DESCRIPTION:
Ideal for corporate guests, the three-level Thornbury Entertainer Townhouse is nestled snugly in a very small townhouse complex in Clarendon St, Thornbury, across the road from Psarakos Market, and just 150m from High St. Here you can find everything you need within one block. It really is amazing what you can find here; and it is very quiet. You dont hear a thing at night!

Perfect for four, your StayCentral property has a fully equipped kitchen, large living and dining area, one king bedroom with ensuite courtyard, one double bedroom with desk. Upstairs is a balcony, an undercover, rooftop, entertaining area. Your boutique townhouse includes high quality furnishings and appliances, linen, towels, and full laundry facilities.

The king bedroom looks on to it's own private rear courtyard, and has daylight and blockout blinds as well as a large wardrobe. It has a single outdoor setting where you can sit and relax with a good book and a glass of wine if you wish.
The shower has a great rainforest shower head, and is big enough for two.
The double bedroom also has daylight and blockout blinds as well as a good size wardrobe; and its own bathroom right next to it.

Thornbury Townhouse is a private residence that is only available when the owners are away. It has been designed for entertaining friends and colleagues all year round. The highlight of this townhouse is the ROOFTOP DECK with:

Year-round weather protection with the electrically-controlled vergola that closes automatically if it starts to rain
Opening and closing windows
Tree-top views of sunsets
Black strip heater
Dimmer-controlled down-lighting
Butlers pantry with dishwasher and everything you need such as crockery, cutlery, utensils, mini blankets (if you prefer not to use the heating), frying pan, saucepans etc

In addition there is a balcony with a wide, double-opening door off the living area with a small table and chairs to watch the sunsets.

Note from the owner:
I moved in here without knowing the area, and am constantly amazed by what shops and services I find nearby. It is so close to almost everything. I was worried about noise from the nearby trams but I have never heard one; even at night. The cream on the cake though was the Psarakos Market directly across the road, I can buy anything I need there. I can even jump on a tram to the city and be there in no time; without needing to find a car park! Then there are the sunsets from the balcony and the rooftop as well! I hope you enjoy my piece of quiet as much as I do.

LOCATION:
Thornbury Townhouse is located a stones throw from High St, city trams, cafes, restaurants, everyday shopping and every service you could need. You can get a haircut, get your car serviced, go to a doctor or dentist, duck into the chemist/post office, go to the gym or shop for the grandkids. There is also a huge supermarket, fishmonger, butcher, chicken shop, florist, jeweller and huge deli just across the road.

Getting There
It's easy to get to Thornbury Townhouse. From the airport, you can just take a taxi or call an Uber. If youre coming from the city, jump on tram No. 86 and get off at Clarendon St. Alternatively, you can take the train on the Mernda Line from Flinders St Station and get off at Croxton Railway Station. It's only a few minutes walk with your luggage.

Getting Around
The frequent trams and trains are brilliant. From your townhouse, the trams are only 150 metres away on High St and the trains are about a five minute walk to Croxton Station.

Guest Interaction
We send you instructions on how to collect your keys on site from our greeters, once your booking is confirmed. Our office is remote from the apartment, so we communicate by phone or email. We always check with you within 24 hours of arrival to make sure that everything is okay, but we are available by phone and email for extended office hours every day.
Full directions instructions about your apartment will be provided once your booking is confirmed with StayCentral.
Also, if you only travel on the trams within the city grid, it's free, and you don't need a Myki card.

Late Arrivals
For guests arriving between 22:00 and 08:00 there is a late arrival fee of $100.00For no shows, there is a no show fee of $100For Public Holiday arrivals, there is an extra surcharge of $50

SECURITY BOND - FOR SOME GUESTSFor stays of 28+ nights and bookings made within 5 days of arrival, you will be required to pay a refundable bond of $1200.00. Payments of this bond by credit card or International Bank Transfer will incur fees which are not refundable. Please note bonds may be requested at the managers discretion. Bonds are due 7 days before arrival and are refunded within 14 days of departure. The bond will be debited for any damage, missing items, excessive cleaning or food or rubbish removal.
