I booked this beautiful house for my sister as a treat for her 60th birthday with her husband and her grown up kids and my hubby and I. Unfortunately my hubby got COVID for the first time and so we were unable to go. But my sister and her family did and she absolutely LOVED the house, and it's location. She was impressed that all the heaters in the house had been turned on and just how lovely the house was. She felt very special and spoiled. THANK YOU SO MUCH
We had a lovely 2-night stay at Manawa on Kawaha this February. Even with the overcast weather, the views were great. Our contact at InnList was very responsive to all of our inquiries.
We were surprised to find out that air conditioning is only available on the lower level. Fortunately, this wasn't an issue since the temperature drops significantly in the evenings, so we were always comfortable upstairs. The kitchen has most supplies you will need. It would be helpful if they provided everyday kitchen supplies like aluminum foil, plastic wrap, and such, but otherwise it was well stocked.
The only other thing worth noting is that there were signs everywhere that recommend not opening windows, and if you do, to be sure that the screens are in place because they suffer from trout flies. These flies are pretty small, a lot like gnats. Additionally, they suggest drawing the curtains when you have the lights on in the evening to prevent attracting them. We had no issues with them at all.
This is a lovely home, with beautiful views in a quiet neighborhood. We would definitely stay there again.
Thank you!
