The house was great! Just what we needed for our group. We had one issue with the coffee maker but the host responded and resolved very quickly! We were very pleased with the experience!!

House had everything you'd need. Property was private and well maintained. Property manager was very easy to get ahold of and responded very quickly. We live in Austin and this is just far enough away to feel like a real nice staycation. Will be back.

Our family of 12 just stayed at this wonderful VRBO for a family gathering getaway. We had a wonderful time playing pool, shuffleboard, and Pac-man inside, as well as playing in the pool and lounging in the chairs around the firepit and hammocks outside. The property is very clean and the kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. All of the bedrooms were very comfortable. Communication with the hosts was very fast and they answered all of our questions. We were excited to see the shuffleboard table when we arrived, but we couldn't find the extra sand. The hosts sent some by the next day and we were in business! We'd definitely love to come back for a future gathering!

This home was perfect for our family get together. The beds were cozy, the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed and the living spaces were perfectly accommodating for the 12 of us! The pool, jacuzzi, outdoor fireplace and pit were all we needed to have a quaint staycation. The hosts were great with communication and met our every request. I highly recommend! The little ones didn’t want to leave and we plan on coming back soon!

Beautiful place!

We felt right at home and it is gorgeous! You can see deer in the mornings and not to mention the gorgeous pool area! It was perfect for the family!

Great Place for Family Time

Our family, 14 to 77 years, stayed here and had a great time. Lots of of good seating in and outside of the house to sit and talk. The pool/hot tub was a hit and we enjoyed sitting around the gas fire pit. Very clean, and comfortable. We would stay here again.

Beautiful, comfortable, convenient

Greatly enjoyed our stay here. The house was spotless and comfortable; kids loved the chair swings and pool, and dawn and dusk sky views were awesome. Would definitely go bak.

Wonderful property

What an oasis! This property has so much to offer. The kitchen is well stocked, beds were comfortable and the privacy was excellent! We will be booking again.

Beautiful, quiet home!

We hosted a women’s retreat for 14 at Harvest Moon and it was perfect! Clean, ridiculously well stocked, beautifully decorated, and everything (such as appliances and air conditioning) worked wonderfully. Would absolutely stay again!

Long weekend stay

The home is about 30 minutes outside Dripping Springs but that is so nice at night when you’re sitting in the hot tub or fire pit. The sky is so clear and beautiful!

Perfect Getaway

This is my second trip to Star Canyon Ranch and it was every bit as good as my first. We started every morning on the front porch with the sunrise and humming birds. Great hikes, cooled off in the pool and made awesome meals (because I cooked) in the well stocked and functional kitchen. The house is immaculate and it's just a perfect reset - only 30 min from Austin. Highly recommend.

Eyes of Texas

We had a wonderful time ringing in the New Year with our adult children and their spouses and significant others relaxing in the beautiful Texas hill country. And I got a great picture of myself (Texas-Ex) with all my favorite Aggies underneath the Longhorn! Priceless.

Beautiful Space and Responsive company

The space was stunning. The home is very well stock and has high end products. The beds were comfortable and the place is very well kept. The rental company responded quickly to all of my questions which is not something you see all the time. The place is very remote so it's best to get groceries and stay on the property. The only issue we had was during heavy rain the wifi did go out but it was resolved when the rain stopped. There is plenty of wildlife and this was the perfect choice for our working retreat. We would def stay here again!

Quiet Escape, Gorgeous Pool Area, Exceptional Amenities and Accoutrements

This house was simply amazing for our group. The room configuration allowed everyone to have their private space at night and the open set-up in the living areas gave us plenty of room to be together without feeling cramped. The towels were top of the line, I mean luxurious. My brother commented that even if there were no water, the towels would make up for it! I was impressed by the tableware and cutlery and how well the kitchen was stocked in general. Enough for an army and stunning. Everything was immaculate. The outside area was a dream. Different seating areas in front to watch the birds, in back to have morning coffee in one of the hanging chairs on the back patio, or relaxing by the real fire pit. We used the smores kit the host provided and what a treat! Yeah, that's right - the hosts provided a smores kit! And the POOL AREA WAS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTUFUL with many lounge chairs and a lit conversation seating area with a gas fire pit. Plenty of seating in every outdoor area. They really thought of everything. And to top it all off, the host was kind, attentive and responsive. I will say that it IS in the country so the last few miles of road take some getting used to but the house is worth it! SUPERB EXPERIENCE! And the HEB delivers!
