Very dirty floors - time to replace or clean the area rug. Kitchen floor has damage in multiple places and the flooring flexes; my young son's feet got pinched numerous times. It was very convenient to have a washer/dryer stack in the kitchen. Master bath toilet seat is held on by only 1 plastic bolt and does not stay in place. Could/would never recommend staying here to others. No curtains - flood light from other building makes the 2nd bedroom light at night.

Rooms and facilities were clean. Kitchen silverware, glasses, and other items were minimal but sufficient for two (only one fork however… we made do).Great central location to the entire San Antonio metropolis and especially to medical facilities. Lots of families in the neighborhood.Great highway system for a large city.

She also gave great recommendations for nearby places to eat, which was a big help. The location is excellent—close to the hospital and surrounded by plenty of restaurants. The apartment was clean oberall. Some items like the decorative pillows had stains or dirt streaks. The A/C was off when we arrived so it felt stuffy and the bathroom next to the living room smelled like cigarettes; when we came back to the apartment to sleep on the second night, the whole apt smelled like cigarettes but as if the smell came from another unit.There were some water bottles and a bag of ice in the freezer that wasnt ours.Host was able to help setting up the tv box because it wouldn't log in.I would recommend to install vurtains in the room because the outside lights are too bright. The birds were chirping since 4 am

We rent VRBOs several times a year and I have never left one for feeling unsafe or that the house was not up to par. The place was listed as a condo online, at the entrance, it’s listed as an apartment complex. The listing never mentions being up a long concrete flight of stairs with no elevator for disabled or elderly people. My 70 year old mother is with us and has very bad knees. It was dangerous for her to go up and down these stairs. The beds are extremely uncomfortable, there are 2 flat pillows per bed, there are stains on the couch and throw pillows, one closet is so full it can’t be used, the kitchen has a soft spot on the floor that feels like you are going to fall through it. The water never got hot in the shower, it was luke warm at best. We had 3 people and there were only two towels per bathroom for 3 nights. One hand towel and a couple wash cloths. We did not have ample anything for our stay. The neighborhood does not feel safe at all. There were people watching us park and unpack and just kept walking around us. There are 3 locks on the front door, but from the outside you can only lock one of them. I have never left a bad review on a property, but this is not acceptable. Asked owner to credit back 2 nights, I would not leave a review and give her time to fix the issues. She refused to work with me at all.
