We had a wonderful stay at this VRBO! The host was absolutely amazing. She gave us great ideas of things to do with our young kids and made us feel at home. We loved the house! Itâs updated nicely and is cozy. Highly recommend staying here. Centrally located so you can be to all the great tourists sites within 10-15 minute drive and some you can even walk too.
This house gave us nostalgic feelings - because it had the historical charm of houses we grew up in/experienced. The house has been updated for a current-day comfortable stay while keeping the historical integrity of the house intact. We did initially have some question about the location of the house; however, we (women) felt comfortable and safe. One previous guest/reviewer commented that he heard trains all night. We did hear trains on occasion, but it was not disruptive and did not interrupt our sleep. The location was great - close to shopping, the River Walk, and a grocery store. The proprietors could not have been more responsive and engaging.
This is a great place to stay in San Antonio. Some great restaurants within a couple miles, downtown not far away. A bit chilly in February, but our host took good care of us.
The location is a convenient drive to all the attractions throughout San Antonio. The interior of the home is cute and clean, beds were comfortable. Provided the basic necessities for our weeklong stay. Communication with the host was always prompt and helpful.
Property was very charming and clean! Each room was decorated with beautiful furniture and comfortable beds. The host was very accommodating to our needs and did a great job communicating all of the details as well as answering all of our questions. The location was great! A short drive to downtown near plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, and shopping! Would definitely visit again!
Home is all the pictures show. Itâs big, clean and updated. Also, itâs very close to downtown and riverwalk. We loved the location and the walking trails across the street are easy access too. Great place!
The house was nice, clean and relaxing. Beds were comfortable and kitchen stocked.
The neighborhood is up and coming with close proximity to downtown.
The walking trails and park that are across the street were an added bonus.
My mom and I booked this for our girls trip to San Antonio. House was beautiful with its historic charm, open concept, and very clean. Very accessible to all the things we wanted to do. Slept well in comfortable beds and linens. I definitely recommend and would book this home again for a return trip. Thank you for having us!
We really enjoyed our stay in this house. We chose this house over having to get multiple hotel rooms for our family. We made the right choice!
This house is very spacious, cozy and charming. It had everything we needed for our stay.
This historic home was immaculately clean and beautiful, the fence was great. The kitchen had everything we needed and the hosts were so kind. We crossed the street both days to go to the Riverwalk trail, and it was easy and so peaceful and perfect! We loved our stay, we would love to come back soon!
This property is beautiful. We were able to relax, enjoy our time together and make lifetime memories. We will book here again. It is a wonderful property. Great hosts made it even better. Thank you for allowing us to stay!
We loved this home for our weekend getaway. I fell in love with the architecture of the home and the style. We actually fell in love with the bedding and are buying it for our home. We canât wait to stay here again!
This was our first time in San Antonio and we loved our experience here. The house was perfect for us since we like to walk and it is close to the River Walk. We loved being close to all the cultural events, but not being in the downtown area.
The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The beds were comfortable and kitchen was well equipped.
The home was spotless, decor was tasteful and inviting, kitchen well stocked and the surprise was toiletries were stocked in the bathroom! Location is convenient to all things"fun to do" in San Antonio. Riverwalk, Blue Star, Pearl Brewery (6 miles) and the Quary (8 miles). We will definitely be back! Thanks Destin for providing us a nice get away!
Beautiful property that us thoughtfully appointed. We loved the close proximity to all of the main attractions in San Antonio.
Hosts were very quick to respond to messages. The home us beautifully decorated and has everything you need for a pleasant stay. I personally loved the refurbished original flooring. It is lovely.
If we are ever back in the area, we would definitely book this location!
Our family had a great stay. The music upon arrival was a wonderful touch. Destin was great to communicate with and was quick to respond with any inquiries. The location was great, we were no more than 30 minutes away from all of our destinations. Downtown was even closer than that. Plenty of restaurants within a mile or two. The house was clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We had a great time!
We had a lot of fun at this house! They have board games that the kids really enjoyed. The one bathroom made things a little difficult with how many people we had stay there, but it wasnât too bad. The owners of the property were prompt and responsive to any messages I sent them. The neighborhood driving in doesnât look very appealing, but we had no issues at all with out stay in regards to the neighborhood. A park right across the street where we took the kids was awesome! We will definitely stay again next time we come visit San Antonio. Thank you Destin and Mara
We were visiting our daughter who moved to San Antonio in June. Brought her twin and had a wonderful Christmas holiday celebration. This time we realized how close to the Riverwalk we were from the house and I made it a point to walk to the blue star District a couple times while we were there. We loved Halcyon for coffee and breakfast. We enjoyed the boat tour this time and my favorite is walking in the King William historic District. Our host have a beautiful home they make you feel welcome leave a little snacks and a bottle of wine and we appreciate it. It will be interesting to see as the Lonestar brewery district is being re-developed what new things will be coming. Thank you for offering this wonderful house. Titios on s Alamo is our favorite Tex Mex. My husband and I went out one night ourselves and enjoyed Maverickâs- food was amazing, Not cheap but worth it! Mara from Maryland
