Warm your toes by the fire after enjoying blue sky days on Ski Coopers' all-natural snow! Ski Cooper is a hidden gem and the perfect resort to learn how to ski or ride! Just down the road is incredible backcountry snowmobiling, or extensive, groomed Nordic trails! Keep in touch with family and friends or catch up on some work while on vacation with high-speed wireless internet! Don't worry about keeping up with sports, this home has cable television as well! A shared laundry area is easily accessible from the main hallway. (Starter supplies are always provided such as wash detergent, dish detergent, soap, and shampoo.) You can easily access your online content such as Netflix, Amazon, Roku, Hulu, etc! Cook all your meals in OR order in!

Just around the corner from Leadville's beautiful NEW ice skating rink and sledding on Dutch Henry Hill (skate and tube rental available at low cost). SNOWMOBILE ACCESS! There is absolutely NO SNOWMOBILING on the rental property or in the subdivision of Grand West Estates. This includes the river valley right below the subdivision. THE CLOSEST access to snowmobiling on established recreational trails is from the Leadville Junction parking lot/ trailhead area that links to Turquoise Lake. ALL SNOWMOBILES MUST REMAIN ON TRAILERS WHEN ON YOUR RENTAL PROPERTY!

Great place to stay.

Fantastic location! Space was adequate for 1 or 2 people. Kitchen space is a little tight and so there were limited appliances, but overall a good stay, prompt checkin/checkout, and decent amenities.

Beautiful views and close to Cooper mountain

Perfect location for skiing at Cooper and visiting the town of Leadville. The condo/cabin is clean and comfortable. Basic kitchen needs are available.

Cozy Ideal Location

Have stayed in this building 5 times! 10 minutes from downtown Leadville or Mineral Belt XC Trail, 15 from Ski Cooper, 20 from the Trails at the Fish Hatchery. We use it as a base for multiple winter sports outings. Lodging is a combo of a cabin and a condo - fully equipped but with a woodsy feel. Mud room is perfect of storing and drying out gear. Shared laundry is a big plus.

Peaceful retreat

This place was just what we needed to unwind and relax. The area is beautiful and peaceful, and the inside is equally beautiful and comfortable with great amenities.

Very clean with everything we needed. We prepared several meals outside on the very nice gas grill. We would definitely love to come back.

The perfect little spot

We loved our stay. It was a cute and cozy place for our family of 4. Very clean and in the best location between Leadville and Ski Copper. We plan to book this place again in the future!

Quiet property in beautiful area

Very comfortable bed and quiet setting so great sleep. Was able to catch up on laundry after one week on the road. Small kitchen, but all the basics that you need. Very accommodating host and responsive!

Really great property for a long weekend get-away. Very nicely appointed kitchen with everything you would want. Comfortable bed and linens. Nice to have a porch for late afternoon libations.

Quiet cabin in the woods!

We stayed a week at this cabin for a week and it was so nice and quiet, you could see all the stars every night because there’s very few lights outside amazing! It’s a great location and close to the town of Leadville, just a short drive to Turquoise lake. We had the best time.

Great little outpost near Ski Cooper

Sweet little spot for 2-3 people tucked back in the woods a few miles outside of town. Very responsive host and all boxes checked on cleanliness, cookware, decent shower and a nice jet bath, comfy bed, TV was easy to manage streaming shows and movies, etc. We’ll be back!

Very nice place

The cabin was as described. It was clean and the furniture was comfortable. While the listing is accurate, it would be helpful to spell out that the refrigerator is a small, dorm size and not a full size with a freezer. If we had brought something like ice cream or a gallon of milk, we'd have been in trouble. The freezer will hold a small ice cube tray, that's about it. Still, we had a great time and really enjoyed the space.

Comfortable Week

This is a very nice quiet unit in a fourplex. Building is designed so there is good privacy. Accommodation was clean and efficient for two people. We based here for hiking adventures and it served us well. The only drawback is the small refrigerator/freezer. We were informed it was full sized, but it is an under-counter model with a tiny freezer. We adapted using a cooler in the mud room. This may be important to guests planning to eat in as we did. Otherwise, all good!

Nice Cabin & Stay

Property is very nice and well equipped with all the essentials. Very clean and comfortable. Loved having the walkin area to drop ski gear. Only hiccup was with check in. Was provided the wrong entry code and took some time to get it from the contact #'s who did not answer calls. After about 10 mins I received text with new code, and from there all was well.

Perfect location between Leadville and Ski Cooper

We enjoyed our stay at Peaceful Retreat. The grounds were groomed everyday after nightly snowfall. The unit has a mud room to store ski equipment, so that was very handy. The large bathroom with jetted tub was a wonderful amenity after a day of skiing. In addition, all the linens were very new...super fluffy towels were a great surprise! Spending 7 nights, we did have some frustration with the firm mattress. This of course is a quick fix with a 3 inch memory foam topper! Otherwise, we definitely plan to return.

Cozy Place!

Being our first VRBO, it was a little nerve wracking when we arrived from the other side of the country to find the door code provided wasn’t working. I tried calling the property manager and main numbers listed multiple times, but no one would answer or call back. I finally found a third phone number in the welcome brochure to call where I finally reached someone who promptly resolved the issue, 30 minutes later. Other than this issue, the place was better than described! Very cozy and clean overall, and the heated floors were phenomenal. Some frustrations: I couldn’t find the outdoor dumpster in the dark the morning of our departure, there was basically no freezer space, and the single small sink made it tough to do dishes. Otherwise, I’d still probably book this place again and hope the code works the first time!
