~1hr drive, less mountain pass exposure.



Once here, downtown Leadville is a 5-minute drive. Ski resorts and trailheads require driving (15–55 min depending on destination).

Trash pickup is Friday morning — roll the bin to the curb if staying through the weekend.



Check-in after 4:00 PM, checkout before 10:00 AM. 8 guests maximum.



The home is family-friendly but not childproofed.

Managed by Traverse — we respond within an hour and are always reachable through the booking platform. The level of interaction is up to you — available when you need us, invisible when you don't.
