Bayside Getaway est votre chance de découvrir la côte du Maine à la proximité du parc national Acadia belle. La maison se trouve sur 1. 6 acres de terre directement sur l'océan avec vue sur Blue Hill Mountain et l'île de Bartlett. Vous pouvez profiter de couchers de soleil de notre plage. Alors que la marche de la plage, vous pouvez voir la faune commune du Maine comme des phoques, marsouins, le balbuzard pêcheur, et pygargues à tête blanche. Les deux Bar Harbor et Acadia National Park sont à une courte distance en voiture. Lovely seaside home for families

Amanda is a great host, very easy to communicate with and responsive. She kept the place in great condition for us to stay. The house is bigger than we thought, cozy with some recent renovation. The kids loved the hammock and we enjoyed a walk on the big lawn at the back and the beach (at low tide). Wish we had more time to stay!

Nice and Peaceful

We had a great few days in Trenton- it’s an easy 30 minute drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia. Home is well stocked and enjoyable. Setting is quite and peaceful, as advertised.

Beautiful waterfront home

We had an amazing time at the property. The views are beautiful, and the house was well-kept and offered plenty of space for four. The proximity to Acadia is excellent, but you don't have to deal with any of the crowds. We had several very enjoyable nights staying in using the grill and cooking. The house was stocked with everything we needed. Host was very pleasant and responsive. Highly recommended!

Fantastic stay at Bayview Peaceful Ocean Home

This place was everything we could have hoped for. Amanda was attentive to our needs and even offered an alternative phone number when she wasn't available. We had a 14 month along and the home had everything our son and his wife needed for our granddaughter. Pack and play, high chair, and appropriate children's toys plus more! The place was beautiful and quiet. Anywhere from 10 to 30 min drive to all the places we wanted to visit. Wonderful sunsets and great shoreline. Would recommend it to anyone with a family.

Wished we had more time...

What an incredible property and rental experience. The owner, Amanda, provided so much helpful information before and during our stay. The house was clean and very well appointed. There was more than enough space for our family of 4 and the highlight was the fact that there was a fantastic backyard with access to the ocean. It is a 15 min drive to one of the Acadia visitor's centers and 20 minutes to Bar Harbor. I only wish we had more time there. Would absolutely recommend this house to other travelers looking for a beautiful, quiet escape with easy access to Acadia and Bar Harbor.

Best of VRBO

As our family of four adults pulled into the driveway, all were amazed by the view. This amazement continued as we entered the beautiful home that was clean and well stocked. Communication with Amanda was outstanding. In the 10 years we have been doing VRBOs, this was the nicest one we have ever stayed in. We would not hesitate to return to this property.

Great location and well equipped cottage. Location was perfect for us with a tranquil view of the bay yet only a 30 min drive to Bar Harbor. Amanda was very communicative and has added lots of personal touches to make our stay comfortable. Highly recommended.

Wonderful place!

We had 4 adult family members and there was plenty of room. Easy to communicate with the owners. We mainly visited Acadia NP and it was an easy commute. Great views and super quiet location. Highly recommend!

Magical Place

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this property. The house is incredibly cozy yet spacious and is full of beautiful decor. Amanda was a perfect host and made sure that everything was taken care of during our stay. We absolutely loved the gorgeous natural setting. Our boys played on the beach to their hearts’ content and the view from the deck was breathtaking. It’s hard to describe how peaceful and serene this place is. Stargazing was phenomenal and we were able to catch great photos of the Milky Way. We made such precious memories as a family and were sad to leave after three days.

Amanda is great. The House was clean, well stocked and provided a great place for our stay. Beautiful setting. Amanda was very helpful and answered questions quickly. She even checked on us one evening when the weather was questionable and told us where to find flashlights Incase there was a power outage. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others. Lovely house on the water

House had plenty of room for our six person group. The beds were very comfortable and the living room/kitchen was a nice gathering area. There is a large deck and backyard that opens into the beach. Pretty area though it was too cold for us in the fall to test the water. There are some gnats (not biting), I guess from the woods and the water that come through the screens. We had a very nice stay.

Idyllic vacation

Discovering Trenton and this wonderful house has made our favorite and most relaxing annual vacation to the Acadia area even better! The house is compact but has everything one could need and the location is beautiful, quiet, and a joy to return to after a day of exploring, hiking, or biking. Amanda the owner couldn’t be more responsive and her care for the house and love for the area shows in all of the details and amenities. An idyllic vacation!

Beautiful family vacation

We spent a week in august 2022 at the Bayside Getaway. Myself, my husband and three kids (13, 11 and 9) could not have imagined just how beautiful this home and property would be. The pictures on VRBO do not show off the true beauty! We had so much space to spread out with 5 beds and 3 baths. Even though the ocean water is much colder than we are used to, the beach was amazing. We walked and explored it every day finding sea urchins, star fish, sea glass, seashells, crabs galore and even a few flounder! This beach offers the most beautiful sunsets and we would enjoy them with a beachside fire each night and make s’mores with the kids! We all loved the swings under the deck and the hammock! We recommend renting a kayak and having it delivered to the house, was so much fun! The surrounding area is so gorgeous. There is endless amounts of activities to try. We hiked the Gorge Trail up to Cadillac Summit -spectacular. We also walked Ocean Path in Acadia and saw Thunder Hole, Sand Beach and Otter Cliffs! Bar Island was fun as well at low tide. And the food!!!! So much delicious food! Thank you Thaller family for the use of your gorgeous oceanfront property!

I grew up 5 miles away on the Bayside Road. After travelling all over the US...this is the most beautiful area and we wanted to own a place to bring our children and share this amazing National Park and surrounding areas.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Unlike many other properties in this area, Bayside Getaway has simply 3 steps down to a flat usable beach. You can walk for miles in either direction. The beach does not have smelly tidal flats. It is also located at the dead- end of a beautiful network of camp roads which are fantastic for peaceful walks or biking. At night, you cannot hear a sound except the lapping of the waves and the stars are amazing! We truly feel we have found the perfect spot...beautiful, peaceful, safe, close to everything, and with a huge view!
