This little cottage is perfect if you have dogs. A park right across the street was really convenient and 2 blocks away from a strip mall that has a lot of food and drink. We really enjoyed are stay there and look forward to staying again.

Loved this cool, funky beach cottage :) nestled on the peninsula near lots of homes yet was quiet and comfortable. A good value, considering the location! Steps from Newport Beach lifeguard 44, also right on the marina which was fun, seeing all the boats. Very clean, small kitchen yet had everything we needed, we cooked a lot and enjoyed the front patio. A nice park directly across the street, this place would be perfect for a family with little ones. Did not have my grandkids with me but wished I did. Will def come back next time I'm in town.

We really enjoyed our stay overall! The property was clean, in a great location, and we loved being so close to the beach. The space was nice and had pretty much everything we needed.There were just a few things that could use improvement. The angle of the shower head made it pretty difficult to shower comfortably. The portable A/C also didn’t seem to cool the space much at all, so we were pretty uncomfortable and hot at night. We also had quite a few flies inside during our stay.Other than those things, we had a good experience and enjoyed our time in Newport Beach. With a better cooling solution and a couple small fixes, this would be an even better place to stay.

Everything about this property was great! The host was prompt with communication and answered all of my questions. The check-in process was so easy and seamless. The property was perfect for us and even better than we expected. There were higher than normal temperatures and the host provided fans which made sleeping easier and comfortable. It was clean and well organized and had everything we needed and more. The location was amazing with a park just across the street, peaceful neighborhood and still just basically a block from the beach as well as around the corner from a small strip mall with restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Great little cottage in a perfect location for a southern California getaway. Scott was an excellent host, and the property was exactly as described- it’s a quaint cottage with a park across the street, easy walk to the beach, and close to both Newport and Huntington. We rented beach cruiser bikes and biked everywhere. Very quiet, and it was nice not to be in a shared building. Thanks for a great stay!

**Rating: **We had a wonderful stay and would love to visit again! The property was incredibly cute and, most importantly, very clean. We were traveling with our pet, so finding such a welcoming, pet-friendly space was a huge win—especially with a park conveniently located right nearby for walks.The location is hard to beat; we loved being so close to both the beach and the marina. The host even left a thoughtful welcome gift of a bottle of Chardonnay and a delicious bag of local kettle-style chips, which was such a nice personal touch. Inside, the bed was very comfortable and the amenities provided were excellent, especially considering the great price point. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and well-located getaway!

The host left a personalized card with wine and locally made chips! It was great for my daughter (2yo) to stay and have such close access to the beach, short walk to Newport pier, and a playground literally right outside our window. The kitchen had all the necessary stuff to cook meals for ourselves. I would definitely stay here again!

Loved the location and the home was just the right size for us and our son. However, our bed had sand between the sheets, indicating that it had not been cleaned between stays. Otherwise the house was clean.

Friends Vacation

Best Friends who used to live in Orange County and have now moved out of state back for a relaxing vacation, beach time and visiting friends and family still in the area. Brought my new puppy who is a year old so the dog park across the street was perfect!

The floors were not clean-they had not been mopped. Made my feet black each time I walked on the floor. The pull-out couch mattress was very thin and the springs broke while we were laying on the bed.The bathrooms are very tiny and the back room should be made into another master with a TV.Great location and very DOG FRIENDLY!

I can asssure everyone that our cleaners do clean the floors on every clean. We did hear from this guest on the day the departed about the sofa bed, to which we apologized. For future guests, the sofa bed was about 2 years old and promptly replaced the following day!

3 days in Newport beach

Very nice place! Enough space to relax for a night in if you want, with a good kitchen and living space to hang out in. Walking distance from beach, pier, and tons of good food/drink. Also a basketball court right across the street!

Great find for the price!

This is a classic little beach cottage that has been cleaned and updated. The location is great and a super-quick walk to the beach or the park. It was clean and ready for us when we arrived, just as advertised. Great find for the price.

Beach Getaway

We stayed at this property over Memorial Day. The location cannot be beat- we had a wonderful time playing the board games and relaxing between the beach and the patio. Our 4- legged friend probably had the best time of his life. The beach and dog friendly park made for an easy life.
