Brand New sleeper sofa & new patio furniture for Spring! Incredible views span from the pool to the ocean from this 3rd floor 3 bedroom,3 bath villa in the oceanfront, gated community of Shorewood. This beautiful villa has a private balcony with plenty of seating. Perfect for al fresco dining or just enjoying the view; begin and end your days out here overlooking the pool and the Atlantic and all just steps to the beach, the zero-entry pool, baby pool, and spa. Shorewood's location is within walking distance to the World Famous Tiki Hut, Pool Bar Jim’s, Coligny Plaza, restaurants, shopping, and the new Low Country Celebration Park, Playground, Children’s Museum, Amphitheater, and greenspace makes it perfect for the whole family!

The 3-bedroom, 3 bath villa sleeps 8 with a King-sized bed in the spacious Master suite, complete with cable TV, private walk-out to the balcony, large closets, and ensuite full bath with tub/shower combination. Windows in the Master provide views of the lush landscape, pool, and ocean! The second bedroom has 2 Twin-sized beds with plenty of storage and cable TV. The third bedroom has a Queen-sized bed and ensuite full bath with tub/shower combination. There Living Room sofa Sleeper is a Queen-sized bed for additional sleeping accommodations. A Pack & play is available in the villa for your little ones!!

The open floor plan allows the well-equipped kitchen to flow easily into the dining area and large living area. Beautiful furniture in the living room includes a comfortable Queen sofa sleeper, chairs, and accent tables. All TVs in the villa are equipped with Spectrum cable.

The kitchen is well stocked for all of your cooking and entertaining needs! Full-sized appliances, as well as a Keurig coffee pot, toaster oven, blender, cooking utensils, and more! The washer and dryer are conveniently located off of the kitchen in a utility closet complete with iron and ironing board.

The dining area seats 6 or you may choose to dine or enjoy coffee or cocktails on the open-air balcony to enjoy ocean breezes and beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean! If you are an early riser, you will not want to miss our beautiful sunrises on the beach! Why not grab a coffee and make the quick walk to the beach on Shorewood's private boardwalk....you won't be disappointed!

Our home comes with 4 beach chairs, beach wagon, and 4 beach towels.

Shorewood's zero-entry, salt-water pool is heated in March & April and October & November. These dates may change and that is out of our control. There is an expansive sundeck, poolside restrooms, and outdoor shower available!  There is a beach wagon, beach towels, and beach chairs in the villa for your use during your stay - please leave as much sand on the beach as possible when returning it to the villa!! Enjoy!

No Smoking. No Pets. Please enjoy yourself and treat our home like you would treat your own. Do not take furniture out of the villa or move it from one room to another. No golf carts, trailers, kayaks, or canoes are allowed on the property. Bikes must be secured in the bike racks provided. Parking pass required.

Guest Access:
Enjoy the entire villa! A smart lock code will be provided a few days prior to check-in for easy access to the property. 1 parking pass is required and included with your reservation.

The Neighborhood:
Shorewood is a gated community. We provide our guest the gate code to the front gate and the beach gate after booking confirmation. Parking Passes are required. 1 pass will be left for our guest.A premier southeast barrier island off of the coasts of South Carolina and Georgia. Voted the "Best Island in the US" in 2016, 2017, 2018 & 2019 by Conde Naste Traveler. Walk to The Dunes House Oceanfront restaurant and bar or the beautiful beaches of Palmetto Dunes. Ride your bike, walk or take the Breeze Trolley to locations from the South End to Mid-island! Also, from April - October, call for Palmetto Dune's free transportation, the Dunes Buggy, from your home or villa to the beach, restaurants, the General Store, or Shelter Cove and enjoy all the amenities that Palmetto Dunes has for you! Enjoy easy days relaxing in the sun, sand, and surf on some of the best beaches in the country. Get into the swing of things with 24 world class golf courses and 350 tennis courts, and experience our rich and vibrant history. Getting Around:
The villa is located in the beautiful heart of the South End of the Island. Easy bike ride or walk to the beach. Plenty of bike paths for easy commuting around the island.

Other Things to Note:
Bugs
We get asked about Palmetto Bugs all the time. Yes, these are roaches and are found pretty much everywhere outside in South Carolina but we like to call them Palmetto Bugs as it makes them sound nicer! They can be pretty big, can fly and will scurry around the floor but they are largely harmless. They do occasionally come inside, especially at night and during or after any storms. Rest assured all of our homes are professionally treated monthly for pests. Any bugs that manage to get inside will die quickly.

According to Eric Benson, Ph.D. professor and extension entomologist at Clemson University “It has nothing to do with cleanliness or the economic conditions of the area,” said Benson. “They could be around the nicest home or the nicest hotel or resort.”

If you leave the doors or windows open, especially at night, you will likely see a few. This is perfectly normal. If you see 20 or 30 all in one place then please let us know. This might mean we have a nest somewhere in the home and we'll need to get pest control out to take care of it. This is extremely rare!

Please don't worry about bugs, enjoy your vacation. You'll likely not see any while you are here, we just include this note so you understand it's not unusual to see some and it doesn't mean the home isn't well looked after!
