The house is very clean and spacious, allowing for a good amount of sleeping accommodations. The neighborhood is in transition, quite a mix of old & new, quaint or crummy, modern or tear down ready. I always felt safe. It is a very good value. There is plenty of driveway room for tandem parking of two medium size cars or SUVs, behind the closed fence.

The house really stood out. Just like the pictures,nice and clean. We had no issues. The neighborhood was not too welcoming but we had no issues with anyone. Very quiet and calm at night.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The house was adorable and clean. The kitchen was fully stocked (although I do wish there was more than one kitchen towel). Our stay was booked for 7 nights, but we got locked out for about an hour on the 2nd day due to an error in the app, but the reservations manager was attentive and helpful. We would stay here again.

There were mice that ate our loaf of bread on the counter. After we saw that we noticed mouse traps around, so they obviously know there is a pest issue. When I emailed them, they just said thanks for letting us know. I had to ask for a partial refund. Otherwise it's a decent property just not in a super great part of town.

Prior to visiting there was reports of mice. Exterminators came on Wednesday. There was a rat which we saw on Tuesday. And reported this. The RAT was caught on Saturday. This RAT was hugh. And there is more than one. Also house is located in rundown area We should have been notified of infestation prior to checking in and giving the opportunity to cancel. No one wants to pay what we paid to live with rodents. They got into our food as wellWe travel alot. We have never had this problem before. Very disappointed

This was a great find! The location was convenient to the livestock show and many other attractions. The house was very clean and well maintained. Communication with the host was simple and prompt. We would stay again!

Family wedding and vacation

House so accomodating. Largest bedroom back of house wirh own bathroom. Two separate bedroom towards front if house with bathroom. Kitchen very nice and spacious.Nice that there is a gate for two vehicles. Neighborhood is currently being upgraded. Everyone was pleasant and quite. Enjoyed our stay immensely. Near downtown.

SA Stock Show

We looked for a location close to the Stock show and this property was 8 minutes away. Also very close to downtown. Cute and cozy home, decorated beautifully and the back yard is amazing as well.

can it get any hotter in here?

The thermostat was stuck on 83. We roasted the second night we were there. We also didn’t find directions on how to use Roku, and since we’re not regular users, it was very confusing to use the television. Loved the supply of bath towels, and hand towels, but where are the face cloths?Loved the back patio and pergola area. Parking was fantastic, decorating comfort cleanliness was above par.

Will visit again

Besides a couple of hiccups; dishwasher dripping, floors cracked no dish towels, and house cleaning products . Everything else is managed well. Ample coffee pods, kitchen utensils, blankets and regular towels. Neighborhood is very sketchy so the gate around parking space is very smart. The decor is beautiful, useful and just enough. Will definitely use them again.

Lovely house

Renting was very easy. Communication was superb. I am not familiar with San Antonio so the neighborhood was a surprise since it did not reflect the type of house we rented. That was concerning. Overall though we really enjoyed our stay.

House is decorated nicely, very comfortable size wise and use of space. House has been rented for a while and needs a deep clean vs a surface cleaning. Kitchen was clean but counters were dirty. Top of fridge has a think layer of dirt and party favor left by a previous rental. Front bathroom had some dirt on counter. Back bedroom floor has a very large soft spot that sponged when stepping on it, I put my clothing in the closet shelves and it ended up with a white powder all over it. Back bathroom also has a soft spot on the floor, feels like possible termite damage to the wood. When the AC kicks on the lights flicker for a moment. I appreciated the how quiet the neighborhood was, looks like the area is going through some gentrification and there are pockets of nice homes vs the rest of the neighborhood. Overall the house needs some minor improvements and a good deep clean around and under furnishings, the bed had some long female hair on the pillow, the mattress was nice and I liked that a sound machine was included in every room, we heard a dog barking throughout the night but were able to tune it out with the sound machine. I hope these minor things can be addressed because the house is close to downtown and Lackland air force base. It made it easy for use to go between the two.

Diamond in the rough

When we found artsy we were excited! Looked promising , home looks clean & modern. Backyard is charming. Everything is 7-15 min away, for traveler’s using Uber to get around. When we arrived we realized that the area was rougher than we thought, based on photos we saw from listing. The trash bin was sitting right up front of curb when we arrived, packed to the brim. No worries , I figured trash pick up was that day or maybe the following morning. Got into the property everything looks clean and great except for no hand soap in any of the bathrooms and no dishwashing pods for dishwasher. No big deal I’m sure they can bring it. Reached out through the Vrbo app & was told they would TRY to bring it. Went out to the backyard that night to relax & enjoy the nice comfy sitting area. When coming back in we heard something next door backyard & could see a homeless man squatting at a vacant property sleeping on a pizza box. Still hadn’t brought the handsoap to us yet by the way. Next morning is where I lost my patience and started realizing we made a mistake booking this property. I wake up to noise coming from the front of the house ,peek out & see 2 huge stray dogs going through the trash that’s still sitting out front! The bin was knocked over & trash all over the front of the property dogs tearing through it & leaving a huge mess. Well they eventually take off & i immediately notify through the vrbo app that someone needs to come pick up the trash because flies and bugs are accumulating-hot humid day. I was told that they would have to see if someone was available because it was the “weekend”. As this is happening we start cooking breakfast had just gotten groceries delivered & the poor delivery guy had to park kind of far down to avoid walking over all the trash. We start cooking, lots of spices available to use except salt or pepper!Ugh!! I realize asking for this won’t happen in time so I have to place another door dash order to bring us salt & pepper. Whoever restocks needs to do a better job. They never sent anyone for the trash pick up so my fiancé had to go out and pick up the nastiest trash himself! Then places a huge rock on it so those dogs won’t get in again!Trash pickup is till following week according to neighbor. We go out for the day arrive to the things we had asked for when we got back. All good again until we see a huge roach in kitchen that night & no raid or bug spray available. We stayed 4 nights. Bad customer service. Rip off!
