From the moment you step into casa Margarita it overwhelms you with the beauty of the Nicaraguan hand painted floor tiles, wooden doors and windows. You are transformed by the attention to detail of the home which is unlike any other home built in Hermosa Heights, a gated community in Playa Hermosa, located 20 minutes from Liberia Airport. There is a salt water infinity pool and an additional cold tub for relaxing. An outdoor shower and bathroom with a garden, and a large travertine tile outdoor area that has amazing 180 degree views of the Pacific Ocean. Inside the home, we have three bedrooms which all have private decorative wooden entrances, two and a half bathrooms and two separate Casita’s for additional privacy. The first Casita has two queen size beds, a private bathroom and a wet bar. As you step outside of the first Casita there is an outdoor grill area with a refrigerator, wet bar and grill, a sectional sofa for relaxing in the shade and a table that seats eight. The second casita has one queen size bed and private bathroom with sweeping views of the ocean.

Best view ever

This is a beautiful property! The views are like no other. It is conveniently located close to beach access and stores and restaurants. It is also within 30 minutes to zip lining and 10 minutes to dive shops.

Beautiful Costa Rica

Property was great, better than the photos. The was very clean. Easy to travel from the airport. Some things need replacement or updated. The beach towels were in very poor condition. The dishwasher needs to be replaced or professional cleaned. Some of the kitchen items could also be replaced ie. Glassware, dishes and pots and pans. But the place was BEAUTIFUL we enjoyed every day. I would like to come for another visit.

Outstanding experience

Loved our entire stay! The view is beautiful, house very clean and beds incredibly comfortable. The driveway is steep and a bit tricky but doable. Highly recommend you will not be disappointed!!

The View

The view from this property makes this heaven. You can see the ocean from all aspects of the house! Clean, well laid out, plenty of room and comfortable. The one thing that is a challenge is the driveway, the steep driveway and hairpin turn. That was a challenge. If it were not for that, it would be perfect! I would recommend this house to friends, just let them know about the driveway. But the view was worth it!

Currently the house RIGHT NEXT DOOR is being built. Very loud drilling and music starting early.

The rental agency was great in trying to work with the construction crew but I feel the listing should have been honest that the house next door was under construction. The workers were loud starting at 6am blasting music and drilling all day. Impossible to enjoy the pool and outdoor area. The house itself is gorgeous and great location to many great beaches and would recommend once house next door is built.

Beautiful House and Amazing View! Construction noise and small issues kept it from being 5 stars

I will start with the positives: -The house is beautiful and pretty new. The pictures are accurate, but don't do the view from the house justice. -The kitchen is large and overall well supplied, which was great because we ate at the house many nights. There is a large pantry, a large fridge, dishwasher (there was detergent there), toaster oven, and coffee maker. The fridge had filtered water, which we drank during our entire stay with no issues. -The pool area is amazing! The kids/young adults spent a lot of time in and around the pool. The view from the infinity pool is incredible and it is larger than it looks in the picture. We had all 9 of us in the pool, at times, with drinks in our hand enjoying the view. - The house provides bathroom towels, pool towels, and large beach towels, which was a great perk. The house also has a large washer and dryer, so we would wash towels regularly in the evening -The pool chairs were comfortable and allowed you to really enjoy the views and sunbathe at the house. -Each room (including the upstairs bathrooms) has it's own AC unit and a remote to control it. We found that the best way to keep the bedrooms cool, was to keep the doors closed during the day. -The sliding doors upstairs had screens, which allowed you to enjoy the fresh air and keep the bugs out. The negatives of the house/area: - The house has a VERY steep driveway that is scarey the first couple of times down and requires a 3 point turn at the bottom to get to the parking spots. By the end of the trip, we had gotten used to this and you will too. - Although this isn't the fault of the owners or property managers, but the house that shares a driveway is under construction and currently this construction is pretty loud. The crew started at 7AM each day and worked each day until 6PM (except Sunday). I estimate construction will continue for another 6-9 months, since they do everything by hand. - The kitchen lacked a few key items - No cutting board (we bought one and left it), no baking sheet - The WiFi was OK when it worked, but it definitely went in and out most days and several days we had no internet. Overall, this is an incredible property and I would rent it again. Playa Hermosa is a great, quiet beach with a few restaurants Aquasport was our go to for drinks on the beach and lunch. Ginger and Hacienda Blu were both really good for dinner.

Wonderful time

We had a wonderful time at Casa Margarita. The location was close to many pretty beaches and cool restaurants. Make sure you get a 4 wheel drive as the neighborhood has steep hills!

Beautiful view!!

The house was absolutely gorgeous! The view was out this world! The house has a lot of room to accommodate a big group. The only thing that I think needs to be disclosed is, the is a VERY steep hill that you have to walk down/up to get to & from the house. If you have health conditions, I would definitely speak with management to let them know you will need a ride up & down that hill.
