Centrally located Claytor Lake home.

1/2 mile to public boat dock and main park entrance or a short walk to fishing docks, public beach access and boat rentals. Home is adjacent to the state park with access to the trail within 50 feet from the driveway.

Fully stocked kitchen - with small appliances, cookware and utensils for meal prep and family dining.

Gamer on includes fooseball, air hockey, and arcades. Two televisions have been preloaded with access to Netflix, Hulu, HboMax, Disneyplus and Discovery plus.

Lakeview balcony accessed from two bedrooms, with additional covered patio. Outdoor balcony rockers available year around. Grill and additional outside furniture is seasonal from April-October.

16x40 private pool - depth from 4ft to 8ft.
Pool season is Memorial Day - Labor Day. **
Note: Swim at your own risk, children must be supervised.

Central location 15 min to RU, 30 min to VT. Home is located 5 min from the interstate and 10 from grocery stores and restaurants.

Circle driveway easily accommodates boats and parking.

Wonderful house, great stay. So peaceful with gorgeous views, deer everywhere. House has absolutely everything you need and the arcade games and air hockey were so fun. We were staying for a wedding at the state park and it was convenient for family to come in and out and the bride to get ready. Lots of folks in and out and never felt crowded. We enjoyed it and would definitely stay again! Host was very prompt to respond to questions.

Wonderful summer visit

We had a group of family age ranges adults to seven years old. Everyone had a wonderful time and the game room and pool especially were big pluses. There was a brief tower outage and the owner was quick to respond to messages and had flashlights delivered within an hour.

Graduation weekend win

Fabulous weekend! 30 minute drive to Va Tech for graduation weekend. We loved the lake views with coffee and toes in the pool! Added bonus…my hokie loves galaga…so the video games rivaled our trip to the barcade! You’ll live it here!!

The property is beautiful. Interior is excellent and spacious. Communication with the property owner was prompt, professional, and very courteous. Highly recommended.

Great Spot

This would be the second time we've stayed here. Great location near the state park. The pool has been redone and is excellent. A great place to unplug and rejuvenate yourself.

Beautiful place to relax

Our family loved the location…even though the weather was not on our side for this vacation, we still loved hanging out in the house and enjoying the view of the lake.

Great family vacation

House was great. Two balconies were great! We saw deer fawns suckling their mom. We saw lots of deer, rabbits, and birds right off the decks! The lakeview was perfect and the pool was great! We really liked the location!

Awesome getaway

This place is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed the private pool, beautiful scenery, and family time. It was close to nearby stores and restaurants if needed. The owners are absolutely beyond amazing and accommodating and very quick to respond to any questions I had during my stay. We would highly recommend staying here!

Perfect family get away

This is our second time here, and each time we live it more and more. My oldest went to school in Christiansburg and decided to stay. And your home is perfect for when we come down from Ohio to visit. Can't wait to see you all next year!

Purdue vs. VT football

Good weekend. 3 families came to watch the game. Very convenient to the campus. Accommodations were very adequate for the 3 families all with teenagers. Weather did not cooperate but house was very comfy and we enjoyed our time together

Amazing house!!

We had our family vacation at this house and the setup was perfect for younger kids. We could put them to bed and head to the arcade room for some games and never had to worry about waking them up. The pool was AMAZING and the view was beautiful!! We spent almost every day out there at some point. Host was very attentive and helpful and house was very clean and well stocked! Will be staying there again!!

Beautiful house and view

We enjoyed staying in this house very much. The view of the lake is beautiful! We saw many deer. The state park with trails and a marina were very close. It is easy to access from I-81. The pool was cleaned every other day during our stay. The owner is very responsive.The house was spacious and well-kept. The kitchen had all the baking and cooking pans and utensils we needed to cook hot meals. There were plenty of plates, bowls and cups for our group of 9 people. It would be helpful if there were more towel racks, especially in the upstairs bathroom. This house would not be good for individuals with mobility issues because of steps up and down into rooms on the first floor. If we visit this area in the future, we would enjoy staying in this house again.

Beautiful time with family

We had a wonderful time together at your property. Thank you for sharing your property at such a special time for us. The house was beautiful just as pictured. We enjoyed the pool, fishing at the lake, as well as going for a hike in the state park. Everyone complemented how comfortable the beds were as well when we woke in the morning. Check in and check-out were flowless. Thanks for a great weekend!

2025 Radford University Graduation!!

Our stay was amazing and the property exceeded our expectations. It was very clean, the view of the lake was amazing, and everyone loved the game room. The Host opened the pool up while we were there, however due to the weather we never had the opportunity to use it. The only things I/we noted was the ice machine in the fridge wasn’t working, we weren’t able to get the TV service to work on the main room (it worked great in the game room), and the door hinges squeak when the doors were opened on the rooms. These items however are minor and didn’t affect our stay or enjoyment of the property. We saw deer, squirrels, rabbits, and a chipmunk all at the residence. We would definitely stay here again when in Radford. Thank you for making our 2025 graduation weekend amazing!!!!
