This was the perfect picturesque place to relax. The beds were comfy, the kitchen good sized with enough equipment available, the hot tub was just right, and the view was magnificent. We enjoyed the spacious yet cozy vibe.

Awesome weekend visit with out of state cousins!

Beautiful views, peaceful neighborhood, and great home with plenty of room! The home was everything we expected! Highly recommended!

Top of the World Stay

Overall the property is beautiful and quite the gem. Only recommendation is a little bit more on the cleaning as there were bugs and webs in all the corners. But, overall the stay was amazing.

Amazing Getaway

We LOVED our weekend stay! Plenty of room even if you have a bigger group. So many things for everyone to do! If the weather was better we would have spent all our time outside. You can see the lake in the distance, see deer on your drive up, and so much more! Would recommend On Top of the World to anyone!

The stay was nice; we enjoyed the patio and the hot tub. Communication excellent. The broken blinds bothered us; mostly in the master. Until those are fixed you can not sleep in due to the light streaming in. I would also say the coffee pot can be updated. The floor plan was great; there were only a few towels, like 5 maybe? We had 3 of us staying; we used two of them for the hot tub. Overall a pleasant stay.

Quiet Retreat

We enjoyed our time at "On Top of the World". Great views and comfy living spaces to chill and chat with family. If you plan on cooking meals, bring an extra pan and spatula. The cookware was a bit limited. Otherwise, this is a great place to stay put and relax.

Beautiful view

The property was in a good central location for our plans all over the Hill Country. We enjoyed the deck and views. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean. The pictures did not show, but it had a Keurig coffee maker. The AC was getting worked on during our stay and they communicated well. Thank you for a great place to stay.

The location and views were beautiful! A few things were missing rom the house: dish towels, sheets for the futon, ample toilet paper & paper towels & trashbags. Also, the amenities listed a fireplace, but when we arrived the fireplaces both had signs indicating that they were "ornamental" fireplaces. This would have been very good to know, especially because we bought firewood to bring. The house was nice and clean and the outdoor decking was fabulous.

As outlined in the rental agreement you signed, each property is stocked with a starter set of essentials: one roll of paper towels, two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, two trash bags, and small starter quantities of soaps. Guests typically plan to shop for additional supplies once those items are used, but we understand how it can still feel inconvenient when you expect more on hand. Regarding the fireplaces, the property listing states that the home features “an open concept environment consisting of an ornamental stone fireplace, additional comfort seating that surrounds a bar…” These fireplaces are ornamental only, and we apologize if that detail wasn’t noticeable before your arrival. We understand how disappointing it must have been after purchasing firewood. We appreciate your feedback and are glad the home’s cleanliness and setting made for an enjoyable stay overall. Your notes help us continue improving the guest experience.

Great house for large groups

This house easily accommodated 9 family members. The gameroom downstairs was perfect for the kids and we all loved playing foosball. Bathrooms were nice and clean. Beds were comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. The view is amazing and we could see the lake. The back door lock is weird and we couldnt get it to lock.

Serene Getaway

What a great weekend! The house was neat as a pin with such sweet, homey touches everywhere. The hosts have thought of everything; we had everything we needed. The views are gorgeous and the spa is so relaxing. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood, and you really do feel that you're "on top of the world". My only regret is that we could not stay longer (on this trip - - we'll be back)!

Stunning Views and Great Location

We really enjoyed our stay at this rental! The location was excellent—close to everything we needed, yet peaceful and scenic. The layout of the property was thoughtfully designed, making it easy to relax and enjoy the space. Inside, the amenities were well-maintained and added to the comfort of our stay.One downside was the lawn maintenance. The outdoor area has the potential to be a true highlight, but overgrown weeds partially blocked the otherwise breathtaking views from the hot tub and even made some paths difficult to use. We’d love to return once that’s addressed!

Everything was great but the master bed either needs to be replaced or flipped. It has dips in it and was super uncomfortable :( I just want to let someone know because hosts dont know until someone says something.

Amazing views!

Outside area in back around decks could’ve used a little more love in my opinion. Inside could’ve been a tad cleaner. The main, important areas were clean. Just some cobwebs here and there in windowsills, etc. the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the privacy the home lended to guests from one another. Easy access into the home for those that find steps a challenge. The decks probably need a good inspection for safety. Views from living area & decks incredible. we really did enjoy the home and would stay again if we went to the area. It’s a great midway point between San Antonio and Austin.

A central Texas getaway from Minnesota

From check in to check out our stay was reallly great! The property was a much needed retreat from all the snow we have had in Minnesota this past 5 months. Once we got in and settled took inventory of things we needed to buy and be ready to relax, the view just mesmerized us and soon we were forgetting all about snow blowers and icy roads. The hot tub was easy to use and was a welcome relief to our wearily muscles after walking the San Antonio missions and Alamo. As a chef I was hoping for a welcome bottle of wine to go with the steaks I grilled to perfection on the outdoor grill, but that’s ok. One thing to note was that we didn’t find a way to use the cold water in the laundry room and washed everything in hot. We will be back for sure!
