About the home
âThe Seas at Phillip Islandâ is a delightful single-storey family home in Cowes just a short drive or comfortable walk from the beach and supermarkets, restaurants & cafĂ©s of Cowes. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
The main bedroom is at the front of the home off a central hallway, and has an ensuite (with shower & toilet) that leads through to a walk in robe. Bedroom 2 (with built in robes) is off the same hallway that opens into the 2nd living room (with tv). The huge rear open plan kitchen / dining / living room (with smart tv) provides a great space to relax with family & friends. The home has a brand new Coonara style fireplace. A separate hall off the living room leads to bedrooms 3 & 4 (each with built in robes), the main bathroom (with bath & shower), a separate toilet and full sized laundry. The double garage has internal access into the home.
Outdoor Areas
There is an outdoor table for 8 plus 2 seats with a coffee table overlooking the enclosed rear yard with a side gate (perfect for children or pets). There is space for 1 car to park in the garage (plus a bar fridge) and room for 1-2 more cars in the driveway.
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Aldi pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, 900mm electric oven and induction cook top. There is also a bar fridge in the garage.
Heating/Cooling Systems
There is a wall mounted reverse cycle airconditioner in the Living/Kitchen/Dining room plus one additional stand-alone heater and three fans which can be used where required. There is also a fireplace (wood not provided) in the living room.
Bedding Configuration
This home has 6 beds, accommodating up to 10 guests:
Bedroom 1 (Downstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 2 (Downstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 3 (Downstairs): One Tri-bunk
Bedroom 4 (Downstairs): One Tri-bunk
Please note: the Tri-bunks have a double bed base with a single bed above it.
Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies.
