About the home
âBeaches on Churchâ is a delightful double-storey family home in Cowes just a short walk from the Cowes beach and Anderson Street boat ramp and a short drive to the supermarkets, restaurants & cafĂ©s of Cowes. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
Downstairs you will find the open plan Kitchen/Dining/Living room (with TV, DVD player & chromecast), Bedroom 1 (with TV), walk-in-robe and ensuite (with shower & toilet). The fully equipped Laundry (with washing machine - clothes dryer in the Garage) has a separate additional toilet and there is internal access from the garage into the home. Upstairs is the Family Room (with TV), Bedrooms 2 and 3 (each with BIR) plus the main Bathroom (with bath, shower & toilet).
Outdoor Areas
The side and rear private yard is enclosed and provides a perfect grassy spot for children and pets alike (small dogs only please). There is a table with chairs for 8 people and gas BBQ. The double Garage contains the clothes dryer, a double sofa bed, an outdoor table with 4 swivel chairs, a bar fridge, plus a fold up table tennis table and has internal access into the home and rear yard. Also in the garage is some beach equipment that guests are welcome to use, including 8 outdoor foldup chairs, a shade canopy, and a beach trolley. There is space for 2 cars in the garage with a Tesla charger (if the table tennis table is folded up) and another car (and/or a boat) in the driveway.
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, L'Or Phillips coffee machine (Nespresso compatible pods), toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge (plus an additional bar fridge in the garage) as well as a dishwasher, electric oven and induction cook top.
Heating/Cooling Systems
There are wall mounted reverse cycle airconditioners in each of the two living rooms (upstairs family room and downstairs living room), plus stand-alone fans and column heaters in each of the bedrooms.
Bedding Configuration
This home has 4 beds, 2 foldout beds, and 1 sofa bed, accommodating up to 10 guests:
Bedroom 1 (Downstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 2 (Upstairs): One Queen bed and One Single foldout bed
Bedroom 3 (Upstairs): Two Single beds and One Single foldout bed
The upstairs Living Room has a Double sofa bed, suitable for 2 adults or children.
Please note: the foldout beds are stored in the robes of Bedrooms 2 & 3.
Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies. All bookings are subject to approval, pending Guest verification process - Local council restrictions are in place for this property and compliance is mandatory.
