Dutchmans Bay Escape - 45A Thurlow

Dutchmans Bay Escape at 45A Thurlow Ave Nelson Bay is in the perfect holiday location. Only a 3 minute walk to renowned Dutchies Beach and playground, only a 3 minute drive to Nelson Bay Town Centre with shopping and cafes and almost as close to D'Albora Marina with an easy 1km walk along the bridle path beside the foreshore.

Downstairs you will find the double garage, entrance, two bedrooms, main bathroom and fully equipped laundry. The back bedroom has the added bonus of glass doors that open out to the manicured rear yard. Upstairs is the main bedroom with balcony and ensuite, 4th bedroom, powder room, living area, entertaining balcony with BBQ and fully equipped kitchen.

Everything has been thought of to ensure you have the best holiday possible, from coffee pod machine, Air Conditioning, Wi-Fi, multiple TV's, comfortable lounges, bean bags for the kids and all linen provided. Just bring your beach towels.

Note: This property will not accept school leaver or party bookings. It is the perfect setup for 4 adults and 4 kids.

Perfect for the 6 of us staying at our favourite location near Duchies Beach. Pleasantly impressed with the cleanliness of the home upon entering the property, spacious and had all of our needs catered for. All in all cannot fault this property as our home away from home. We will certainly be booking again!

House was great

The house was perfect. Clean and just as it was advertised. The service from the agents was not so good. Dryer broke and they could not organise themselves to have it installed.

Noone was available to coordinate delivery during your stay to assist with the install as per phone conversation. The Clothes Dryer was installed on your departure as a result. Location Location

The property was well designed for the purpose of our stay. Generally clean however needs a little freshening up as it looks a bit tired eg. paintwork & air-con grills. The pantry was thoughtfully stocked with essentials as were kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment. Adequate keys were provided which was very handy. Overall we enjoyed our stay at this property immensely.

Location and cleanliness

Location was perfect and property was very clean. Only suggestion is new beds required as they were rock hard and so uncomfortable, no one could sleep.

Wonderful property close a kid friendly beach and close to everywhere.

Property was spacious, clean and tidy. Getting around to all the attractions of Port Stephens was very easy. There is a secluded beach close by. Would definately stay there again.

Great weekend getaway

Venessa & John were fabulous hosts of this quiet little townhouse. We were 7 adults and a 1 year old and the house suited perfectly. It was an overcast weekend, and the house provided a great view of the lake (which was only about 150m from the front door!) and plenty of indoor and outdoor leisure space. The kitchen had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful family weekend

Fabulous weekend spent with the family. This home had plenty of room for us all and a wonderful open plan area to enjoy each other. The house was spotless and very comfortable with plenty of seating, beds and bathrooms for us all. Very close to everything beach, shops and the walking path to the marina. The sunset view from the verandah was stunning and the children enjoyed the playset in the backyard. We would definitely book again.

Beautiful memories

Our family stayed during the holidays. It was clean and tidy with beautiful views and only a short walk to the marina. Vanessa was excellent in assisting us move dates due to COVID, this flexibility and understanding was much appreciated.

Lovely property in fantastic location

We had a lovely stay, the property is a great size and is very clean, comfortable and well equipped. We were two couples both with our 1 years olds and the layout was perfect. It’s located a very close walk to the beach and has lovely views of the water. The only dampener was the terrible weather as we don’t feel like we were able to appreciate/explore the area and also utilize the lovely garden and swing set out the back which was disappointing as it was our first getaway with our bubs, but obviously completely out of anyone’s control. Would highly recommend and stay again.
