The listing manager refused to approve the cancelation while it was still valid to give a full refund and wouldn't respond (ignored multiple messages) until I said I changed my mind about cancelling. Not good customer service skills whatsoever, only cares about the money.
This property management company has been a hassle from booking up until the stay. They do not disclose in the listing that there will be a third party reaching out for an additional deposit or waiver, outside of vrbo. Vrbo had a hard time contacting property manager who promised 3 times to contact me but did not. They finally agreed to waive my deposit for the inconvenience since it was not disclosed. Then the day of my trip was ruined as they called the morning of and said the property was under flood and needed to switch to a different property. They couldnât even tell me when the flood happened and mysteriously no flood reported recently online in the area. My day of hiking was ruined with stops to evaluate alternate options that are no where near the property originally booked. We finally agreed to a different one that was much further from the area we wanted to be in, did not have expected amenities. No hair dryer or iron/ironing board. Unknown to us that we also wouldnât have cell service at this property so struggled to look at things to do on our vacation.
We are still waiting two weeks later to hear from a manager for a partial refund on this poor experience.
